Are You Sober?!

Wednesday, October 21 2009
JR and Marissa's loved ones react to their news, Annie calls Ryan's bluff, and the Hubbards get word about Madison!

Natalia takes a call at the police station wondering if Jesse has a statement on the 'news'. Natalia asks, "What news?" Angie arrives, and Natalia tells her that Madison is dead - when her father moved her against David's advice, she died in ICU later! Angie tells Natalia she's going to church - to pray for Madison, and for herself - she wished Madison would die!

Randi awakens from a bad dream. Frankie asks her if it was about Madison again. Randi nods, and describes her dream - Madison was behind every door she opened, saying, "It's not over!" Frankie sighs and says it is over, reminding his wife that Madison even tried to give him the key. Randi says the key is still out there - and the evidence.

Jesse confronts Adam and Scott, at the Chandler Mansion, about leaving their front door unlocked. He says it means they're obviously not worried about Kendall being on the loose - maybe they should be more worried about Annie! He asks about what he overheard, and Adam laughs nervously, before defending Annie again. Jesse gets a call from Natalia - telling him that Madison North is dead!

In the hospital, Emma tells Ryan that she wants to go to the big house with mommy. He asks her about finding that place was scary. Annie walks in and Ryan pulls her out of the room. He calls her a lying, manipulative witch! He accuses her of using Emma's delicate psyche to control things. Annie laughs and says Emma just wants to go home with her - not him. Ryan can't believe he's trying to convince their daughter to go to the house where she saw a murder! Erica slips into Emma's room, as Annie tells Ryan he won't be able to deny Emma what she wants. Ryan has an idea, though. He asks Emma if she'd like mommy to stay with them at the penthouse! Annie gapes and stammers, but Emma says, "Pleeease!" Annie says maybe, and leaves.

In bed, JR proposes to Marissa. She says she doesn't understand, so he asks again. Marissa tells him she knows he's only asking because he's scared and he thinks time is running out. He admits the cancer has opened his eyes and has let him see what's important. JR asks again.

At the Martin house, Tad sends the kids off to find utensils to carve pumpkins. Krystal smiles as they run into the kitchen. She then asks Tad what's going on with JR - he hasn't called to check on Little Adam hardly at all the past two days. She wonders if he's drinking. Tad says he's merely sorting himself out after everything that's happened in his family. When they start the pumpkins with the kids, Krystal wants to discuss their situation again - are they just going to be two people living together? Tad says he honestly doesn't know.

Scott and Adam continue talking about Stuart's murder in the Chandler living room. Scott asks Adam if he's bothered by the fact that an innocent woman is paying the price for a murder she didn't commit. Adam waves off his concerns, saying Kendall is Erica Kane's daughter - wherever she is, he's sure she's being well taken care of!

Jesse catches up with Angie at home. Natalia, Frankie, and Randi are there, and Jesse confirms that Madison died - apparently the trip was too much for her. Frankie is overcome with guilt - he was the one driving the car. Jesse urges him to move forward and not blame himself. Jesse then goes to Angie and asks if they can move forward too - maybe this is a sign the bad stuff is behind them. She hopes so. Suddenly, there is a knock at the door. It's Madison's father - carrying the contents of her security deposit box! He asks what the meaning of all this stuff is!

JR and Marissa arrive at the Martin house and greet the kids. Krystal remarks on JR's bald look, and Tad comments on how happy he seems. JR tells Tad they're wondering if he's available - they know he performed Jake and Amanda's wedding ceremony. Marissa blurts, "We're getting married!" As JR and Marissa move to play with the kids, Krystal hisses to Tad that this just isn't right - Babe died a year ago, and now her husband wants to marry her sister!

Annie gets home to the Chandler Mansion and discusses Ryan with Scott and Adam. Annie insists that they have to keep Emma away from Ryan, but she also knows that he loves her more than anything and isn't about to let her be taken away. Scott suggests that she call Ryan's bluff and move in with him. Adam is against it, but Scott says it's the only way to ensure Emma doesn't tell the truth. Scott plays the Stuart card with Adam, and he finally agrees to her moving in - just until the wedding.

Emma arrives at home with Ryan and Erica. She quizzes her daddy on why her mommy may not want to move in, and just what Erica's role is in everything. Erica tells Emma that she and Ryan are friends. Emma goes upstairs.

Tad watches as JR takes Little Adam outside at the Martin house and tells him how he feels about Marissa. JR tells Little A that he loves him too. Tad then talks to JR, urging him to do his wedding properly in a church with friends. JR explains why he wants Tad to do it.

