Angie questions Cassandra, Krystal confronts Colby, Jesse and Frankie butt heads over Randi, Stuart begs Adam to reconsider and JR tells Babe he'll buy Fusion for her!
In JR's office, he mentions his business plans to Babe again. She is worried that trying to overthrow Adam will turn JR into his father. He admits he planted the story in the newspapers about Adam's breakdown; she asks why he let himself get sucked back in to Adam's insanity. JR says it about getting back at Adam for Dixie. Babe doesn't see the difference. JR shows Babe his new plans for the company and shows her how much money Chandler is wasting every year. She likes his plans. Just then, the lights go out! Babe freaks out but JR holds her until the lights come back. A secretary comes in and apologizes. Babe feels better once the lights are on again. She hugs JR and tells him she's fine. They talk about Fusion again; JR suggests she start her own company. She won't leave Fusion so JR tells her again that he'll buy it for her once the Chandler deal is completed. Babe says she only wants Fusion if she earns it!
At the Valley Inn, Barry tells Adam that the car is gone - forever! Adam is still worried. Another associate stops by their table and says JR believes he has all of the board votes! Adam is pleased at this news because it is part of his master plan. He says he'll get JR out of Chandler for good this time! Barry wonders if Adam will actually go through with his plans. Stuart arrives so Barry leaves. Stuart asks why he lied to Jesse about Colby's car. Adam tries to convince Stuart he didn't see Colby driving the car at all. Stuart tells Adam he is approaching the situation the wrong way but gets very nervous when Adam tells him that Colby is in big danger if he doesn’t keep manipulating the situation. Adam tries to distract Stuart with talk of a new family portrait. Stuart begs Adam not to hurt Colby with his new scheme but Adam won't give in.
Jesse finds Frankie at the hospital, grabs his hand and says, "That oath is 'First, Do No Harm'!" He asks about the wounds on his hands and demands to know why Frankie jumped Fletcher. Frankie says he was protecting Cassandra; Jesse tells him that man following Cassandra was a police officer - not Fletcher! Frankie still isn't upset that he beat up the wrong man. Jesse warns him that he is in danger of losing everything for no reason. Frankie says Randi is a very big reason. Jesse threatens to arrest him! Frankie tells him to get out and go do his job. Jesse points out that he may have made things worse for Randi. "Then, I'll have to kill him!" Frankie says. Another doctor walks in to tell Frankie about a new patient. Frankie sends him away and then tells Jesse he won't stop protecting Randi. Jesse sits Frankie down and tells him to forget about Fletcher but Frankie can't. He accuses Jesse of running out on the family and leaves for his rounds.
At the Hubbard apartment, Angie brings up Cassandra's artwork, wondering why she is hiding her latest masterpiece. Cassandra asks what Angie is really wondering about. Angie turns off her pager and cell phone as Cass rambles on about college, Colby and Dre. Cass wonders how much her mother knows after Angie tells her the man following her was a cop. Cass freaks out, wondering if they've tapped her phone, too. Angie keeps pushing, trying to get her to open up but Cassandra won't. Angie grabs Cassandra's art pad and freaks out. The picture is a scary looking winding road. Cassandra says she is being quiet because she isn't part of their new family. Angie tells her not to lie. Cass says she needs protection from Jesse! Angie says she has to open up first. Crying, Cassandra says she wants to move back to Paris with Jacob! Angie can't believe what she is saying. Angie says she knows about Jesse's questions and begs her to tell everything that happened that night. She refuses to choose Cassandra over Jesse or Jesse over Cass but Cass doesn't see things that way. "We didn't see anything that night," she says and begs Angie to trust her - or send her back to Paris! Cassandra grabs her things and runs to her room. Jesse arrives and asks if Angie got through to Cass; she asks if he got through to Frankie!
Krystal tracks down Colby at the Yacht Club. Colby is trying desperately to forget about Richie but the more Krystal talks the more upset she gets. Krystal sips Colby's drink and tastes rum. She tells Colby she knows everything and Colby breaks down. Krystal reminds Colby of how strong she is and tries to make her feel better by saying it was an accident but Colby continues to beat herself up. She admits Dre was driving. Krystal tells her to forget about Richie because the world is better off without him in it. Colby is afraid of what will happen to the others if she tells the truth. She decides she has to go along with Adam to protect her friends. Krystal keeps pushing her but finally gives in and says she'll keep quiet. Colby walks down the pier. Cassandra calls to tell her about the tail; Colby says Krystal knows, too. She reassures Cass that things will be fine but Cass doesn't believe her.
