JACK DOUBTERS NEED TO APOLOGIZE

For everyone of you out there who said Jack was manufacturing evidence, who said Jack was going after Craig for personal reasons, who said Jack will do anything to lock Craig up, who said Jack wasn't being fair or objective, you need to step up and apologize for jumping the gun and doubting Jack would do the right thing. All you people who called him a lying hypocrite, a piece of trash, lying good for nothing low life, and many other things should be ashamed of yourself for not giving Jack the benefit of the doubt. As soon as Jack had something to go on he acted on it, he even stopped Dusty from taking Johnny out of town. He held Craig because at the time no other evidence had surfaced, but when Lucy came forward Jack did what I knew he would do and let Craig go. The reason he didn't let him go when Parker said he was with him is because of several factors, one Craig had already pulled the fake alibi thing before and we all know the story about the boy who cried wolf, second Parker said he was only with Craig for a few minutes not for the entire time span in which the murder took place so that wasn't a solid alibi. If Jack was on a personal vendetta he would have took the ledger from Dusty and not asked any questions, but he didn't.

So man up, woman up, whatever you want to call it and for once just say it, "Jack I'm sorry I doubted you I was wrong", just say it for heavens sake!

Do NOT ask our posters to apologize for their own thoughts on storylines or characters.

OOOOO It seems like you want to be rude around this whole board because you dont have your parker and liberty anymore to get you off. YOu seem to hold the same vendetta against craig that jack does face it PARKER RUINED HIS OWN MARRIAGE CRAIG HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT LIBERTY DID NOT WANT TO BE MARRIED.

What is there for people to admit they were wrong about jack has been ignoring evidence and not looking at the bigger picture for his personal vendetta nothing has changed. Parker and liberty by far one of the worst things on the show and the writers knew that

Did I say apologize to me?? huh huh??? no I said to Jack and I know he is just a character on a show, but people were so quick to jump on him and think that he would railroad Craig but as soon as something solid came up Jack acted on it.

IF you had read the posts, you would have seen that we were saying IF Jack did those things..not THAT he did all of them.
It is my opinion that Jack is/was not looking at the evidence with an open mind. That is a fact. His hatred for Craig WAS clouding his judgment. I don't know what part of that show you obviously missed, but your assumption that he had intentions of freeing Craig are incorrect. He still had to be convinced/hounded by Carly to let him go, even after Lucy's confession.
HE was not going to let Craig go.
He stopped Dusty because he had to..it's his job. One he should've been doing all along without prejudice.

I will NOT apologize for what I saw happen.

Again we were not wrong, and it is rude to ask people to apologize for their opinions, and tell them they are wrong.
Jack was/is an ass where Craig is concerned, and he didn't do his job the way he is obligated to do.
You may have your way of looking at things..that is your right. We have the right to the same courtesy.

End of story.

I don't think Jack ignored evidence, if he had then Craig wouldn't have been detained. A big box full of guns and the box is owned by Craig is not evidence that can be ignored. Craig is just lucky Jack didn't call in ATF or FBI on his sorry but. I had little to no question in my mind that Jack would let Craig go when he had enough solid information to support Craig being innocent.
As for you asking for people to apologize, you might as well be talking to a wall, didn't you know that no one is ever wrong here, only place on the planet where people are right 100% of the time.

Jack may be the lead detective, but he still has to keep his Police Chief informed about the things going on in her police station, especially if it involves gun smugling, a federal offense. ATF, FBI, CIA all should have been notified. Heck now even HLS is notified.

Is it the Patriot Act that gives authorities the right to hold someone they suspect has terrorist ties? I know they could hold him for 72 hours if they suspect him of a crime before they have to charge him, but if they suspect him of being a terrorist or having terrorist ties then they can hold him longer. A box full of illegal automatic weapons being shipped to and from foreign countries could appear to be terrorist related.

What more could Jack have done to check out the alibi?
He asked Parker where you with Craig and Parker said yes for about 10mins. Beyond that what could Jack do? Turn to Craig and say is this true were you with Parker for 10mins during the 2hr window in which this murder took place? Jack allowed Parker to give the alibi but it wasn't enough to rule out the possiblity of the other 110mins Craig was alone. Jack took the alibi into consideration but it still wasn't enough to show beyond any doubt that Craig couldn't have been at the docks at some point during that 2 hour span. If I'm not mistaken it only takes a minute to stab someone.
