I do not like Holden w/Lily never did. I was starting to like Holden w/Carly he was not as boring.

Holden and Lily (either Lily) have always been difficult to watch. He is just so much better and wiser than she is. He always needed to tell her what was the right thing to do.
I enjoyed him with Carly also but Lord knows she would drive him nuts with her bad decisions!

I hope he isn't leaving. I agree Holden is self-righteous and stodgey, but I enjoyed seeing him with Carly. If there could be a way to work that union, I think he'd be more fun.

I wouldn't want him to leave though because he's a central character. And he's cute. He needs somebody like Carly to spice his story up.

The current Lily is the best outside Martha Byrne. Lily is a pain in the neck character. I like her there, but she's often annoying.

I sure hope not..I really like Holden...and I like Emily too

Rosanna needs to find something to do.. I like Greg.

It looks like in the previews for next week we will be seeing Holden alive. I hope he stays out of Oakdale for a while at least or has amnesia or something. I was looking forward to some more Lily and Damian, they are much more interesting!

At the end of yesterday's episode, it showed Holden waking up in a strange bed. So, no, Holden isn't leaving.

Here's my scenario about what I'd like to see happen. (THIS IS NOT A SPOILER):

Holden is saved by a beautiful woman and he ends up having amnesia and falling in love with her. During his absence, Lily and Damian fall in love with each other again. Meg reverts back to her mean, spiteful self (like she was when she was played by Jennifer Ashe) and fights Lily tooth and nail for Damian. But, despite Meg's antics, Lily and Damian reunite. After Holden gets his memory back, he realizes he is much happier with his new love and they go back to Oakdale and he asks Lily for a divorce. He finds out about Lily and Damian and, to their surprise, Holden gives them his blessing. And, they all live happily ever after. Well, except for Meg, who becomes even more mean and spiteful. But, things do change for Meg when her ex-husband Josh (William Fichtner) comes to town and once again tames her and takes her back to Texas, where they also live happily ever after.

Oh, well, one can only dream....

Personally, I have a long history with Holden and Lily as I have been watching this show ever since the spoiled princess fell in love with her mother's stableboy. Of course, that was when Lily was played by MARTHA BYRNE who will always be the one and only true Lily Walsh Mason Snyder Grimaldi Snyder to me. Any recasting done for Holden would be just as stupid, IMO.

But I guess he's not leaving. And I think the amnesia storyline would be INCREDIBLY STUPID AND REDUNDANT seeing as Holden already lost his memory a long time ago when he first found out that Aaron was his and Julie's son. Doesn't anyone here remember him going to New York and getting mugged and completely losing his memory? It was so bad that not only did he not remember Lily (who was played by Heather Rattray at the time), they said his condition could be permanent. Lily was so devastated that she left Oakdale and didn't return for years (until they got Martha to come back again) but by then she was already married to the handsome and powerful Damian Grimaldi.

THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST HOLDEN/LILY STORYLINES EVER!!!! Especially since Holden was just starting to remember Lily only to have her come back and married to someone else. I was so torn between loving Damian/Lily and wanting Lily/Holden back.

I do agree that I like Holden/Lily apart cuz of the angst and drama but, I don't care enough for this new Lily to be invested in any of their storylines -- together or not. She is a whiny beeyotch and I wish she'd take a dive off a cliff instead.

I really enjoyed the Holden/Carly pairing and wish the show didn't chicken out and kibosh them so quickly. But I like the new Craig a lot and I want him to be with Carly so I don't know about Holden and Carly getting back together. I'm torn!!!
