Opal lets loose, Tad tells Liza the truth, and Jesse comes clean with his wife and son!
Colby and Petey are babysitting Stuart in Liza's room. The baby burps up on Petey's shoulder. Liza comes in and takes Stuart, then notices a large bouquet of flowers. Colby says they're from David. Colby answers the phone - it's David, wondering if the delivery of flowers arrived yet. Colby says they did, but Liza doesn't want to speak to him. He says he'll be over in twenty minutes.
At the hospital, Taylor tells Tad that she found out no abandoned babies have been turned in there - she posed as a reporter. Taylor is worried a stranger picked up the baby, but Tad is sure it's David. He calls Jake, who says they haven't found out anything in Massachusetts yet. As Tad chats, Taylor spots David, who is talking to Colby, and hears him ask if the delivery arrived, and say he'll be there in twenty minutes. She tells Tad what she heard and he takes off, sending Taylor in to tell Opal the latest. Opal beats herself up over not standing up to Joe and getting to the baby when she was supposed to! Taylor says she's worried about the baby too. Opal probes about Taylor and Tad, and asks to see her palm. She then tells Taylor she's an amazing woman, and advises her to stay true to herself - wonderful things are in store!
In the room, Randi pleads with Natalia not to take the baby away from her. Natalia says the authorities won't let her keep that baby - it just doesn't work like that! She says the little boy has parents out there somewhere, and it's not a good idea for her to get attached. Randi needs to feel him just a little while longer, besides, she might be wrong about the parents. Randi says she won't do anything that is against the law, and she plans on getting Frankie on board with this. She tells the baby to say thank you to Auntie Natalia!
Frankie bursts into Jesse's office and asks if it's true - did Randi kill Henry North? Angie and Frankie gape as Jesse says it is true - she killed him - and he helped cover it up! He says that what happened was not Randi's fault - she got caught up in something that went out of control. Jesse tells them the whole story. Frankie is outraged that Jesse didn't tell him that North tried to rape his wife! Jesse says everything he did was to protect Randi and their baby! Angie asks how he came to be there, and Jesse explains. He also describes the cover up. Frankie wonders why he didn't just tell the DC police that it was self-defense. Jesse says it was his first instinct, but he was worried about Randi's past coming into it. Angie says he made a decision to lie - even to them. Jesse claims he did what he had to protect his family. Frankie rails that he and Randi shut him out completely, and now they could both go away for a long time! Angie concedes that Jesse did what he thought was best, but Frankie is still miffed that he and Randi didn't tell him about any of this. Frankie then says that Madison North is the one who told him. Jesse says she knows everything. He explains Madison's connection. Frankie realizes that Madison's been torturing Randi. Frankie says they need to find Randi. Jesse says one of her credit cards was traced to a hotel - he sent someone to check it out.
David arrives at Liza's place. She opens the door and says she thought he'd get the hint from Colby - she doesn't want to see him. He asks if she liked the flowers - she shows how she displayed them - in the trash can! David apologizes for his behavior the last time he was there, and reiterates that he was there to see her, not her son. Liza says no matter, he was right anyway - she's incapable of loving anyone! David chirps about Liza's finer points, saying that the room comes alive when she walks into it. She says, "Smooooth, doctor. Very smooth." He wonders if maybe she just hasn't met the right man. Liza says it's late, and his apology is accepted. David leaves.
Liza gets another knock on her door soon after David has left. It's Tad asking what David's visit was about? He admits he was following David. Liza asks if this has to do with Stuart - does David know the truth - that he is Amanda's baby? Tad says no, quite the opposite. He then tells her that Stuart is not David and Amanda's baby! Tad says that as her friend, he owes her the truth - he then tells it. Liza asks who the birth parents are then? Tad says he has no idea - it was a private adoption. Tad tells the tale up to the point where Amanda's baby went missing. Liza is aghast that the child has disappeared. Tad then asks what David was doing there. She says David hit on her and she told him she wasn't interested. Tad tells her he's worried that David has Trevor. Tad warns that this has to be kept quiet, and Liza offers to help. Tad suggests that if David has the baby, it would help to have someone get close to him. Liza says if it helps get the baby back, she'll do it. When Tad leaves, Liza is thrilled that her baby is really hers - no one is going to take him away!
At the hotel where Randi was staying the owner lets two policemen into her room. It's empty. Randi, Natalia, and the baby are gone!
Angie and Jesse arrive home, discussing Randi's whereabouts. Jesse says she couldn't be far, they just missed her at the motel. They argue about his keeping a secret from her and Frankie. She says she understands his reasons for what he did, but not him keeping it from her - he promised no more secrets! Jesse says he thought he was keeping them all safe. Angie would rather risk going to jail then destroy the trust between them! They embrace as Angie says they have to focus on their family now!
Randi and Natalia come into Randi's house with the baby. Randi shouts for Frankie, and Natalia says he's probably out looking for her. She says she's going to the station to check for missing baby reports and will see her soon. Frankie gets home, and he tells Randi that he found out what happened with Henry North. They embrace, and the baby starts crying. Frankie asks, "What's that?" Randi replies, "Our baby."
Opal is checking out of the hospital when David saunters in. He asks if Amanda is picking her up, and Opal snaps, telling him to zip it and leave Amanda alone to get on with her life. David says he lost a child too. Opal asks why anyone would care about his feelings when he's never considered anyone else's feelings! Petey comes to pick her up and Opal is short with him after dealing with David.
In the hospital corridor, Tad and Taylor argue about whether or not to go to the police. Tad says they can't! Around the corner, Natalia makes a phone call to the station to see if there have been any missing babies reported!
