Adam is Margo son by Hal Munson, the former Chief of Police in Oakdale and Casey's half brother.

I must be remembering wrong. I thought Adam was buried by the kids 2 years ago

Adam wasn't dead when the kids buried him a couple of years ago and was able to dig himself out of that grave and he terrorized Gwen briefly before leaving town.

SPOILER: IN MY OWN WORDS: This coming week Margo is going to learn Adam was killed in Afghanistan where he was helping people rebuild their war-ravaged communities. A man named Riley shows up at Adam's memorial service and tells Margo he knew Adam. Seems Margo is going to "take a shine" to Riley in a motherly way and it's going to cause some friction between Margo and Casey.

Yep, seems Casey can never get his Mom's undivided attention. He always feels last on her list.
