Noah's Father ***SPOILER***

I've saw that Noah's father will be returning sometime in a magazine last week or so through I'm not sure what magazine I've saw it in. Can't wait to see another good Noah storyline. |

I think he is just a little over protective of his son. The Colonel is a fictional charcter, and was never REALLY in the military, I think a faux afront is more disrespectful!! I guess with your screen name I can see why you might see him as a hero when he shot a gay teenager, and killed the mother of his own son. Yeah, that's a guy that I would want to represent the millitary!

I was under the impression Colonel Mayer received a honorable discharge and was a military hero according to Noah and Ameera. What has happen since leaving the military shouldn't be associated with his military service. We should always honor our military veterans and thank them for their service to their country. I'm a military veteran and I got plenty of thanks over the weekend that I never asked for but it made me feel good that people care enough to say thanks for what you did. |

I agree, vets should be respected and believe me I do appreciate them more than others know, but I don't see where I was being disrespectful to veterans in my post. I didn't mention his service to the country at all (aside from referring to him as Colonel). All I was saying was that his hate for Luke and his disapproval of Noah's relationship with him is not one that would change like Damian's. I think it's very obvious how much he hates Luke. No vet bashing at all there. I think NoNuke (seriously) misinterpreted what I was saying. |

Neither am I NoNuke. I've been calling him Colonel Psycho since he's been introduced-- it's just my nickname for him. It in no way alludes to his military service. I simply call him Colonel Psycho because he is always adressed as Colonel Mayer, and he is quite obviously a bit psychotic, so I merged those two things into Colonel Psycho. No vet disrespecting intended or condoned. I love the vets.
