I think Jack is a terrific father and could be even better if Craig wasn't always interferring. You can't make your child learn, when they get to the age Parker is you can try to force them to do something they don't want to do especially when you have a mother like Carly. Parker has already ran away before and if you try to force him into something he is just going to run away. Maybe if Carly gets her act together and starts to set a better example for Parker he will do better. I give Jack a lot of credit for not over reacting and for supporting Parker and listening to him. |

First off Parker has acted like a brat way before craig was in town so lets try and find another excuse for parkers behavior. Second I hope you never have kids if your way of parenting is just let them be and do whatever they want to do and dont force them to do anything. Third even when carly gets her act together parker is still a spoiled selfish brat and people will always make some lame excuse for his behavior. He needs to be sent to boot camp to shape up |

Please somebody, do something about Parker. I can't stand to watch anything with him in it. He's too mouthy and too aggressive towards his parents. I'm convinced that if something isn't done about him, he will attack one of his parents. END this s/l. And YES, I would have knocked him down a long time ago. |

I think Jack is a GREAT father and any kid would be lucky to have him as a dad. |

Yes Jack is a terrific father, and Craig has no bearing on that either way. However he is not making the right decision supporting his son in this matter. YES he can force him to got to school and get good grades to boot. I would tell him it's that or boot camp...he is legally bound to Jack & Carly until 18. 2 years in one of those places should straighten him up. |

Your right Jack is a good father, and Parker does need to go back to school and when he goes back you want him to put forth some effort to learn and better himself. I wish Jack would sit down and have a heart to heart with him and make it clear to Parker what he expects from Parker. I don't like the boot camp idea because I know a young man about Parker's age that got killed by the drill instructors running the place. Besides sending a kid off to boot camp is like saying we're washing our hands of you let someone else worry with you. |

You don't have to be violent to be assertive, I think when most of us say knock on the head and the other phrases. We just mean he needs to have the reins pulled in on him. I don't think you can blame his actions on Carly or Jack they are just parents doing the best they can. Parents always get the rap for their kids. |

It happen in Florida and Arizona, just go to a search engine and type in "boy dies at juvenile boot camp" and see what comes up. I think after today's show people should start hounding Carly and not Parker. |

I disagree about the issue of the Boot Camps...for one the ones I know about have been very successful and it is not only that you send your child away, there is counseling for the family as well...the parent is not excluded from the process. What you are speaking of is a fluke and not about Boot Camps in general. Parker is the perfect example of a child completely out of control and headed for trouble that his well connected host of family and friends can not get him out of. Then there will be consequences that he just DON'T want to experience. Jack should not, SHOULD NOT support Parker in this spiteful manuever that he is doing. To just allow him to sit on his azz and not do ANYTHING is wrong. I would make him go out there and work...newspaper routes and delivery boys is all he is qualified to do at this time. He can't even get a job dish washing unless one of those connections once again come to his pampered bottom and bail him out by giving him a job. Which Carly and Jack should not allow. Make him walk the pavements and ride the buses and feel the rejections of what happens to people with no education. THEN he will see what it is like...He has conviently forgotten he and Liberty tried to find work and NOBODY would hire a non high school graduate. Which is why he committed a robbery. And with no consequences once again because his parents are afraid he will run away for the hundredth time. He should no longer recieve an allowance and he should be made to be responsible for his own upkeep. That is what ADULTS do; since he keeps saying he is one, he should be made to see...IT AIN'T so easy...and stop pouting and get his bottom back in shcool and as far as his trust fund goes...he is not touching another penny of that money until he is 21. Wait a minute it was Jack who was trying to teach him there are consequences for your actions. Remember Jack arrested him and Craig came in and said he gave Parker the money and got him off, otherwise Jack would have been able to teach him something but once again Craig stuck his nose in where it didn't belong. Craig gave him $50,000 which he used to buy a car which he used to drive around all day and skip school. As far the bootcamp goes I guess you have to ask yourself if you feel comfortable with someone else disciplining your child and will they become over zealous and actually do physical harm to my child. I would never have let anyone have that much control over my child. |

Nobody should be bashing Parker. How do you think a child is going to turn out with parents like Jack and Carly and with continual drama in their lives. He's definitely not going to make a good husband with Jack as a father/role model, that's for sure. I really wish the writers would bring a good man on the show for Carly and make her more stable. That's what Parker needs. Oh, and as for Ms. priss Liberty. She needs the boot. I am so sick of her whiny self. She needs to stay away from Parker. She didn't want to be married to him, she rats him out, but yet she expects for Parker to bear open arms with friendship??? Whatever!!!! She needs to mind her own business and stay out of Parker's life!! |
