Angie and Frankie can’t agree, Ryan feels guilty and Kendall confronts Annie.

At the hospital, Kendall insists that this is all a sham. Greenlee doesn’t think that someone would actually do that, but Kendal is not changing her mind! Annie tells Ryan that she can’t believe that he is here. She apologizes for what she has done and wants to explain about why she hired a lawyer and said all of those things. He tells her that he did lose his temper and that he is really sorry for that. She holds her stomach and promises that she will try to remain calm to keep the baby safe. The doctor comes in and tells them that the sonogram indicates that the fetal heart beat has stabilized but that they are still waiting on all of the blood work. The doctor instructs her to get some rest. Ryan walks out of the patient area and updates Kendall, Greenlee and Zach. When he steps away, Kendall tells Greenlee that Annie is twisting Ryan into knots and that they have to help. She says that Ryan’s biggest fear is him turning into his father, so what does Annie do? She puts bruises on her arm and points fingers at Ryan and tries to ruin his whole family. Greenlee says that if she really wants to help she will stay out of it. Annie looks up at the foot of her bed and her brother’s ghost suddenly appears. He tells her that this is going great! He gloats that she is on fire! She tells him to leave, but he won’t go. He tells her that she had better love this baby because it is the only reason that Ryan isn’t riding off into the sunset with Greenlee!

Tad is happy to see his brother sitting at the bar, drinking a beer and relaxing a bit. When Jake confirms that he hasn’t purchased an airline ticket to leave town yet, Tad asks what her name is. Jake tries to play it off but ends up admitting that, yes, there is a woman. Tad begs for details, but Jake keeps it very vague. He tells Tad that she is easy to talk to and very spontaneous. Tad is shocked to hear that his brother has taken dating advise from their father and is sewing his wild oats. Jake tells Tad when he asks, that this is not the army girl. He is surprised that Tad even knows about the army girl. Jake tries to convince Tad that he hardly knows Taylor, but Tad tells him that Jesse made it seem like he knew her very well. Jake tells Tad that the woman is Amanda and is ticked when Tad suggests that she may be a little young for him. Tad makes things right by suggesting that they go on a double date sometime soon. Jesse walks in and Jake takes the opportunity to get up and leave. Tad wonders where Jesse’s date is and he says that she must still be at the hospital.

Angie comes home and tells Frankie that he can’t keep avoiding her. He tells her that he has to go back to Iraq, but she claims that she has a way to keep him out of it! He tells her that there is no way out and that he has to go back. Angie is convinced that someone is putting ideas in his head. When he tells her that he has been talking with Taylor, she becomes furious and tells him that if she has something to prove, then that is fine, but she needs to leave her son out of it! He reminds her that the both of them are soldiers and they have obligations. She insists that he did his part when he served, and now he is done. She pulls out some research information she’s compiled. She has a complete list of medical conditions that soldiers have that prevent them from returning to duty. He is insulted that she thinks he would even consider faking an injury! He then informs her that things have changed since that report was done. He tells her that soldiers are returning every day with serious medical conditions because they are stretched so thin over there. She continues to give her son options to keep him out of going back. She shows him pictures of a man who hired someone to shoot him in the leg, a man who ate until he was over the weight limit and 2 men that pretended to be gay. She breaks down and tells him that she will not have her son come home in a box. He tells her that this is the way that it has to be and that if he can save one life, then it will all be worth it. She cries and wants to know what to do if it is her baby who doesn’t come back? Frankie reminds his mother that every soldier is someone’s child. She knows that he doesn’t want to hurt his mother, but promises that if he does go back over there it will kill her! She agrees that it is certainly not fair, but she will do whatever she has to do to keep him safe. As he walks out she stresses that she will not lose her family!

