Kendall gives up, Tad slips, and Liza quits!

Tad and Taylor are in Confusion. Tad says they need to get back to the baby, and Krystal overhears. She asks, "What baby?" Tad struggles to cover up, saying he meant they have to get home to "My Baby," which is his and Taylor's favorite country song. He keeps babbling - even telling jokes - as Krystal narrows her eyes suspiciously.

Jake and Amanda are at Taylor's house playing with the baby. Amanda refers to him as 'our son', and Jake says he likes the sound of that! They cuddle and coo over Trevor. Amanda takes the baby to put him down for a nap, and worries to Jake that Taylor and Tad should have been back by now!

Annie is back at the Chandler Mansion, where Adam is groveling for not believing her yet again, and asks if she could possibly forgive him. Just as they're getting close, Scott arrives, wondering why Adam called him over. Adam announces he wants him to move in! He explains that Scott is trustworthy, and he cares about Annie - they both need him! Adam leaves the room, and Annie asks Scott if he's going to move in - it could be fun, they could make popcorn, watch movies, even give each other massages! Scott gapes, asking, "Are you coming on to me?" Annie assures him that she's in love with Adam, effectively turning it around on him and embarrassing him. Adam returns, and Scott says he'll think about moving in. After he leaves, Annie kisses Adam. He sends her to the bedroom to see a surprise, then instructs one of the staff to do what they need to do.

At the courthouse, Liza tells Jesse she had no part in Kendall's escape - she thought they would win in court. Jesse scoffs that winning is pretty much out the window! When he leaves, Liza has a fit and smashes David in the jaw when he walks into the room. Liza tells him that Kendall took off on her! They discuss Adam working the law, and Liza says that's what she did to her, and that's why Kendall's life is a mess - because of Adam and that crazy Annie!

In the alley, Ryan and Zach both tell Kendall that she's got to go. She leaves the boys with their fathers and goes. Just then the police arrive. Ryan and Zach put their hands up! Jesse gets there and confronts them - he says they are accomplices and notes that he'll have to see this through or someone else will! The cops head out to search for Kendall. As Ryan distracts the cop left to watch them, Zach hides behind him and checks in with his source, who says the marina is crawling with cops. Zach tells Ryan they have a problem.

JR is down at the boat dock with Little Adam when Marissa appears. She tells him that Kendall escaped. JR says, "Good!" They discuss Adam, who JR says is being played. Marissa thinks he's mad because Annie moved back in and he misses his father! JR says that he is scared he and Little Adam will end up like him and his father. Marissa doesn't think that will happen - he's a great dad who puts his son first. JR suddenly notices the police, and Marissa excuses herself.

In the high grass near the docks at the Yacht Club, Kendall hides and looks out toward the boat where she's supposed to be. She makes it to the boat, but the cops stop the captain from putting out to sea before they can get going. Beside the boat, Marissa asks Natalia if they're looking for Kendall. Before Natalia can respond, Kendall jumps out saying she gives up! Natalia cuffs her!

Still at Confusion, Tad and Taylor are keeping the country music jokes coming as Krystal listens. David walks in and takes in the scene. Tad drags Taylor onto the dance floor where she hisses at him that David walked in. Jake strides in and tells Taylor and Tad that they need to get going. David takes this all in.

As Jesse scolds Zach and Ryan at the police station, Natalia brings Kendall in, saying she surrendered at the marina! Liza arrives, and she and Kendall sit down with Jesse. Kendall tells him she never saw Zach and Ryan whatsoever. Jesse says there is no need to question innocent men then. He wants Kendall to go back to her cell, but she asks to talk to Zach! He allows it briefly. Kendall tells Zach she couldn't go through with it, and says she loves him. Kendall goes back to the cell, and Ryan asks Jesse if he can go down to talk to her. Jesse agrees, and then turns to Natalia, telling her he is proud. She notes that it feels like Jesse has one foot outside the law. He dismisses her concern.

Scott arrives at Confusion and sees Marissa and JR. He and JR get into it again about Annie - Scott accuses JR of being the one who tried to set her up. He tells him that Adam asked him to move in. JR sneers his congratulations - Adam obviously considers Scott the son he never had! Scott leaves after they trade a few more barbs, and Marissa is disgusted with JR - she leaves too. David saunters over and says that Adam is far better off with Scott. JR glares.

Tad, Taylor, and Jake get back to Taylor's where Amanda is waiting. They debate Tad's slip-up at Confusion in front of Krystal. Jake angrily tells Tad that it could have cost them Trevor! Jake and Amanda leave, and Tad kisses Taylor soundly before he too goes home!

Annie comes downstairs in a beautiful dress, to find Adam in the parlor with the room full of lit candles. He offers her the rose he is holding and tells her he didn't think he would fall in love again. He tells Annie she is his life, and proposes!

Ryan speaks to Kendall in the jail cell, telling her that Liza is on this, and she'll be out before she knows it. Ryan gives her a pep talk, saying that Ian fought back - he's alive - now it's her turn to fight! After he leaves, Kendall keeps hearing Stuart's voice telling her that she killed him! She screams out that she can't do this - she can't fight! The police call for Jesse, who is followed to the cell by Ryan. They stare as Kendall shouts a full confession, saying, "I did it! I killed him! I murdered Stuart Chandler!"

At home, Zach asks Liza what their strategy is going to be. Liza scoffs at the idea that there would be a strategy, and says that she quits! Zach persuades Liza not to quit - this is about Kendall going to prison for life!

David joins Krystal at the bar at Confusion. He asks her about how she feels seeing Tad with Taylor. Krystal shrugs and says they dance, kiss, even have their own song, "Gotta' Get Back to My Baby!" David looks at her sharply!
