Jesse pleads with Angie, Kendall makes a move, and the impostor runs!
At the hospital, Ryan confronts Scott about why he's defending Annie. Scott tries to walk away, but Ryan asks him to stay and explain his change of heart. Scott says it wasn't Annie who killed his dad - it's never been Annie. Ryan wonders who she's pointing the finger at now - is it Emma? Ryan demands to know from the silent Scott how he could believe that?! Ryan says Annie would destroy anyone for herself - he warns him never to say Emma is guilty. Scott says he didn't say that - Ryan did.
Annie and Adam go into the chapel of the hospital. She tells him he has to keep quiet about what he knows. Adam says of course. Annie says she made Emma promise to keep quiet too, and it was an accident. Annie says she saw it all happen, and has convinced Emma it was all a dream. Adam says he understands why she didn't come forward, but doesn't understand why she chose to confide in Scott! She says she felt she could trust him because he is Stuart's son and he's a good man. Annie says she told Ryan also, but he doesn't believe her. She says she can't blame him after all the lies she's told. Adam wonders if their relationship is about protecting Emma and getting her back? Annie says at first it was, but she's realized how generous and loving he is - she's in love with him. Adam says he has to believe that, because he loves her. She just wants them to be a family with Emma.
David and Angie bicker in the corridor about why she treated Kendall and kept him out. Angie says Kendall's life is none of his business, and tells him to back off. David smirks - she really is up to something! Angie says there is a top secret plan to break Kendall out of prison - just to mess with him! David sighs. Angie says that the world doesn't revolve around him - he should take his paranoia and go away - stay out of their lives!
In the secret room, Liza tells the impersonator that what she's doing is against the law, so she had better go along with the plan. The girl says they will kill her if she goes back to prison - she doesn't care about Kendall or the money - she wants out! Liza calls Zach to tell him what's going on. He tells Liza to lock the girl in - he's on his way!
Jesse tells Erica, in the hallway of the hospital, that it's normal for Kendall to be acting strangely when she's been in prison. She tells Jesse that she doesn't want Kendall to go back to jail. Zach emerges from Kendall's room and says he's taking Ian home. Erica goes in to see her daughter. Angie joins Jesse and explains what just happened with David - she demands to know exactly what is going on! Angie feels it's been all secrets and cover-ups since he came back to her. Jesse feels this isn't about them - it's about Annie Lavery getting away with murder! Angie is concerned about the way he's going about things. Jesse tells her to hate him, or help him, it's up to her!
In Kendall's room, Erica questions her about her attitude toward Ian - why did she send him home. Kendall says that she and Zach talk often. Erica says that she understood that she was refusing to talk to anyone! Kendall says they've made progress - it's none of her business how they did it. Erica says something is off. They discuss Liza. Kendall tells Erica that Liza is on her side - she knows that now. Erica is about to leave, when Kendall asks her what is going on between her and Ryan? Erica says he was her dance partner, and has confidence in her - it's helped her. Kendall urges her to elaborate, but Erica declines.
Zach is in the secret room with the impersonator. He offers to pay her big money if she goes back. She claims she would only last a couple of hours if she goes back. He gives her pain pills, then steps out. He tells Liza this is as bad as it gets! They brainstorm about what to do. He notes that David Hayward is already asking questions. Liza suggests they push the impersonator a little harder. Zach tells Liza to lock her in the room, then leaves.
Annie and Adam show up at Emma's room. Adam tells Ryan she needs to be with Emma. Annie goes in and warns Ryan not to try to stop her. Ryan sneers at Adam - asking what happened to the great Adam Chandler that he could be taken in by the likes of Annie - and Scott too. Ryan says he's a fool. Adam says Ryan's the fool! Adam tells him to protect his daughter, but Ryan insists he's going to prove Annie is the killer. Adam says he should get Emma the help she needs and move on. Annie comes out and tells them to stop it. Ryan wonders why she's hanging around - she's afraid of Emma waking up and saying something before she can put a hand over her mouth!
When everyone has left Kendall's room, David tells the police guard he needs to check on the patient. Kendall is surprised to see him, and notes that Angie's her doctor. David looks at her chart and says it doesn't add up - she has no signs of trauma. He points out that he was accused of killing Stuart - he was glad to see her go to prison for it instead. He tells her how great his life is going. Kendall says she can only imagine what he did to make it happen. Just then, Jesse walks in. David says he's releasing Kendall to go back to prison, then walks off. Zach appears and Jesse asks if Kendall's double is ready to go. Zach says there is a problem. He walks in and tells Kendall that he is going to have to come forward and admit what he's done. Kendall protests - she won't let him go down for this. He says they'll both have to go to prison until Ryan can get to Annie. She asks about the kids? Zach says Erica and Ryan will care for them. Kendall suggests going on the run. Zach says no, and urges Kendall to talk to her mother - he'll take care of Ryan.
Erica goes back to Kendall's room. She listens as Kendall insists that she go to the jail and post Aidan's bail - it's to keep Zach from losing his children. Erica wants to know what's going on, but Kendall implores her to just go. Erica says she'll have Aidan there within the hour.
Aidan is brought out of his cell, protesting that he doesn't need bail posted. His lawyer tells him he's needed at Pine Valley Hospital - by Erica Kane!
At Zach's house, the impostor hollers through the door to Liza that her stitches have come open. Liza tells her to get a towel. There is no response. Liza tries again, but when she gets no answer, opens the door and goes in. The young woman is on the floor and asks for water. When Liza reaches down, the woman makes her move and heads for the door to escape. A cat fight ensues, and Liza gets a glass smashed over her head! The impostor runs.
Zach talks to Jesse in the hallway at the hospital. He thanks him for everything and asks him to join with Ryan to stay on Annie. Zach walks down the corridor and finds Ryan. He says he has a favor to ask on behalf of Kendall, the kids, and himself.
Aidan arrives at the hospital and finds Erica. She tells him she bailed him out for Kendall. Erica takes him to her room, and tells the guard that he's her lawyer. Aidan goes in and Kendall tells him that he's the only one who can help her now!
