Amanda Agrees To Live With David!

Thursday, September 03 2009
Randi finds out where Matthew is, Marissa witnesses the contract with the devil, and Jake holds a gun to David's head.

At home, Randi joins Frankie for coffee first thing in the morning. They both didn't sleep well. She tells him that she doesn’t want to talk about Matthew. Brot arrives at their door and can feel the tension so he offers to wait outside. Frankie suggests a date later and kisses Randi goodbye.

At the police station, Jesse asks Liza what she wants him to do. He questions her on the plan to fake her baby's death. He warns her about how bad this can go for everyone involved.

Jake asks Jesse and Liza where Trevor is. Jesse assures him that the baby is in excellent foster care. Liza tells Jake that he can still have a wonderful life but he says not without Trevor. He asks for her help in putting Trevor back in Amanda’s arms. She says knowing David, she doesn’t think it will be possible.

Amanda reads the newspaper headlines and recalls her conversation with David. Tad interrupts her daydream when he opens his door to her. She walks in and hugs him telling him that she doesn’t know what to do. She explains what David wants and he assures her that she did the right thing. Krystal joins them and tells them that David has always planned to take the baby. Krystal leaves and Tad reminds Amanda that Krystal has a lot of baggage but that doesn’t mean that the same thing will happen this time.

At Wildwind, David talks and smiles on the phone about getting his child back home. Marissa joins him and he tells her Trevor’s name is now David. He tells her he’s going to make a deal with Jake and Amanda. He says it’s like a chess game, one needs patience. He says he will soon have, “Checkmate.”

At the hospital, Brot asks Frankie how Randi is doing and he tells him that she’s not doing very well. He wishes she was as comfortable talking to him as she is with Jesse. Angie joins them and tells them the meeting with David has been cancelled. She tells Frankie that the baby Randi found belongs to Amanda and David. He leaves to tell Randi before she hears this from someone else.

Natalia visits Randi at home and tells Randi that the baby is in foster care. Randi wants to get the baby out of foster care as soon as possible and tells her that the baby belongs with them.

Liza tells Jake that the D.A. doesn’t have a case without David’s testimony. He’d rather rot in a prison cell than see the baby with David. Amanda comes along and says she would too.

Krystal arrives at David’s and argues with him. She says the baby won’t be stepping a foot in his house. He tells her that the baby’s already on his way. As she berates him, he reminds her of the conspiracy that Jake and Amanda pulled off and that he said a eulogy on his dead son. David screams that the boy is his son.

Angie calls Jesse and tells him that she told Frankie who the baby’s father is. She says he didn’t take it well. He tells her not worry and that they will work through it together.

The girls are talking about how evil David is when Brot and Frankie walk in. Randi orders everyone out and throws something at the door.

Liza tells Tad, Amanda and Jake that David is willing to negotiate. Amanda wants to talk to DA Willis but Liza says no. Jake says he wants to stick around. She suggests they all head to Tad’s and that she will meet them there.

David continues to remind Krystal about all the secrets that were kept from him. He says he’s better than her. Marissa asks them to stop. David wants to be the kind of father who she never allowed him to be. Krystal goes to leave but Marissa stops her. She tells Krystal that she knows what she’s doing. David joins her and tells her that she made the right choice by siding with him.

Natalia, Brot and Frankie tell Jesse how Randi is dealing with the loss. Jesse goes in to see Randi.

Amanda laments about how Trevor will never know who she is. Jake suggests that they let David have the baby and when he gets comfortable, they walk in, take the baby and run away. She says that David would still go after them. Jake insists she lie down and relax with him. He tells her that even though things don’t seem like it right now, everything will be okay and that the three of them will be together again. Jake assures her that she will have her boys no matter what it takes.

Marissa gives David an envelope and he smiles and opens it. She hands him a pen. He signs a document and asks her to be a witness. She asks what kind of a contract it is. He says he agrees not to press charges against Jake and Amanda if they give him the baby. He tells her that Amanda would be nuts to turn down this offer. She agrees to sign it.

At ConFusion, Natalia tells Frankie that they have to let Jesse help Randi if he can. Brot suggests Randi use Frankie for support. Frankie says if Jesse can help ease Randi’s pain, that’s fine with him. Natalia gets cheesed and leaves.

Jesse tells Randi that he doesn’t want David raising the child. She asks him if he thinks that will happen and says she loves the little boy. She tells him that she can trust Frankie and him. She reminds Jesse how she killed a man and how that changes a person forever.

Tad and Liza speak to the DA at the station. He suggests they cut a deal with David. He says to take any deal they are offered and run.

When Amanda wakes up Jake has gone.

At Wildwind, Jakes bursts in and holds a gun to David, demanding he be given his family back. He tells David that he’s hurt his wife for the last time. Amanda arrives and tells them that she’s changed her mind. She agrees to move in with David.

Angie arrives to see Jesse comforting a sleeping Randi. Angie lies her head down with them too.

At Tad’s, he and Liza tell Marissa that Jake and Amanda are nowhere to be found. Krystal tells them that she can’t find them either. Marissa gives them the information about the contract. Krystal reminds them that this decision is Amanda and Jake’s.

Has anyone noticed that "Little A" is being played by a new actor. I first noticed it last Friday, he's definately a different kid.

Brot better not mess with Natalia, especially when it comes to her family...

David please please please don't name that baby David Jr.

Jake...don't do it!...we all know David is an A-hole, but thats no reason to kill the man...

oh yea and I loved that scene with Jesse, Randi, & Angie (so sweet)

David has parenting issues. His mother killed his father when he was young. Growing up without his father, this is probably one of the reaseons why he hates the Martins (Joe) & the Chandlers (Adam). His need for control I would say stems from his mother, possibly resenting his father for being weak and not standing up to her.

WOW! Call me butter because I'm on a roll baby

@ Gutface

I think 'Little A' just had a haircut and gotten taller, since we last saw him...it's the same kid

I wonder what David's blood pressure is like? One day he's going to stroke out with all the lying, and coniving he's doing. I'd be exhausted.

David is a control freak who doesn't give a damn about his children - just that they're HIS! You never hear him refer to Marissa and Babe and He and Krystal's children, just HIS kids; Little A is HIS grandson, to he** with Adam and JR; Leora was HIS daughter (did he forget about her mother, Anna?). With David, it's all about possession. I just don't understand why when Amanda found out she was pregnant, she didn't just start lining up character witnesses then and there. With David's criminal history, and the number of enemies he made in PV, it would have been a snap. And as a Plan B, there's always Mama Janet, who I think should be brought on board now. She'd fix David's Little Red Wagon. And his little dog too.

HipHop, I think David grew up with this mine, mine, mine thing because was an only child and his disregard(for lack of a better term) toward his kids mom goes back to his mother possibly not loving or mother-ish enough to suite him. Oops, did I do it again! What's in this Coca-Cola.

beenaroundalongtime....David's father committed suicide. Vanessa did not kill him, but David always blamed Vanessa for his death.
