Colby sticks up for Petey, Erica and Carmen fight, Greenlee admits her true feelings, Aidan threatens himself and Kendall and Zach finally move forward.
Kendall can't believe that Annie killed Richie and Zach knew but didn't tell her. Annie says he blackmailed her and Kendall threatens to call the cops. Zach grabs the phone. Annie says she was forced into it and then says if Kendall turns her in she will swear under oath that Zach was in on the killing with her! Kendall grabs for Annie but Zach stops her again. Annie digs at Kendall but Zach turns on her, saying she had better watch out or he'll take care of her for good! He tells her to get out; Annie leaves. Zach says he did what he did for Emma, which touches Kendall's heart. "A child needs a mother," he says emotionally. Kendall hugs him, realizing finally that Emma is the age Zach was when he lost his mother. Kendall tells him about her day and the FDA rummaging through their files. She wonders if there is a future for the company. Kendall turns from the window to find the room bathed in candlelight and two glasses of wine in his hands. She tells him that Greenlee and Aidan are through. "She reminded me of what I have and that I shouldn't take it for granted," Kendall says and apologizes for not spending more time with him lately. She kisses him and they make love. After, Kendall tells Zach she owes him 48 hours and she is ready for him to collect!
At Fusion, Erica smugly tells Jack he still loves her. Carmen walks in and Jack mentions their dinner plans. Erica leaves. Carmen tells Jack he still loves Erica and walks out.
At the Chandler mansion, Adam threatens to have Petey jailed because of the Bella fiasco but Colby interrupts, saying that if Adam turns in Petey she'll turn in Adam! Adam can't believe she is siding with Pete; Colby drags Petey away. Adam goes to Barry in the sitting room and tells him to get Babe and JR back in Pine Valley right away. Barry walks out. Erica comes in and tells him that he has to start living his own life rather than relying on his children to create a life for him. Adam says he'll consider her pleas. Erica notices the papers and asks about the lawsuit, saying again that Fusion has been mismanaged for a long time. Adam asks if she is considering a takeover. Erica says they have to come up with another solution. Adam says doing in Fusion isn't his intention and then asks if she'll have dinner with him. She accepts and then goes to freshen up. Carmen walks in and demands to know what was going on at Fusion. She accuses Erica of using her! "You pounced on my husband!" Erica exclaims. Carmen reminds Erica that she asked time and again if she was okay with all of this; Erica says she crossed the line but Carmen insists Erica shoved her over it! She says Erica is disgusting for using her. "I don't need money and I don't need you," Carmen says. Erica says Carmen is no better than Mondo; Carmen can't take it anymore and starts spewing Spanish at Erica. Erica doesn't understand a word she says. Carmen grabs her and they wrestle until Erica rips Carmen's dress apart! Adam interrupts, calms them down and then fires Carmen! "We are done," Erica says as Carmen walks out. Erica goes to freshen up as Barry calls Adam. He says they are ready to move forward.
At the penthouse, Greenlee walks in the door and stops cold. "Isn't this cozy?" Aidan asks, waving the gun around. He pours a drink and sits down to ask Ryan what his woman secret is. He brings up his hold on Kendall, Annie and Greenlee. Greens begs him to put the gun away but Aidan won't. He takes the gun - and tells Ryan to kill him! "I'm already dead. You killed me," he says, staring Greenlee down. She tries to get him to leave with her so they can talk but Aidan angrily pushes her away, telling her not to ever touch him again. He wishes Ryan and Greenlee the best and walks out. Ryan can't believe what Aidan did; Greenlee says they are responsible for everything from Aidan to Annie. She finally admits she still loves him but then grabs her bag to leave. Ryan stops her and begs her to say it again. "I love you, Ryan," she whispers. He holds her and says this isn't their fault. He says all he has ever wanted was her. They kiss but Greens pulls away and says she won't go through this again.
In San Diego, JR and Babe are relaxing. A bellman brings in sparkling cider and JR tells Babe he has booked the same minister to marry them at the same time on the same pier - tomorrow night! Babe says this is perfect as her dress arrives. Another worker brings in flowers and then another brings in rings but Babe says they already have the perfect rings. She digs into her bag and pulls out their old wedding rings; she says these are the rings they should wear forever. JR says how happy he is with their life now. Babe says she wants more children as soon as possible. JR kisses her. A deliveryman brings by court papers ordering both of them to return to Pine Valley!
With nowhere else to go, Annie goes to the boathouse. Corrinna and Emma are there and Annie angrily asks why Emma was alone for a moment. She tells Corrinna to keep her eyes on Emma at all times. Corrinna tells Annie to get away from Emma or she'll have to call Ryan! Annie says Emma is her child; Corrinna apologizes and says those are her orders. Not wanting to upset Emma, Annie hugs her and says she'll see her soon. Corrinna takes Emma away. Annie turns to go, hears a noise but then hurries away.
Colby and Petey arrive at Opal's. Petey is very excited that Colby stood up for him. Colby notices the doorbell is ringing incessantly but no one is at the door. Opal walks up, looking very strange with her hair in rollers. She tells them about her latest dream - loud sirens and fog and no one around. She says the doorbell has been ringing ever since and this is another omen. Petey jiggles the doorbell but it keeps ringing. He tries to work on it some more. Annie arrives and begs him to let her stay there for a while. She says she is being stalked and needs a safe place to go. Opal returns downstairs and says Annie is right and there is something terrible coming to Pine Valley. The doorbell starts ringing again but no one is there!
Emma and Corrinna return and Emma says she saw Annie! Ryan reminds Corrinna that Annie isn't allowed to be around Emma and says she should call him immediately next time. With Ryan distracted, Greenlee leaves. Corrinna takes Emma upstairs. Ryan looks for Greenlee but she is gone. Emma calls out to Ryan and he shuts the front door. Greenlee steps up and watches the door.
