I might of missed something but... how did Janet know it was her sister... She told Jack the last time she saw her was when Teri was 5.. People change a lot from the age 5.. I'm not sure if this was already brought up or not, but I was just thinking about it.. Sorry if I'm wrong. |

Two seconds after seeing her, Janet's all "Oh Teri! My baby sister!" and she hadn't seen her since Teri was 5 - 18 years ago! Answer to your question: It's called "sloppy writing". There were many ways they could've let everyone know Teri was Janet's sister - like did anyone ask her last name? Craig hires her to watch the kids and work at Metro and never says "oh by the way - what's your name?" |

Janet hasn't seen her baby sister since she was 5? She recognizes her? It doesn't make sense at all unless over the years Teri might of sent her pictures of herself, but then again that wasn't mentioned either. I guess the writers must think we're total idiots. |

I am also a little confused as to how she came to ask her sister to stay at the farm THAT DOESNT BELONG TO HER!!!??? I mean really when are Jack and Janet gonna be responsible parents and get their own place for all their trouble making kids? Geeze.... enough already! I mean Janet has no right to ask anyone to move into the farm especially without even asking Emma! It's still her farm or Holden and Meg? It's their mother's farm... |

Jack and Janet need to move out already and find a nice place of their own. Janet has a lot of nerve to ask Terry to move in w/out even consulting Emma! Damn these people need some reality testing. Hello??? |

I got the impression, maybe wrong, that they had kept sporadic touch with each other but not for awhile. The least they could have done was mention her sister occasionally so we knew they had at least spoken to each other. Now it seems like someone just thought of it yesterday morning! |

Well if they moved out Jack and Janet would actually have to work. I know we see Janet at work but what about Jack? I used to love those stories that involved the police station.. |

I realize this is soapland but from another perspective- Janet could have recognized her by the fact that she may look like either of their parents or Janet herself at that age. A stretch perhaps but possible - especially in soapland. |

I also thought the same thing. Today, it was revealed how Janet recognized Teri - from her Face Book page. One would think if Liberty had seen Teri on Face Book, that she would have let herself be known. Teri was shocked to hear that she had been on Face Book. The Face Book thing didn't make sense because Liberty didn't recognize Teri - Janet told Liberty who Teri was and then Liberty replied " I go on your Face Book page all the time"... |

Me also wondered. At the time it would have made more sense to me for Teri to recognize janet. But if face book had something to do with it, why werent they communicating there? The Teri janet meeting was a little rushed I think. Well now thats all over we can see what happens. |

I guess she gave herself that right, just like she invited Brad and Katy to a dinner that she was invited to by Rosanna and Craig, I thought that was quite nervy and in bad taste. As for her recognizing Teri , I thought that was kind of weird. If she thought she looked like her sister, she probably would have asked her some questions before determining it to be her. Although I must say I have recognized some of my kindergarten playmates after seeing them as adults even though I hadn't seen them since that time. |
