For once I agree with Zach. Kendall just does not know when to quit!

Hopefully with this new Taylor character and her connection to Frankie and the war in Iraq, will be a good storyline.

AMCguy -
I love your aspects on the show - and your appreciation for the history - I have been watching since the beginning - and I miss the rich history and story telling as well - I remember Martin picnics with Kate making lemonade - back in the day they had deep and real charactors - I miss Donna and Benny and Brooke - Jenny and Greg - Nina, etc - nothing against the current actors but like you said - they are not well developed - there are too many young pretty people and the same ones - I miss the old AMC - where there were rich personas - not just models acting - Would love to see charactors like Myra and Daisy - and not all these teens running around that really have no purpose - The show used to have actors that were like real people I could relate to - right now - its rather sad - they have glamoured up the show in the wrong direction - with no storylines - just my thoughts - thanks AMCguy for remembering the way AMC used to be - I share your thoughts - ...

AMCguy and dakata-I totally agree with you both. I also started watching the show when it first began. It was great back in the "olden days"-compelling storylines and characters you actually loved and cared about. Not anymore! The show could lose half of the characters and they would not be missed. Then maybe the show could get back to its roots. Lets hope the new writer improves things.

Now wait a minute. Everyone was griping that the Annie character was boring and should be written off until Richie came along. Now everyone is talking about how they are ruining her character. Annie was a piece of drift wood that no one cared about then Richie came along and definately livened her up. I always thought that it was Annie that was the crazy one and Richie only turned all evil after spending years in jail for something he didn't do. Annie is another Janet from another Planet and Ryan will see that once he loses Greeley to Aidian.

Frankie is a jerk. He doesn't want Randi safe he wants to turn her into whatever fantasy girl he is dreaming of. Instead of asking her what she dreams for herself he keeps telling her what he dreams of for her and that's not helping that's just another form of pimping. How stupid is he not to go to Jesse for help. Your father just spent decades hiding from a man trying to kill him after he faked his death and you don't think he can help you? Dumb! Dumb! Dumb!

Can we please have back the evil/cold blooded Zack. This new Zen Zack is really trying my nerves. Erica please grow-up a little and stop jumping into the nearest man's arms for once. Good lord your like 60, you don't have to act old but at least act mature.

Now bratty Cassandra is going to try and get to Jesse because he had no choice but to arrest Dre. You're not 16 so there is no excuse for you acting like a child. If anyone of you lunkheads had bothered to tell Jesse what happened in the first place he could have figured out what really happened and Dre wouldn't be in jail. Grow-up or get written off! I thought she would be a sensible addition to the Hubbard clan but their kids seem as dumb as the rest of the children of Pine Valley.

Where is a s/l for Josh - are the writers STILL ON STRIKE???
What a waste of a handsome man!! Hopefully he will leave and move on to another show where he is appreciated!

Josh is on recurring status. You would think they could come up with something for him to do besides babysit his nephews.

I wish Kendall, Zack, and everybody would leave Annie alone! Richie got what he deserved! I hope Dre gets out of the mess he's in, but I don't want Annie to get arrested. I hope Greenlee and Aiden get married, so Ryan stays out of her face! He needs to help his wife Annie who he has kids with!

As a 37+ year fan, I have stayed with the soap through many highs and lows. I must say the past 2 years the show has made it very difficult for me to be loyal, but I persist. Mainly, since I found a way to vent and find support comments with AMC fans on this site.
One point missed by people, Ritchie was evil as a child, he murdered more than one person, and stole from many. He was in jail for something he did not do, because of Annie, but he was guilty of many other crimes. He was evil and was evil to the day he died, I can't stand when someone writes in and says "Oh it was Annie all along that was evil." Ritchie was not innocent, he killed a playmate when he was young, he had his prison Dr. killed, he wanted JR killed, he was pathalogical. Sure he is a good lookling actor, but don't mix up the actor with his evil-doing character.

AMCGUY - my husband thinks I have the AMC addicton, but my comeback is the way he follows sports, I won't complain if he won't complain. To each their own. However I did invent a way to record the show back in 1975 before VCR and DVR when I went to work.It was using a travel timer with extension cord so I could have the TV turn on and the tape recorder turn on for a 90 minute tape. I would happily listen to the shows AMC and some OLTL. So I am very very into my shows.
