Where Are They Now: As The World Turns' Justine Cotsonas.

Wednesday, July 01 2009

(CBS)
When we last saw her, she was a ghost haunting Meg, or, at least, a figment of Meg's drugged up imagination. It's been nearly a year since she left As The World Turns as Sofie Duran, but actress Justine Cotsonas has been steadily adding to her resume with a diverse set of credits. Earlier this year she could be seen in a Russian comedy set in New York, "Lyubov v bolshom gorode."

Although not many people are likely to have spotted her in that small role, she has some larger roles in far more high profile gigs coming up. The young actress currently has two different projects in post production. She will be playing Maggie in "Last Night," starring Eva Mendes and Keira Knightley. The film follows a married couple who spends a night apart and battles the temptations they encounter with partners new and old.

Later this year, Cotsonas will be returning to television. She will play Bali on HBO's new series, "The Wonderful Maladys." The show, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar (ex-Kendall, AMC) and Molly Parker, is a dark comedy set in Gotham. It deals with the dysfunctional lives of three adult siblings who lost their parents when they were young.

Soaps.com congratulates Justine on her latest work and wishes her the best of luck!