Taylor watches as Amanda models the dress she has picked out for her hot date tonight. Taylor offers to find somewhere else to sleep tonight so that the two of them can have some privacy, but Amanda tells her that it will be fine as long as they have some time alone for dinner and can retire to the bedroom. Amanda feels awkward and asks Taylor is she is interested in Jake. A shocked Taylor replies that she is getting deployed and that she doesn’t have time for romance. There isn’t a set date yet for her deployment, but she says that she will be ready when it gets here. Amanda tells Taylor that she wasn’t talking about a serious relationship or anything; she just wanted to know if she likes Jake. She looks at Taylor and tells her that she is still waiting on the answer! Taylor tells her that she thinks Jake is interesting and that she respects him. She thinks that Doctor’s Without Borders is pretty impressive. She says that he must have seen some horrible things. Taylor tells her that really though, she and Jake don’t have anything in common. She concludes by saying that it’s not her place to pick who Jake Martin should be with, but she certainly doesn’t think that it is herself. Amanda smiles and wants to know if she thinks it might be her? Amanda panics when she realizes that she forgot the crab dip and rushes out to pick some up.

Angie goes to Fusion to see Randi. Randi is shocked to find out that Frankie has been called back to Iraq. Angie tells her that she has said everything that she can think of to keep him from going. Randi tells her that she must be desperate to come to the hooker to save her baby boy! Angie agrees that they have had their differences, but reminds her that they have to be a team on this because they both care about him. Angie says that maybe he hasn’t told her yet about the deployment because she is the one person that can get through to him.

Jesse talks to Tad about Frankie’s tour of duty. He wonders how he can ask his people to put their life on the line everyday, but not his son. Jesse notices someone across the bar and heads over after them. He comes back and tells Tad that he has to go to the station to take care of a call that just came in. He tells Tad that Angie will be there soon and they can have a drink together. Angie arrives shortly after and talks to Tad about Frankie’s deployment. Her cell phone rings but the person calling hangs up on her. Angie complains that the hang ups are happening at home and on her cell. She is upset that this keeps happening and tells Tad that she is starting to think that someone may be after her husband!

Zach and Ryan have a cup of coffee in the waiting room. Ryan tells him that he just can’t get it right and maybe he doesn’t deserve a family! Ryan blames himself for Greenlee miscarrying, Kendall almost losing Spike and now this with Annie. He tells Zach that he is the common denominator. Zach tries to calm him down, but Ryan says if they lose this baby, it will be a sign that he is not meant to be a father! He tells Zach that he can’t ignore what is in his genes and that he can’t change who he is. Kendall tells Greenlee that Ryan doesn’t belong with that big bag of crazy! She asks Greenlee if she is staying out of it just so Ryan won’t interfere with her marriage to Aidan? Greenlee can’t believe that Kendall is bringing all of that up and insists that this is between Ryan and Annie. Greenlee tries to defend Annie, but Kendall won’t hear of it. Greenlee steps away to call Aidan and Kendall sneaks in the room with Annie. She tells Annie that this must be working perfectly for her. Annie tells her to leave and goes to push the call nurse button, but Kendall grabs the remote and says that she’s not going anywhere until she hears what she has to say! Kendall recaps the events that have happened and tells Annie that she wants to hear her say how she is using the child to trap Ryan into this marriage. Annie screams to Kendall that it is sick the way she only wants Ryan to have ever loved her and Greenlee! The two of them continue to yell at each other and suddenly Annie cramps over as the monitors start to sound. Kendall panics and runs out to get the doctors. Ryan and Zach run in wanting to know what has happened!

Frankie arrives at Fusion to Randi. She demands to know why he didn’t tell her about Iraq. She tells him that he is not going and that there are ways out of it! He asks her to try and understand. She says that it will hurt his family and that he also needs to think what it would do to her. Frankie knows that he has legitimate reasons to stay, but that he can’t do it. Randi tells him that she will not let him go and that she would give everything up for him.

Taylor finishes the final details around the Boat for Amanda. She lights the candles and imagines her hugging and dancing with a soldier while both of them are in uniform. She is surprised when she turns around and her eyes meet with Jake's.

Annie is ready to tell the truth!

