Amanda decides to do the unthinkable, Ryan gets a huge shock, and Aidan manipulates Kendall!
David and Amanda bicker in the stranded car about whether or not she will conceive right away. When she brings up Trevor, David suggests that maybe that would work again. Amanda says, "Make a baby the old-fashioned way? No way!" David chuckles, and tells her to relax - he's not trying to get lucky - his backseat days were over long ago! He reminds her that she may hate the memory of that night, but they made an amazing little person, and with luck, they'll do it again! As they continue to argue, David suggests that Jake may have ulterior motives too. She says he's just jealous. David insists he wants this all over quickly, just as she does - he doesn't want her around his house acting miserable! Amanda says she's taking a walk. She's soon back, saying she pulled a muscle. They start arguing again about her window to conceive passing them by. Amanda cries that she just wants to get this over with. David says if they did it the natural way, Jake would never have to know. Amanda says no, but David says it would just be insemination to conceive a child - not like cheating. David says they'll tell Jake they went to the clinic as planned. Amanda makes him swear on Trevor's life that he won't tell Jake. David agrees. Amanda is conflicted, but says, "Let's do it." She says he'd better make it quick, and he can't talk, or look at her! David muses that his backseat days aren't over after all!
Zach appears at ConFusion where JR is sitting with Liza. He informs JR that they have a date with the D.A. - he's going to tell him that Adam killed Stuart! JR says he didn't see him pull the trigger, and Liza asks Zach if he wants JR to lie? Zach says he wants him to lie for Kendall. JR continues to refuse and moves away. Liza tells Zach that he can't just force people to lie for him! She appeals to him to just sit down for a moment. He does. He tells Liza that he just wants Kendall to come home.
At the Chandler Mansion, Adam tells Annie that he called her an ambulance - she has to be checked out! Annie protests repeatedly. Adam says it would make him feel better. Scott suggests that Adam listen to Annie, but the paramedics arrive at the door. Adam wants them let in!
At the hospital, Jake is alerted to Annie coming in, as Erica and Ryan listen. Ryan insists to Jake that he will discover she's faking a miscarriage. Jake says if that's true, he'll know. Erica is excited about Annie being exposed - she plants a big kiss on Ryan. Ryan warns her that Adam still has to turn on Annie and confess. Erica says it will happen. She wants to call Zach and let him know. Jake waits for Annie to be brought in and checks his phone for a message from Amanda as he paces.
In the hospital, Annie has a moment with Scott. She tells him that even if they realize she is faking, they can't tell Adam due to confidentiality. Erica approaches Adam, who tells her to save her phony concern, and warns her to stay away from Annie. Adam walks away, and Erica tells Scott she wants the charges against Kendall dropped - she didn't kill his father and he knows it! She laments that he's not as honorable as Stuart! Scott tells her to leave Stuart out of this! Erica says she can't - he would be so disappointed! Scott tells her he has to honor Stuart's love for Adam. Erica accuses him of doing it for himself, and says protecting Adam won't bring Stuart back! As Scott stalks away, Erica and Adam meet up again. She tells him to take a big dose of his heart medicine - he's going to need it!
Behind the curtain, Annie tells Jake that she miscarried after falling downstairs, and Ryan says, "Why don't you let the doctor be the judge of that, Annie?" Annie threatens to call security, and Ryan mocks her for falling for his ruse that she can't conceive. Annie wants a different doctor, saying Jake's working for Ryan. Ryan says that any doctor will be able to tell she wasn't pregnant. Annie hisses, "I can't believe you set me up." Ryan says the truth will come out now. Annie angrily asks why he wants to take everything from her?! Ryan confronts her about trying to pin a murder on her seven year-old daughter, and getting her to lie about a traumatic event. Annie gets out of bed and tells him to shut-up over and over. Suddenly, she collapses on the floor!
In the motel, Aidan watches Kendall as she sleeps. When she gets up she sits at the laptop, lamenting that she hasn't heard from Zach for a while. Aidan remarks that she hasn't been eating, then says he'll leave her to it. She types another message to Zach.
Down in the lobby with Kat, Aidan says Kendall's waiting for a message from Zach. Kat is at a laptop, and tells Aidan it's all set up the way he requested - all of the emails between Zach and Kendall will be intercepted. They note how both of them are getting anxious about not hearing from the other. Kat says she'll create a message from Zach to Kendall and asks what would bother Kendall. Aidan says she wouldn't like Zach hanging out with Liza Colby - Kat starts typing. Aidan tells her some of the story behind Kendall's jealousy of Liza.
Upstairs, Kendall gets the doctored message from Zach. It says how he worked through the night with Liza, and is signed, "Take care." Kendall slams the laptop closed. Aidan comes in and she tells him Zach spent the night with Liza! She accepts a drink of wine, and proceeds to whine about Zach and Liza. Aidan says she might be over-reacting. Kendall says anything could happen between them. She asks for a second alone. Aidan leaves. Kendall curses Liza and lies down on the bed. She dreams of Liza seducing Zach. She startles and cries, "No!" She imagines Zach and Liza together over and over again.
Aidan goes back downstairs to the lobby and tells Kat that Kendall got 'Zach's' message. She tells him that now they must wait. Aidan goes back upstairs when he hears Kendall smash her wine glass. He stands outside the room door and smiles.
Erica goes into ConFusion and looks around for Zach. She sees him with Liza and rushes over to tell him about Annie being in the hospital and the faked miscarriage. Zach is pleased about this development, and he leaves with Erica.
Back at the hospital, Adam comes into the room where Ryan is looking at Annie on the floor. Ryan insists she's acting, but Adam is furious. Jake comes in and they put Annie back in bed. Jake asks them all to leave. Ryan claps and says, "Great performance, Annie." Jake turns and says it's not a performance - she's out cold! Jake emerges after checking her over and tells Adam, Scott, and Ryan that Annie didn't miscarry - she's pregnant! Ryan is stunned!
