Babe and Amanda are fed up with Kendall and Greenlee's antics, Annie makes a huge decision, Taylor eavesdrops on Jake, Fletcher gives Frankie a warning, JR and Krystal bond, and Randi turns down a modeling gig.
Jake is whining about his homelessness at the hospital when Aidan calls. Taylor, across the hall, hears him talking to Aidan and calling him sweetheart. She thinks he is gay! A nurse shows Taylor into an exam room; Jake arrives to look her over! He checks out her feet and says she should take better care of herself by not running outdoors so much. He tries to smooth things over by saying he wasn't flirting with her; she says she understands that now. Jake continues his exam. Jake finally gets to the problem area - her heel. Jake says he's had the same ailment but he believes she may be in real trouble because her ligaments could be involved. He suggests an anti-inflammatory and leads her into the hall. She tries to hide her limp. A nurse tells Jake a hottie dropped off his box. "He's spoken for," Jake says. Taylor takes the prescription and leaves with the nurse. She asks the nurse about confidentiality and is reassured that the Army won't find out about her foot problem. Jake checks in with the nurse and decides to take on another shift. Joe overhears. He insists that Jake go ahead with his original plans. Jake says he can't let a friend down; Joe says he'll take the shift. "Just be Jake," he says.
Taylor goes to see her military doctor, who checks her feet out. Since she knows how to mask her symptoms now, the doctor doesn't realize just how much pain she is in.
JR goes to the Martin's. He tells Krystal about his plans for Fusion, hoping to get her on-board so that Babe will get on-board, too. Krystal isn't sure this is a good idea but JR convinces her that Babe has great potential. Krystal believes this is just another way for JR to get back into Babe's life. He admits it is but says he is leaving all of the moves up to Babe. Krystal understands the changes he is making because of the changes she is trying to make; she tells him about the kiss and warns him that Adam is a pro at sucking people back into his life. JR swears he won't be taken in. Krystal tells him to be careful because he really could start a life with Babe this time. Krystal keeps singing his praises and he says she is doing just as much good; he reminds her how great she was with Kathy. Krystal isn't sure she is doing the right things with the kiddo. JR assures her that she is. As they talk, Krystal talks about the difference between life with Tad and life with Adam - mainly the laughter Tad brings to her. JR decides to try some fun with Babe.
Adam meets with Barry at the manse and says they are going to steal Fusion from Kendall and Greenlee - and then from JR! Adam plans to humiliate JR this time around. Barry loves the idea. Adam says it will be simple to attack Kendall and Greenlee; Adam suggests personal attacks but then decides they have to go in another direction. He tells Barry to start by finding out everything he can about the Fusion Green line! JR walks in.
Kendall and Greenlee are working when she brings up Spike's bad night. Annie hears them and starts in on her again about keeping Spike hidden from her. She goes to the lounge and Kendall tells Greens that Annie has more issues than normal. Amanda, Randi and Babe arrive. They both think Randi could be Fusion's new model! Babe and Amanda set them straight about Randi's receptionist job. Kendall says Babe made a mistake by not hiring Carmen. Amanda sticks up for Babe, saying they need to trust her instincts since they keep abandoning the place. They argue and Greenlee and Kendall say they can quit any time and they need to remember their boundaries. Frustrated, Amanda and Babe go to their desks; Amanda says Babe should be in charge! Annie returns and continues her argument with Kendall. She brings Greenlee into it, saying she knows Greenlee isn't over Ryan! Amanda and Randi hear them arguing; Randi says it isn't a real fight unless someone pulls a knife! When they bring up Annie's crimes, Annie pushes their crimes right back at them. Babe tells them all to grow up and get to work or leave. Annie quits! Greenlee tries to convince her to stay but Annie refuses. Amanda asks Randi about modeling and she says she isn't interested in anyone taking her picture or being on television because of her past. Amanda is understanding. Babe brings in a huge package for Amanda. It's a pirate outfit - from Jake! He wants her to meet him at ConFusion that afternoon. Babe tries to change Amanda's mind from going but she insists on going so Randi helps her get ready. Annie, with a box in hand, grabs the picture, tells them off one last time and walks out. Greenlee asks what the big deal is about the picture frame and key. Kendall says Annie has a strange key hidden in the frame and she believes it is another strike against the woman. She pulls a duplicate from her purse!
Annie takes the frame from the box, tears the key out of it and flushes it down the toilet!
Frankie goes to Fletcher's and tells him to stay away from Randi. "Tick tock, Doc," Fletcher says. He tells Fletcher to leave Randi alone or he'll send Jesse over! Fletcher threatens Frankie's whole family and Frankie goes on the attack! Fletcher calls his bluff and Frankie backs off but warns Fletcher to stay away from Randi. Fletcher says that since Frankie is having a cash flow problem he can pay Randi's bill in drugs from the hospital! Frankie refuses at first but Fletcher tells him to ask Randi about a girl named Sherri - and get him the drugs!
Randi and Frankie meet at BJ's. He asks her about Sherri; she says Sherri was her best friend, who Fletcher killed and the cops couldn't prove anything. She asks how he knows about Sherri.
Babe walks into JR's bedroom, kisses him and starts undressing him!
