Petey gets a strange email from Greenlee, Kendall forgets about Zach, Ryan gets drunk, Reese gets into an accident and Krystal agrees to keep Amanda's secret.
At the benefit Adam finds Reese about to leave and stops her. He tells her to stand up for herself and stop running from the Kane women. She refuses. Amanda hurries away from Krystal and then confronts Jake and Frankie, telling them that Krystal overheard them and knows the truth! David corners Krystal, who tells him that someone took her drink with the pills in it. Tad takes her aside and tries to talk to her but she hurries away. Adam goes straight to Kendall and Erica and tells them Reese is leaving town for good. "Happy now?" he asks. David retakes the podium and starts talking about Babe. Listening, Amanda gets teary and so does JR. David introduces Kendall and brings her to the podium. She thanks the doctors for saving her life and bringing her back to her mother and sons; she doesn't mention Zach. Kendall makes a huge donation in Greenlee's name and when she gets emotional, Erica takes over, encouraging everyone to join in by donating to the American Heart Association. Erica calms Kendall, saying she couldn't have saved Greenlee's life. Frankie tells Randi she did a great job on the benefit but she is very worried about David finding out her secret. Frankie says he'll deal with David. Taylor and Brot arrive. Jake can't take his eyes off of Taylor and Tad can't stop watching Krystal. David introduces Brot to two executives from the Campbell's company. Brot makes a quick exit, telling Taylor that he is tired of David trotting him out as the 'wounded veteran'; he just wants to be a regular hospital employee. Taylor doesn't understand, which annoys Brot. He tells her to get used to his attitude and walks off. Tad goes to Taylor and offers to talk. Adam goes to JR and tries to make nice but then ruins it by telling JR not to give too much money to David's hospital wing and not to give anything to Amanda!
Petey arrives at the Chandler mansion and sees Colby. He asks for Adam but he has gone to the benefit. Petey says he has to talk to someone – because Greenlee just contacted him! He says an email from the day Greens was killed just arrived in his inbox and boots up his computer. The email shows that Erica lost all of Adam's money! Colby gets very worried about her family and their money problems. Petey promises he'll take care of her if things get too bad. Colby runs upstairs.
Amanda corners Krystal and tries to convince her that she misunderstood Jake and Frankie. Krystal doesn't buy it and Amanda gives in. She begs Krystal not to tell David the truth. She accuses Amanda of using JR for his money; she insists JR is only protecting the baby from David so that he doesn't ruin the baby's life. Krystal doesn't believe Amanda's accusations, even when Amanda says David is still after Little A! Jake comes over and backs up Amanda, saying the minute David finds out there is a Hayward bun in the oven he'll drop Krystal like a hot potato! Kendall goes to Zach and finally realizes she didn't mention him in her speech. He says he isn't surprised – because she still hasn't come back to him! He leaves for the casino. Kendall tells Erica things are falling apart. Tad sits down with Taylor, who is upset that she doesn't understand where Brot is coming from. Tad advises her to give Brot time and space because they are rebuilding their trust and love. Krystal finally agrees to keep Amanda's secret but says she is only doing it because the baby is keeping JR from drinking! She makes them promise JR will never know the truth. JR waves at Amanda from across the room. JR joins them as Krystal leaves. Amanda says they were talking about cravings and water weight. He says they can leave soon and goes to see Kendall. David corners Amanda, reminding her again of her deal and obligations. She hands him a check – for the same amount that he gave her! David says this doesn't change anything. JR thanks Kendall for the donation. She leaves the benefit and Erica follows. Kendall says she is going after Zach! Erica and David chat about the benefit and then he turns to watch Amanda with Jake.
Taylor goes to the roof, where Brot is. She apologizes for not understanding him and he apologizes for being so rough. She says he gives her hope every day that he is around. Brot kisses her.
Reese returns to the Casino and runs into Ryan, who wonders why Erica and Kendall haven't chewed her up by now. Reese tells him she is leaving town and he offers her a drink, telling her to stay away; she refuses. Ryan is very tipsy and starts talking about the changes he is going to make when the casino is his. "I'm going to steal it," he says. He runs down Zach's list of crimes and the people he has hurt, swearing that all of this is payback. Reese asks what he would do if Kendall were driving and not Zach; Ryan says it wouldn't matter because the accident would still be Zach's fault! He tells Reese she is just like Zach; she walks away. A worker brings her back a few minutes later; she has run into a tree! Ryan makes fun of her until Adam walks in and takes over. He tells Ryan to back off; Ryan sarcastically says Reese is a lesbian and Adam won't even get a kiss! Zach gets to the casino as Ryan orders even more drinks. He says Adam has beaten Zach to Reese's door. He makes a joke of Reese's accident, annoying Zach. Then Ryan mentions Reese's questions about the accident and says none of it matters because he is still taking Zach down. Zach fills Ryan's glass and says he isn't sober enough. He leaves. One of Zach's bouncers tries to toss Ryan out but Kendall stops them. Ryan says Zach was just there but is chasing after Reese now. She asks why he is doing this and he says she deserves the truth for once! Then, he tells her his plans to steal the casino and throws his drink at the wall!
Adam takes Reese to the mansion and cleans her up as she wonders what happened to make her hit the tree. Adam is friendly toward her as she wonders why everyone hates her instead of Kendall. She says Kendall was driving the car – not Zach! Adam tries to convince her to tell the truth but she refuses, saying it would only hurt Zach. She begs him not to tell the truth and Adam goes off on a tangent about Zach taking Chandler Enterprises from him. Seeing how upset she is, he says he'll keep her secret. Zach arrives.