Marissa is in the Martin living room with Krystal. Marissa realizes she's not happy. Krystal remarks that it's only two days from the anniversary of Babe's death. Marissa won't let her make it ugly. They argue over who knows JR better. Marissa says Krystal sees a drunk, but she sees the man who she loves! Tad and JR join them again. Tad says that he considers himself as JR's father, so it's fitting that he and Krystal are both there to share this day. Tad begins the wedding ceremony, and Marissa and JR say their own heartfelt vows to one another. Krystal flinches a little when JR says he never thought he could fall in love again. The kids grin as JR and Marissa kiss, and Tad pronounces them husband and wife. They kiss again.

After JR and Marissa have gone, Krystal and Tad sit in the living room and she remarks that they really did seem happy. Tad says it's tragic that JR found Babe then lost her, but those kids deserve to be happy.

JR and Marissa are at the Chandler Mansion telling Scott they got married. Scott beams, saying Marissa is a Chandler now. Adam comes in and JR tells him their news. Adam blurts, "Are you sober?" JR says he is, but Adam says he wasn't talking to him. Marissa glares.

Annie arrives at Ryan's to move in. She tells Erica that Adam was all for it. Emma comes downstairs and Annie decides to tell her she's marrying Adam. Emma yells, and tells Annie she hates her! Erica muses, "That went well." Ryan tells Annie maybe she should leave, since Emma doesn't want her there.

Next on All My Children:

Ryan and Zach think Adam could lead them to the truth.

Annie fears Emma might reveal their secret, and interrupts her talk with Ryan!

Randi’s confident her troubles are over when they receive the security tapes.

Liza wants to know Bailey's intentions.

Tad and the kids carving pumpkins was GREAT!

Annie....still amazes me how she has no problem manipulating her own 7 year old daughter for her own selfish needs.

Adam is such an arse. And he wonders why all of his kids have nothing to do with him.

Annie deserves the mother of the year award for manipulating and using her daughter to make sure no one knows she killed Stuart now that can make you want to say
hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Poor Madison...I mean she was a trouble maker, but still... poor Madison.

Ok moments over...

I just can't wait to see Annie go down, maybe not for the murder, but for the manipulation of her daughter. It seems weird to me that Adam could be manipulated by her that way. Adam usually is not so gullable.

Annie she be ashamed of herself manipulating Emma like that. I think Adam killed Stuart Annie knows and when they marry she blackmail him to get what she wants.

I guess we know Madison is not really dead...regardless of the verification of her father and the hospital. Good Lord! Death means nothing on these shows. I would think they would be a bit more sneaky ( at least all the people I know that have faked their death, got amnesia etc).

I am glad Emma has revolted against Annie's up coming nuptials. All the "work" Annie has done to protect her situation and the kid could take it all down !!!LOL

If JR is keeping his cancer a secret so not to lose Little A, now that he and Marissa are married what would stop him from telling the truth? Marissa could be littleA's "mother" and no one could take him away.

Can't believe I am trying to look at these storylines logically !!!

I guess I'll actually watch tonight instead of waiting to get dressed in the morning (no wonder my days are so bad - I get dressed to AMC). Yeah, Annie's a bad mother; and Ryan is a bad father - Emma becomes his beloved daughter usually when he's after Annie - the rest of the time someone else is watching her, or no one; Adam has lost what little mind he had; we all know Madison isn't really dead. But can we have a drinking game - you have to take a drink everytime someone blames/accuses Annie of anything/everything.

I know that Emma is just a little girl and has been thru alot. But her father needs to sit her down and tell her that lying is wrong, even if mommy told her to do it.

HipHop...AMC already makes me want to drink !! The only thing I blame Annie for is being a first class witch. I don't care what she has done to whom ( murder, stabbing, kidnapping etc ) but this game she is playing is making me nuts. Agreed, everyone going around chanting the "Annie's guilty" mantra are complete boneheads but this whole storyline has turned me against her. Emma really killing Stuart would be worth the lengths she is going to "protect her daughter" but not for her security, money, power...whatever. I can't remember when a character got under my skin so...not even David Heyward.

Yeah, I don't believe Madison is really dead either. Her father has manipulated this situation so she won't continue to be an embarrassment to the family. How much do you want to bet that Frankie will be the first to find out she's still alive.

At this point I don't care who killed Stuart, I just know that he deserved better than the S/L they came up with.

Tad and the kids were a refreshing change. Too bad it got broken up by Annie And The No Brains. MAKE IT STOP!

JR and "I Would Be Babe If I Could", were okay, but I'd rather it WAS Babe.

I mailed my Christmas wish to Santa, I had one thing on it: Please Santa, fly over Pine Valley and spray the writers with creative juice, I want better stories on AMC. Thanks
