Killing Was The Only Way! Tuesday, July 22 2008

Colby and Cassandra near the breaking point, Ryan visits his doctor, Greenlee counsels Amanda, Angie tries to set up a date for Frankie, Jake treats Amanda's sore neck and Annie makes a huge discovery.

Frankie overhears Randi talking to a job counselor at an office. She doesn't want to provide the information they need and walks away but Frankie stops her. She tells him she doesn't need his help but Frankie won't stop pressing her. She finally agrees to answer the questions so Frankie goes through the application with her. She says she is 22, has no family and no job skills. He asks how she got started with hooking. She says it just happened. She calls Fletcher her protector. Frankie looks at her sympathetically and she angrily says she isn't a victim! Frankie keeps pushing her and realizes she was a sexual abuse victim as a child. She refuses to talk about her past any longer. Frankie tells her she isn't a victim but she has to face the past to fully move on. She says she has to finish the forms so Frankie leaves.

Petey, Dre, Cassandra and Colby arrive at the Yacht Club. Petey is excited about an afternoon of play but the others are worried about Richie. Petey tries to distract them, especially Colby, but they more or less ignore him. Petey tries to start a game of Marco Polo but no one will play with him. Colby orders a drink and Cassandra freaks. They both insult one another until Dre tells them to shut up because no one knows! Colby drinks more. Petey tells Cass to give up the guilt. Colby agrees with Petey and Cass calls her a rich girl. Dre takes Cassandra to the pool and reminds her that he won't let anyone hurt her. He kisses her. Across the pool, Colby and Petey are floating. She gets another drink and brings it to the pool. The four of them return to their chairs and make up. Dre says they all need to put the past behind them.

At the penthouse, Ryan is brooding about Greenlee while Annie chatters on about baby names. She sees how distracted he is and asks what is going on. Ryan says he is going to see Dr. Cooper; Annie tries to change his mind but Ryan is insistent. Annie keeps pushing him to stay with her and simply accept their child. He says he needs answers and she says she'll go with him!

Ryan and Annie arrive at the doctor's office. A nurse is the only one there and she says the doctor never completed his operation and many others. She says they will get a settlement. Annie says that is all they needed to know and pulls Ryan out of the office.

At Fusion, Greenlee tells Amanda about Ryan's botched vasectomy and Annie's pregnancy. Amanda is shocked and tells Greens how sorry she is. Greenlee says the pregnancy doesn't bother her because of Aidan. Amanda isn't sure she buys that. Greenlee mentions Kendall's thoughts of firing Annie and Amanda says that won't go over well. Greenlee says it doesn't matter anyway. Amanda's neck is bothering her so Greens gives her a massage and they talk about available guys. Amanda decides to go after Jake! She still can't move her neck so she leaves work. Greenlee starts brooding about "psycho-Annie". Ryan arrives! She rattles on about fate and being happy with her life. Ryan says the doctor never really performed his vasectomy and shows her the papers. "It should be us," he says, "I love you." Greenlee brings him back to the present; he didn't really say those words. Before he can leave, she asks what he wanted to tell her at the hospital. He takes her hand and asks how she is. She says she is happy and he kisses her and tells her goodbye and leaves.

At the hospital, Angie and Jake take a break. She tells him about the issues with Randi and her pimp; he sides with her but says she has to let Frankie make his own decision. Things are quiet for a moment and then Angie brings up Jake's ex-wife! He doesn't answer her questions and Angie goes back to work; Amanda is at the admit desk. She wants to see Jake and pretends that her neck isn't really bothering her at all when Angie tries to diagnose the condition. She sees Jake around a corner and goes straight to his side. He looks her over and works on her neck. He snaps it into place and she starts feeling better but says she still needs some attention.

Back at the admit desk, Angie overhears two nurses talking about Frankie. She asks one of them to stay for a moment. Angie chats the woman up and realizes she is single, studying for the MCAT exams and invites her to the house for dinner some night and she agrees.

Annie arrives at the penthouse and calls a friend. She watches the door and then takes Richie's ashes from behind some books. "Just one more thing to do," she says and takes the ashes to the shoreline. She tells Richie goodbye and then dumps his ashes over the water! "Killing you was the only way," she says. Annie continues up to the Yacht Club and overhears Cassandra, Colby and Dre talking about Richie's death. Dre says again that they have to keep silent. Petey says no one can prove they were involved. Annie can't believe what she is hearing.

Fletcher finds Randi's new place and sneaks inside. He asks what is going on with Frankie and she says Frankie is just a friend. Fletcher doesn't believe her. He calls her trash and takes her hand; he won't let her go.
