Stuart Michael Damon
Birthday: February 5 1937 |
Born in Brooklyn, New York to Russian parents, Stuart's love of acting started at the age of 11 when he played the cowardly lion in a production of "The Wizard of Oz." After attending a private high school, he did his BA at Brandeis University, graduating with a degree in psychology. Although he was planning to become an attorney, he was seduced by the pleasures of summer stock stage productions. Taking acting as his living, he moved to London, England with his British wife, Deirdre, and worked on television and stage.
After returning to the United States in 1977, he signed on as a regular on General Hospital. His success there led him to TV suspense thriller "Fantasies"; a cameo in the comedy feature film "Young Doctors in Love," an ABC Motion Picture released in 1982; and a highly dramatic guest role on an episode of Arthur Hailey's "Hotel."
