Noah and Riley have ties perhaps?

So with rumors that the Col. Mayer is coming back perhaps Riley will come to play a role. He told Noah (after Adam's service)that he was at the same base where Noah was born. There is some suggestion of a connection there. Either they will turn out to be both spawns of Mayer or they were swapped at birth. In any case this will give Mayer the fine military son he always wanted.
I'm curious to see how Mayer is still alive but one does get used to it on the soaps.

Well, remember he supposedly drowned. I always thought that was the stupidest thing I'd ever heard. What kind of soldier doesn't know how to swim? I don't know why anyone would have assumed he drowned.

As clever as the Colonel was, I felt he had planned an under water escape. I thought ATWT would have written that into the script instead of dropping the s/l.
