Paolo Seganti was born in Milan, Italy. A professional boxer, winning the Italian Amateur Championship, Paolo continued to box as he began acting in the theater. But it was modeling for Chanel, YSL, and Calvin Klein that brought him to the attention of As the World Turns
The role of Damian Grimaldi was Paolo's first paid job as an actor. The importance of his character grew due to audience demand. Therefore, instead of a short guest appearance, Damian became an important part of the show. In fact, his character became SO popular that Damian's role was revived several times after Paolo had left the show.
