I feel like it's the same old story with them over and over and over again. Paul gets Meg in trouble, Dusty rescues Meg, Dusty gets Meg in Trouble, Holden rescues Meg. Oh wait, now throw Damien in, now he's the hero. How many men does it take to rescue a lame damsel in distress?

Could this girl please learn how to rescue herself? And the over reaction about the bib totally killed the character for me entirely. I am completely over Meg. She gives women a bad name.

I am very sick of this s/l. It is redundant and stupid and has been going on for months!!! Get something new on and close this s/l for good or ATWT will go the route of GL.

Very tired of it. Espeacially Meg lame lying behind. I hate the way her character is being played, like she loves Paul But, can't stand the jealousness that he has, if you don.t give him reason to be he won't. Like dusty is any better just alike both characters. I guess she likes ping pong back and forth. I hope they allowed Paul to raise the baby with Rosanna at least he's really a good father. Leave Meg high and dry, lonely for her lies, nothings going on with Dusty yeah right! Damien needs to mind his business and I hope Paul gets him too!

YES!!! ITA...I am hoping that the return of Roseanna will not be the same ole obsession story also. I wish Meg would get lost in the woods somewhere NEVER to be heard from again. She is SUCH a LIAR, making people think that Paul is dangerous and will do something to hurt Eliza. What a &&*^%%$&)()(^%

Glad I'm not alone on this!
I read a poll about "who the strongest woman in Oakdale" was, and the choice was between Carly and Emily (neither of whom I would consider strong female characters). It got me thinking.

There really aren't that many strong female role models on As the World Turns. Margo can be strong, but she can also be super needy, Lucinda is definitely the strongest by far, Kim's up there. I think it's awesome that they are portraying the older generation as these strong willed, independent women, but I think the younger generation of women on this show are being presents as weak and completely dependent on men for their well being. Meg is definitely the worst.

Long post I know, but I do have a point. ATWT is ripe with weak, pathetic, needy women, but the men are all strong headed, independent, brave, etc. ATWT needs a better balance, and they need to start portraying women in a better light.

Why does every man she meet's want's to rescue her? Now Damien is on it, what is it with these writer's why must all the men love Meg?
