Zach grills Tad, Annie is rushed to the hospital, and Adam goes to the police station!
Jake stops David in the hospital and tells him that Amanda hasn't returned his calls. David says she's just resting in case she's pregnant. Jake wonders how she could be pregnant when the doctor told him she didn't perform the insemination. David admits that he informed the doctor her services were no longer needed. Jake demands to know why. David says Dr. Hines didn't have a great track record. Jake is skeptical that David suddenly switched doctors, and is upset that he wasn't told. David says his paranoia is getting tiresome. Just then, Amanda appears. Jake takes her aside and she apologizes for not calling him back - she needed to sort things out. Jake says she can tell him anything - why did she hide that they blew off the fertility doctor? Amanda asks what the big deal is about switching doctors? Jake says it's the way they're both acting - and he's terrified of what the reason might be. He asks, "There was an insemination, right?" Amanda says of course, but Jake insists something is wrong. Amanda blurts, "I did what I needed to do!" Jake asks what that means. Amanda says he's making this harder for her and stalks off!
At Zach's house, Tad tells Zach that Aidan is just doing his job - he's protecting Kendall. Zach still thinks there's something Tad isn't telling him. Tad tells him to back off with the attitude - he's not the enemy. He insists that Aidan is only protecting Kendall, but Zach feels Tad is covering for his friend. Tad asks why he would do that, and Zach says, "Because he's trying to seduce my wife!" Tad tells him that he actually didn't see Kendall, but Aidan was concerned about the FBI finding them. Zach asks why he lied to him. Tad says his paranoia and emotions are going to get them caught! Zach throws him out, then tells Rachel he's leaving for a while. He opens the safe and takes out a gun!
In the motel, Kat tells Aidan she got exactly what he asked her to get. She leaves the room and Aidan calls out to Kendall, who reappears saying she's having trouble getting more wine. Aidan suggests that perhaps she doesn't need anymore, but Kendall insists that she does. When she isn't looking, Aidan puts a packet of powder in her wine glass. Kendall drinks her wine as they talk. She tells Aidan that for the first time since they left she feels happy. She then tells him she knows what he's up to - and as she laughs and jokes, she says it's working - she feels better! Suddenly, Kendall announces she is hot and wants some air. She lurches across the room, and Aidan steadies her. She hugs him, saying he's her hero! Kendall begins to talk to him as though he is Zach - she asks him to give her a kiss! Aidan tells her Zach can't kiss her - he's not there. Aidan says he's putting her to bed, she's had too much wine. He puts her in bed and turns out the light, before leaving the room.
Adam is at Erica's telling her that it's time for him to admit the truth - he killed his brother. Ryan appears and says that's exactly what is going to happen - they're going to go to the police station and Adam will confess. Erica blurts, "No Adam! Don't do it!" Ryan asks her what she is talking about? Erica points out what this will do to Adam - she knows he never would have pulled that trigger if he had been in his right mind. She claims that Annie is the one who should pay! Adam says he has to confess - this is eating him up. He asks Ryan to call Jesse and alert him.
In the Chandler living room, Annie is leaving Adam a message on the video camera about how strong and real their love was, when she is overcome with abdominal pain. She sinks to the floor and looks down to see blood! She crawls across the floor trying to get help, but passes out. Scott, who had taken his suitcase out to the car, comes back in and sees her - he rushes to her side. He grabs the phone.
At the police station, D.A. Willis quizzes Jesse about Kendall Slater. Jesse looks confused. Willis says that he got a message saying he was bringing in Stuart Chandler's murderer. Adam, Erica, and Ryan appear. Adam says he's there to confess to murdering his brother! Erica and Ryan watch as Adam talks to the police in the glassed-in room. Ryan assures Erica that Zach probably knows where Kendall is and will bring her home. Ryan says that Adam has to unburden himself - he knows how it feels. Natalia rushes in and tells them that an ambulance has been sent to the Chandler house! Ryan tells her it's just another attempt by Annie to stop Adam from telling the truth. Jesse comes out of the glass room to get Adam some water. Erica says she's concerned about him, and Jesse's surprised that she cares!
Scott comes into the hospital beside Annie's stretcher. David meets them and barks out orders. He tells Scott she's lost a lot of blood! Ryan shows up and questions if Annie's faking it. Scott bitterly says she's not - there was plenty of blood. He accuses Ryan of leading the pack to push Annie these past months. Ryan points out that he was just trying to get the truth - Kendall is innocent. Scott says that baby was too. Scott leaves the hospital, and David comes out looking for him. Ryan says Annie is the mother of his daughter and wants to know her status. David says she lost the baby and she's not in good shape. Just then his beeper goes off - it's Annie!
Scott goes back to the Chandler house where Lucretia is scrubbing at the bloodstain on the carpet. Scott tells her he'll do that and sends her home. As he thinks about the video camera and everything that's happened, he gets angry and trashes the system. He then finds the disc and watches Annie's final message to Adam. He gets a call, and listens to Annie's status.
Zach goes to his casino and plays a card game. The dealer gives him a card with the address of where Aidan and Kendall are written on it. The dealer apparently followed Tad. He then gives Zach photos of Kendall and Aidan eating and drinking wine together and hugging. Zach chokes the man, who protests that the photos are the real thing!
Back at the motel, Aidan is alone, tidying up when a woman with hair remarkably like Kendall's approaches him and slips off her kimono! As he begins making love to her, her back is to the window. Zach appears and watches from outside. It looks like Aidan is making love to Kendall!
Amanda searches out David in the hospital and rants about Jake questioning her and what a mess it all is. David reaches out to comfort her, and she tells him not to touch her ever again! Jake appears and decks David!
At the station, Adam has finished giving his confession and is being led away in handcuffs. Erica stops him and says that Annie was taken to the hospital. She tells him that Annie lost the baby - but that's not all.
