I just read on the website "We Love Soaps" that they had with CZP in which she said she beat cancer twice.

Beat it twice and looks absolutely fabulous!!

I luv her and have for a long time (ditto her hubby when he was on GL). She did an article in Women's Day magazine last March about her battle

which seems to suggest that she was (very) cautiously hopeful (and that she had relapsed in November, 2008). So we (including recovering cancer patients like myself) can send her best wishes and join in the hope.

When you're caught in cancer treatment the one thing you hope for is to get back to your "normal" life (whatever that is for you); so I see it as a good sign that she has been so busy with the show lately, doing such a good job, and looking and sounding so well. I feel confident she wouldn't have undertaken it without an OK from her docs.

I forgot something, re: Wikipedia -- although its info is largely reliable and its staff and the public try to do corrections and flag stuff as "in dispute," many inaccuracies can get posted, and even conspiracy theories, hoaxes, and sometimes stuff that is downright defamatory. (For an example check out the evolution of the "Balloon Boy" thread on it lately.) Eventually most of the junk gets cleaned out, but it can be dangerous to rely on everything in it all the time. One thing that I do sometimes is to look in the footnotes and refer to the source material to get a sense of how reliable the info is.
