Amanda searches the hospital for her child, Frankie realizes the baby is very ill, David confronts Liza and Zach, Kendall tries to come to terms with the affair and JR deals with his anger.
At the casino Frankie confronts Madison about the blackmailing scheme. He tells her to back off and leave Randi alone but she refuses, saying she needs money now and not later! He says he has no money to give her but she won't listen and tells him to get her some cash or Randi will be modeling prison orange very soon. He still refuses and tells her to leave his family alone. "It's not personal, just business," she says and then implies she can be compensated with sex instead of cash! Randi calls and begs Frankie to come home because the baby is very sick. She and Natalia are at the end of their rope. Frankie instructs her to take the kiddo to the hospital and he'll meet them.
At the hospital Jake tells Tad he is to blame for Amanda's missing child. He vows to come clean on everything but Tad tells him not to risk his future. He says they'll find another way.
Kendall tells Zach to prove he still loves her by coming to bed. He says that won't prove a thing! She confronts him about sleeping with Liza and says he isn't playing fair – and if he can have affairs, so can she! "How much longer do you want to shove this woman in my face?" she rages. Zach tells her to calm down because she's overreacting to Liza being his attorney. He leaves, telling Kendall to get back to work on her book. Kendall daydreams about Zach and Liza and starts writing about their affair in the casino. She deletes the file and starts over, this time Zach says he loves Liza. Kendall deletes that file, too, and starts again. Zach approaches Liza and without speaking they begin making love. Kendall still can't figure out why Zach slept with Liza. She begins writing again and this time places blame for the incident entirely on Liza! She imagines Zach returning – and telling her that he is leaving her for Liza! Kendall deletes that scene, too, and rewrites it. This time Zach asks for her forgiveness and she gives it to him. They kiss.
In her hospital room, David tells Liza that Zach lied to her about the head injury! She doesn't believe him but David keeps pushing her, saying someone else inflicted her injury. She won't listen but lets her affair with Zach slip out. David jumps on the information so Liza backtracks, insisting she only kissed Zach and has too much on her plate to have a full-fledged affair. He suggests Adam may have hit her but she doesn't believe that either. David spots Zach down the hall and tells him to get out. Zach asks about Liza. David says she is under observation and confronts Zach about her injuries. He suggests that Zach hit Liza; Zach tells him to call the cops and goes into Liza's room. She backs away from him and Zach convinces her that a door really did fall on her head. He leaves. Jake and Tad come in. Jake beats himself up for the baby switch; Liza and Tad try reassuring him. She thanks Jake for giving her a son and says he'll find Amanda's baby, too.
Jake hurries to Amanda's room but she isn't there.
On the fourth floor of the hospital Natalia waits for Frankie. She finally finds him but a nurse sees them together and watches. He goes into the room with Randi and the baby and checks the kiddo over. Frankie realizes the baby has a viral fever. He goes into the hall where Natalia insists they have to find the baby's real parents. She leaves for the police station after Frankie thanks her for sticking with Randi. She tells him not to let Randi get too attached.
Amanda wanders the hospital halls, hearing a baby crying. "I'm coming. Mommy's coming," she says weakly. She makes it to the fourth floor and sees the baby through the window. She tries to get in but the door is locked. She runs to find Jake! She sees a nurse, but the nurse doesn't know where Jake is. Amanda runs to her room and Jake is there. She tells him she found Trevor – and drags him back down the hall.
Frankie returns to the fourth floor and Randi says they have to leave – because Amanda just found them!
At Wildwind, JR kisses Marissa! She pulls away, asking him what is going on with him. JR refuses to explain. She reaches out to him and JR begins to open up, saying he is tired of being an angry guy who wastes time being mad. He brings up Babe, wondering how different things would have been if he could have let go of his anger. "She's gone and the anger is back, stronger than ever," he says. Marissa insists he is a different man now but he can't believe her. He takes her in his arms, saying he wants her but then pushes away. He sadly says he has no future. Marissa tries showing him how good he can be.
