Erica makes a big decision, Emma goes missing, and Zach gets closer to Annie!
David interrupts Amanda as she's playing with the baby at Wildwind. She informs him she won't change her son's name. He says Trevor sounds perfect. As David coos at the baby, she remarks that he's not acting like himself. David jokes that he's a changed man. He tells her she can do whatever she wants within the confines of their agreement - just keep Jake away from Wildwind and the baby.
At home, Kendall is still pressing Zach about what the future holds for them. She also asks about Liza. Zach is non-committal. There is a knock at the door - it's Liza. She and Zach launch into an argument about going through Emma to solve the mystery. Zach says he will only go through Annie, and accidentally calls Liza Kendall as they're arguing! Liza tries one more time to convince him, saying he'd be helping Emma too. Zach refuses again.
Annie and Scott awkwardly discuss why they kissed. She says it was a mistake, but he points out it wasn't the first time. She says she wouldn't mess up what she has with Adam. Scott suggests that maybe it's time he moved out. Just then, Ryan bursts into the room asking Annie what she's done with Emma?! Ryan says Emma's missing. Annie is stunned, and says she had nothing to do with this! Ryan doesn't believe her and says he's calling the police.
Jake is on the phone at the hospital. He is asking Krystal for help with David, since he won't let him see Amanda or the baby.
Erica meets with Opal and Krystal at ConFusion - they are raving about the show yesterday, and let Erica see a newspaper article about it! An executive from the studio arrives and isn't quite as enthusiastic. Erica goes to sit down with the executive, as Kendall takes a call from Jake and drags Opal out of the bar. The executive proceeds to tell Erica that New Beginnings needs to stay on track - and tells her that she'll have to issue an apology to the viewers! Erica refuses - and threatens to quit due to creative differences - she wants to take the show in a new direction. The executive tells her that they'll get a new host, and leaves!
The doorbell rings at Zach's house - it's Emma! She asks Zach if he gave her pictures to her mommy. Liza and Zach wonder if Ryan knows she is there. Emma says he doesn't - he doesn't like her talking to Zach. Emma tells Zach that her mommy says he can do anything. She wants to see her mother, but not at the Chandler Mansion - it's scary! Zach calls Ryan to let him know Emma is there.
Opal is at the hospital and David is treating her - she is claiming to have bad chest pains. She mentions that she was having lunch with Krystal, and David suddenly realizes that she faked this to get him out of the house - that's why he got a page! He tells her to get dressed and get out! David goes out into the hallway and spots Krystal. They have a confrontation about doing the Martin family wrong. He says she's as guilty of that as he is!
Jake arrives at Wildwind, where Amanda is getting the baby ready to go to the park. She tells him that David agreed to keep the baby's name. Jake pulls out a box - it's wedding rings! Jake promises again to be her husband and best friend as he places her ring on her finger. She does the same. He promises that this situation is only temporary. They kiss, but Amanda is worried about David coming back. Jake is upset that they can't be together - he wonders if she'll take the ring off when he leaves. Amanda says she won't do that, and explains that, for now, it's just easier to go along with David - he has all the power. Jake kisses her, but leaves ticked off.
Ryan arrives at Zach's to pick up Emma. He sends her out to the car, and asks Zach what is going on. Zach says she wanted to talk about her mother. Ryan wonders if he's passing messages - he denies it. After Ryan goes out the door, Liza tells Zach that Emma is about to crack - he says that's what he's worried about. Liza urges him to head over and see what he can get out of Annie now!
Back home, Ryan sends Emma up to watch a video. Erica comes to the door. She tells him that she quit because the network wanted her to apologize! He supports her decision. Erica's phone rings - it's her agent with an offer to do a different show. She's not impressed with it, though, and says she will do something else for the kids in Africa - her career can wait. Ryan says she's quite a woman and asks her out to dinner!
At the Chandler Mansion, Scott tells Annie that it's about time Ryan sees her for the woman she is now. She tells him he's a smart man, and asks if he is really going to move out. Scott says he'll stay.
At ConFusion, Erica and Ryan brainstorm ways to raise money for the children in Africa. He offers to write a big check, then asks her to dance. They dance and everyone claps - Erica says she has an idea!
Zach visits Annie at the Chandler Mansion and tells her that if she works with him, he can set up a meeting with her and Emma. She wonders why he would take that chance - he says he saw the look in Emma's eyes when she asked which drawing her mommy liked best - he'd do it for her! He tells Annie she will have to leave the house though - Emma's too scared to come there. Annie says it's because she witnessed the murder. She thinks if Emma comes there, she can calm her fears, and she asks Zach if he'll set it up!
David returns home and frantically calls out for Amanda. She appears, saying she told him she wouldn't run. David spots the wedding ring, and she asks if he has a problem with her wearing it. David angrily says that he was very clear - Jake was not to be at Wildwind! He tells Amanda that she must choose between her husband and her child!
Jake is back at the hospital, where Krystal and Opal discuss David with him. Krystal says they shouldn't anger him anymore - he gets scary! She insists they can fight him, though, after all, he didn't get Little Adam!
Liza sits on the couch at Zach's house playing with Ian. She says he must miss his mommy, and tells him he has a wonderful father - she wishes her son had a great father like Zach! She muses that maybe someday he will! Kendall stands in the background listening to every word Liza is saying!
