As the World Turns - MESSAGE BOARDS

This SL is so offensive! Soldiers come back from the war every day, scarred for life. No amount of surgery will make them perfect again, but here's Adam without a scar on him. And when was he supposed to have died? The family got word of his death just a few weeks ago, and "Riley" shows up the next day. It would take a very long time to have such extensive surgery. The SL is a slap in the face of all those who have had their lives blown up - literally - in service to their country!

Yeah, they are really grasping at straws!

I don't like this sl at all. The only hope I can see for it is Casey finally telling his mama that he realizes that he has done wrong in the past but all he did was steal, and the only diff between he and Adam was that he was not a product of an affair. Adam tried to rape somebody and Margo being a rape victim excuses her Ba$turd son for attempted rape. I wish Will would find out it was Adam and beat his butt up then Gwen press charges and Casey turn his back on his mama and take Tom w/ him. Margo be left w/ no one, except her jailbird, oh sorry, I mean son.

Everything about this story line is rediculous. First of all the only ppl who knew about what Adam did to Gwen was Will, Gwen, Jade, Maddie, and Kacey! They told Adam to leave and never come back or they would tell ppl what he did. So how does everyone know all of a sudden???? Then Margo is being her usual annoying self how can she ask Kacey to not tell anyone that its Adam. She's protecting him when she threw Kacey in jail! I hope Tom is livid with Margo when he finds out. She has basically chosen rapist Adam over Kacey!

I think Adam had plastic surgery before he went overseas. Honestly, I never did like the way they changed Adam after Craig Lawlor left the role in 2002. Adam had two very loving fathers who raised him (Tom and Hal), and it has been inconceivable to me that he could have turned out to be such a nasty guy! I'd like for Adam to prove to Casey and everyone else that he has changed for the better.

I'm a bit conflicted over this s/l. However, it was no big surprise learning that Riley was Adam.

I can accept Adam having plastic surgery and not having any scars. After all, this is a soap opera. The problem I have accepting this s/l is that his voice has changed and no one is commenting on it. No one on the show and no posters seem to notice.