Zach and Kendall go to the waiting room to talk. Zach tells Kendall that she just couldn’t keep quite and that she had to accuse Annie. Kendall says that yes, she had to do it. She can’t stand that she is lying about all of this. Annie cries and says that the baby is gone…she can feel it. The doctor keeps quiet and searches for a heartbeat on the monitor. Greenlee comes in and asks Kendall how she could do this. Kendall insists that she did the right thing. The doctor turns to Ryan and Annie and tells them that she is sorry. Kendall tells Greenlee that she is just shoving Ryan back to Annie so that she doesn’t have to deal with the fact that Ryan really loves her. Greenlee tries to deny it, but Kendall tells her that Aidan wouldn’t stand a chance if Ryan came crawling to her with all of that love. Aidan walks up just as Kendall finishes the comment. Back in the room Ryan asks Annie what Kendall said to her. Annie cries and tells him that it is not Kendall’s fault and that it is hers. Annie tells Ryan that she did all of this. She says that she loved him so much and that she couldn’t stand that he was slipping away. Annie tells him that she has done horrible things and kept them a secret. Annie says that she needs to tell him everything!

Won't Kendall feel stupid when she finds out about the baby. She won't care anyway, she doesn't spend time with her own kids. Annie made a good point about Kendall wanting to control Ryan and make sure he's on team Kendall and Greenlee. Please snap out of now Annie and realize Ryan was never worth all this!! When she wanted to divorce him he begged her not to- please let the six pack take a back seat and lets see some more of a real man- Adam!!

Kendall, get a grip! Yakata, yakata, yakata..be quiet for a change..and let other people live their lives.

I can't believe what a horrible wench Kendal is. Okay do we all remember when she was in the hospital with Ian and having problems... or how about when she broke into Greenlee's and staged that Greenlee was going to steal spike, the chlorofoam, the set up at the boat house... how dare she!!! I want Annie to come clean with Ryan and get back to normal - I also want her to tell Ryan what Kendall said and did to make her get so upset she miscarried! Writers give Kendal something she deserves!!! AHHHH! I always like Annie - I want her to make a come back.

Adam a real man? Right, he just left a pregnant woman on the floor writing in pain and almost die giving birth. Hmm, and then kidnapped said child and tried to sell it on the black market. Yep, Adam is a real man!

And won't go into what he did to his own baby, whose death he caused back in the day!

Kendall might be a busybody beotch. BUT, Annie's own actions caused her to miscarry. NOT Kendall.

Jumps I only partly agree with you because yes Annie did do some things to help land her back in the hospital but at least she was resting and trying to be calm and Kendall's witchy self come in tripping just because she thought Annie was faking. Faking or not you don't mess with someone who is in danger of miscarrying. So, i hope she feels pretty damn stupid when she finds out she lost the baby and I hope Zach goes the hell off on her, sorry that is no excuse!!
Have a good day!

I'm not going to say Kendall is the reason Annie lost the baby but she certainly didn't help. I certainly hope she has to face the damage she is doing to herself, her marriage and others. Annie was there for her when she was in jeopardy of losing both Spike and Ian and I think it's damn sorry of her to not at least keep her meddling butt out in the hall.
Also I understand liking a character but no one on this show is all good or all bad and it gets old hearing how some are always right no matter waht they do. I love Zach, and Annie but I can say when their wrong. I also haven't been high on Ryan, Greenlee and Kendall but I can see and admit their points when they make them.

Adam is a real man in that he knows who he is. He has done horrible things, I know. But Adam knows he's a jerk, Ryan has yet to figure that out. Ryan really is just trying to be a good guy, and I think that one day he will snap and try on some Adam-like behavior. (Makes for a twist, huh?)

Posted by safire8645 at Friday, September 12 2008 01:43 PM

Ryan is alot more like Adam and Zach than he wants to admit, he just hides it well, and always has a woman or two or three to justify all his action!!!

The truth is, Annie is the cause of her miscarriage. She refused to abide by her Drs. orders. Plotting & planning & stressing over what she can't change did it. Plus, God don't like ugly...and that goes for Kendall too. She's (Kendall) got to be on crack... There is at least one person in my life that I very strongly dislike...but I would never bask in her glory of loosing a child.
