is As the world turns, the next soap to be canceled? when will it end, when all the soaps are gone

We won't know if As The World Turns is cancelled until next Spring. Right now the show seems to be trying to improve and to try and jump start the ratings. So all we can do is support the show and let the higher ups know what you like and then what you think needs improvement.

I can't believe they are trying to cancel all of the soaps, surely the ratings on all
of these soaps can't be any worse then some of the other shows they have on the
air that they haven't cancelled. How many game shows, talk shows, so-called reality programs, and mediocre dramas and comedies have the same kind of loyal fans that the soaps have? It doesn't seem fair to destroy daytime soaps. Surely there are some talented writers out there that can give us good stories, I believe there certainly are enough soap fans willing to watch.

Maybe the writers should take a peek at the boards for some fresh ideas since they seem to lack creativity! Though I have to say...ATWT certainly is not the only soap with a lack of creativity with storylines and unhappy fans. It seems like a conspiracy to end all soaps!
