The writers better study police procedures if Zac knocks an officer out his radio check in procedure would find out in short order as he has to check in or radio will check on him and a non responce would envoke a big deal

I thought that too, what is going on here? A police officer being shot is a big deal. There should have been lots of cops there.

ALL of the writing on this show is a complete an utter travesty!!! This show has been going down the tubes for over a year now and it all has to do with the really bad writing. The hideous dialogue, that appears to be written by fifth graders who have just watched twenty hours of 1950's melodrama's. The s/l that go nowhere, and make no sense. The majority of the characters acting completly out of character in order to advance these lazy silly plots that the writers come up with. This show has been turned into complete garbage, and isn't even worth watching any more!!!!

UPDATE: Wed the 29th Notice that neither Jack nor Margo were wearing the normal memorial black strips over their badge's, you can tell for sure the writers have no clue.
