All My Children - DAILY UPDATES

Tad goes to the hospital to find Angie; she says she has looked for Krystal everywhere but can't find her. Tad says this isn't like Krystal but Angie tells him that Krystal probably just needs to clear her head. Tad doesn't believe her; Angie suggests he have Jesse put out a call for her and returns to her patients.

Jake hears Taylor talking to Brot in his hospital room. She angrily says he should have trusted her to help him and love him; Jake walks away. Brot says again that he doesn't love her but Taylor doesn't believe him. "I'm not leaving," she says. Brot takes the IV from his arm and gets out of bed so he can leave. He collapses at the end of the bed and Taylor calls for help. Angie checks over Brot and says he has an infection, which can be serious because of his burns. Taylor blames herself and tells Angie about what has been going on. Angie is understanding and says it will take time but things will improve. Brot is brought back in but won't look at Taylor. He tells Taylor to leave but she won't go. She says the Brot she knew wasn't a coward; he says the Brot she knew is dead. Angie returns to take Brot to radiology. Taylor sadly wheels herself out of the way while Angie and an orderly get Brot ready. When Brot is gone, Angie tells Taylor that it will get easier. Taylor holds Brot's jacket, smells it and is about to put it away when she feels the ring box. Her engagement ring is inside.

At Wildwind, David instructs Krystal on some deep breathing exercises. She becomes tired and he drugs her milk even more. He tells her to open her eyes and then gives her more milk. More relaxed, she thanks him for being there. He stokes the fire and suggests she call Tad but Krystal doesn't want to. She says she can't go back home because of the pressures there. "All my life it was Babe and me. I don't know how I can do this on my own," she says. David says she has friends and family to help her but then says Tad is misguided in his attempts to help her. Krystal says Tad doesn't know her! She says she loves Tad but that her love for Tad isn't close to what she felt for Adam. David asks if she misses the thrill of being with Adam; Krystal says Adam can't be trusted and won't talk about him. She keeps repeating that she loves Tad. She says she is tired and David tells her to rest. Amanda arrives and David says he ran into Krystal at the cemetery and there is nothing going on. Amanda thinks he is manipulating Krystal so that he can have Little A! David tells her to focus on her part of the deal – JR! – and pushes her out the door. He goes back to Krystal to make her more comfortable. She says she has to go.

Annie attacks Aidan in her room. She yells that she won't let Greenlee kill her. Jesse arrives as two security guards do; she says Greenlee sent Aidan there to kill her! Jesse tells Annie to calm down and when the doctor arrives calls for Ryan. The doctor has her put in restraints and then tells Jesse and Aidan they can't just drop in to see Annie. Aidan says it won't happen again. Jesse turns on him and asks how he got in. Aidan says he used his military skills to get in. Jesse accuses him of trying to hurt Annie so that his secrets will be safe! Aidan says he has no secrets and tells Jesse he'll tell him everything – if Jesse polygraphs him! They leave. A nurse brings Annie back later; she sings "Silent Night" and thinks about Ryan. Then she imagines Greenlee dead on a gurney!

Ryan thanks Greenlee for the tree. She says they can be friends without their feelings getting in the way. Emma comes downstairs, unable to sleep. She spots the tree and Greenlee says it is for her. Emma asks if they can decorate it and Ryan gives in to her and pulls out the decorations. In one box Greenlee finds a green butterfly ornament; Ryan says it is Emma's. Greenlee asks her where to hang it but Emma is asleep. Ryan asks Greenlee to stay but she leaves. Jack arrives a while later; Ryan says he and Greenlee aren't starting up again. Jack says he knows Ryan won't stay away from Greens for long because Greenlee still loves him and always will. Ryan says it doesn't matter because of what happened with Annie and Emma. He tells Jack that Annie is going to be committed and then asks Jack to help him divorce Annie! Jack says he will. Ryan says he will always love Greenlee. "That's what worries me," Jack says and leaves.

Greenlee goes to the boathouse and runs into Jake. Neither wants to talk about their problems. Jake offers a lame joke and Greenlee returns the favor; soon both are laughing. Greenlee starts to cry so Jake sits with her. She tells him about Ryan and Annie; he tells her about Taylor and Brot and says Brot still loves Taylor. "He needs her more than I ever will," he says. She says his story wins. Jake is called back to the hospital. He asks if she will be okay. "Do I have a choice?" she asks and he leaves. Aidan arrives and tells Greenlee about the polygraph; he tells her to pass that along to Ryan. Greenlee says she won't see Ryan because they aren't seeing one another. Aidan laughs smugly and says, "Don't come crawling back to me, because I don't want you, either!" It begins to snow.

Jesse and Aidan get to the police department; Tad is waiting and says he still can't find Krystal. Aidan asks where Krystal might have gone. Tad is worried but says he can't keep looking because of the kids. Jesse says he'll take care of it and sends Tad home. He leaves. Tad asks what is going on; Aidan says Jesse is trying to frame him for Di's murder and Annie's kidnapping of Emma. Jesse returns and Tad says he is wasting his time because Aidan isn't guilty of anything. Jesse says they don't know that; Tad asks Jesse to remember that Aidan is one of the good guys. Jesse takes Aidan into an interrogation room where a detective with a lie detector is waiting. The questions begin; the detective asks why Aidan helped Annie; he says he did it to protect Emma. The detective says Aidan answered all of the questions honestly and Aidan leaves. Jesse calls Tad and says they found Krystal's car near the mausoleum.

David and Krystal are near the mausoleum when Tad arrives; she tells him to go before Tad sees him. David says he will always be there for her and leaves. Tad apologizes for Kathy getting carried away with the decorations; Krystal says it is okay. Tad offers to take Kathy to Joe and Ruth's if Christmas is too much; Krystal says they can get through this together. David watches from the hedges. It begins to snow.
