JR Fights for His Life

• Josh helps keep JR alive until the ambulance arrives.
• Both Annie and Dixie are upset about what the DNA results will be.
• Adam lashes out at Babe.

Ryan is napping when Annie awaken him. She is worrying that Emma just might be Tad's child. Perhaps he was her sperm donor? Could that be the reason why Tad's DNA matches Emma's? Emma wakes up and says she was having a dream about her "other mommy."

Annie is upset by this, and after Emma is put back to bed, begins to wonder if her memories about Emma's birth can be trusted. Maybe it is possible that her baby died and Madden gave her Tad and Dixie's daughter? Ryan does his best to convince her not to second-guess herself. While discussing the definition of chimera, they discover the rare medical condition of "chimeraism."

Dixie's having nightmares about Emma/Kate. She tells Di about how guilty she feels over what she did to Tad. Did she drive Tad to torture Greg Madden? Now Greg is in her mind every night—is this punishment?

Di assures her that they all make mistakes—that doesn't mean that they have to suffer forever. Dixie's going to find Kate and she will have a happy life. Dixie tells Di about her agreement with Annie to allow Kate to live with her—and Di thinks this is a terrible idea.

Tad and Zach are gambling at the casino—he tells Zach about the upcoming DNA test. Tad is deeply upset and worried about the future.


Adam's world is collapsing around him. Who can he trust?

Bianca calls 911 about JR's jump; Erica and Josh are standing over his motionless body in the alley. He needs a doctor—so Josh begins to help him. He's bleeding out as the EMT's arrive—Josh insists he has to operate on JR right now—in the alley—or he will die! He performs emergency surgery, and then JR is rushed to the ER. The policBabe admits to Adam that she told JR about her Josh tryst. He's very angry and accuses her of ruining JR's life, and being motivated by money. He's getting angrier and angrier—when Jeff walks in, and tells him to shut up. Jeff is looking for Josh.

The police arrive to question Bianca and Erica.

Bianca is in a daze—how could this happen? Should she have let JR leave the room when he wanted to live? Erica tries to convince her that it's not her fault and that JR will no longer do damage to her family.

Erica is shaken by the fact that they could have lost Josh a second time, and Jeff comforts her.

Josh is back in his room, reliving the horrible events of that evening.


Adam and Babe see a blood-covered Josh, who tells them all that has happened. Josh tries to convince Babe that this demonstrates what JR is capable of—but she is unwilling to listen.


Adam is in JR's hospital room as they prep him for surgery. He tells JR how much they love him. Bianca runs into Babe and Adam there—he asks her what the hell she did to JR? She explains that she's sorry about what happened—but it's not her fault. Babe wants to know if JR threatened her and how this happened.

Di finally convinces Dixie to go back to sleep, and she does, but she is awakened by a phone call from Adam telling her about the accident.


NEXT on AMC:



• Everyone is gathered at Pine Valley Hospital to wait for JR to come out of surgery, and tempers are on edge.

I feel sorry for Babe. What she did was wrong , but that's what happens when a husband trys to kill his wife! Jr ended up in the er becuase of himself. Nobody forced him to drink or throw himself out of the window. He's an adult. Every adult is responsible for their own actions. Josh did the right thing though, saving Jr. Babe is going to need Josh more than ever. If you saw tomorrow's sneak peek , everyone is going to throw their temper at Babe and I mean everyone. Kanes,Martins, Chandlers, excpet for Bianca, Josh and Krystral. Josh is going to get knock-out by Adam. Babe is going to be torn, confuse and afraid. Josh is probably the only one that can save her from being completely thrown down. But it gets me that when Jr try to kill her, she barley got any support. But when she hurts Jr by cheating, everybody gives him support. That's not right! What Jr try to do was unforgivable!

I hate the fact that not to long ago we seen someone else fall out a hotel window and with the same cast involed. I hope this does not lead Babe into josh's arms I hope this just brings Babe and JR closer together.

Josh did the right thing, as a doctor in, saving Jr.'s life before, the paramedics arrived. But, as the man that, is in love with Babe, he did the wrong thing. He could have let Jr. die right there. But, to prove to Babe that, he loves her, he saved her husband's life. No one should be upset with Babe. She did nothing wrong. Jr. was the one that, decided to jump out of the window. Jr. was the one that, decided that, he wanted to get back on the wagon. He is an adult and, he did an adult decision by, trying to take his own life. But, Babe has done some horrible things in her day. And, I still don't care too much for her. But, it was Jr.'s fault why, she fell into the arms of Josh. He played that disk at the Confusion opening about, Josh being Erica's son when, Babe begged him not to. When Colby went missing, he pushed her away when, she was trying to be there for him. He is so use to, hiding his feelings from her and, Josh tells her, exactly what he is feeling at that moment. So, she would rather be with someone that, is not going to keep their feelings to themselves instead of, holding them back from her. And, that is the kind of love that, she has with Josh. She loves him and, he loves her. Hell, the man tried to kill her and, she still took him back. Enough is enough with this, Babe/Jr. thing. She needs to forget about Jr. and move on with her life before, Jr. heals up and, tries to kill her again. Only this time, he is going to succeed.

Eagles123, I feel sorry for Babe as well. And, no one should be upset with her. She did nothing wrong. She did what, most married women and men does when, their marriage is beyond saving, they go to the one that, loves them unconditionally. Babe knows that, Josh would bend over backwards for her. But, she is trying too hard to save something that, is not there anymore. Jr. never really trusted Babe. She lied and said that, Miranda was their daughter and that, their son was dead when, she left town with him. And, she was in love with Jamie at that time. But, that was only to stick it to Jr. But, she is really in love with Josh. And, if she learns anything from this, she better divorce Jr. while, he is still laying up in that hospital and, leave with Josh. That job in Switzerland is still open for him and, they could all leave. Jr. does not need to be with a woman. He does not know how to treat them. No alcoholic knows how to treat the woman that they love. Take it from someone that, is living with one right now. They are never going to change. That is something that, they will never do. I just wish that, I could go on there and, tell Babe myself on, what she is dealing with. I have taken my boyfriend back so many times when, he says that, he is going to stop drinking that, it has made me hate to look at him. Four years of it, is enough. And, three years of it with Babe and Jr., is enough as well. She needs to move on with her life. And, leave Jr. the hell alone.

I feel sorry for Babe too. She was only trying to be honest and get the lies out in the open for a fresh start. She should've known JR would go off the deep end. It just proves that he will never change...whenever something bad happens, he'll turn back into that vicious drunk man that will hurt anyone in his path, including the people he supposedly loves. I saw the coming attractions for today's show and it looks like another Babe and Josh bashing at the hospital. Just leave them alone! Josh went above and beyond to save JR's life, can't Adam be thankful for once in his life??? By the way, get rid of that Bratty Colby!
