Ryan learns he is going to be a daddy, Kendall worries about Annie's stability, Colby makes a deal with Petey, Adam emotionally blackmails Krystal to keep Colby's secret and Annie is certain her pregnancy will solve all of her problems.
In Annie's hospital room, Ryan is stunned to hear her pregnancy news. Annie says she is just as shocked. Ryan believes she has been hiding an affair. He points out that he can't be the father because of the vasectomy. She swears she didn't have an affair but he can't believe her. He says he doesn't hold it against her and they'll have a fast divorce. Annie freaks and begs him to get a test to prove he's the father.
At the hospital, Greenlee asks Zach what could be going on with Ryan and Annie. Zach tells her to relax and not worry about Ryan. Kendall and Aidan arrive and Zach fills them in. Ryan comes out and tells them that Annie is pregnant and swears he is the father. Greenlee and Kendall keep the Annie-is-Crazy stuff going and defend Ryan. Zach and Aidan tell them to calm down. A nurse comes in and Ryan leaves for some tests. Greenlee says there is no way Annie can be having Ryan's kid! Zach and Aidan walk out. Greenlee convinces Kendall to come and talk to Annie with her.
Back in Annie's room, Greenlee and Kendall refuse to believe her story. Annie remains calm and insists that Ryan is the father of her baby. Greenlee gets very upset and Kendall leads her out of the room.
In the waiting room, Ryan is very upset. He says they'll have proof soon enough. He asks the others to leave so he can talk to Greenlee. He says he'll do anything to make things easier for her and asks if Aidan knows. Greenlee has no idea what he is talking about but Ryan still thinks she knows he is in love with her. Kendall interrupts before he can put his foot in his mouth. When she is gone, Kendall tells him Greenlee doesn't know the truth about his feelings. Ryan can't believe it but says he is relieved she kept the secret.
In the hall, Aidan asks Greenlee if she wants to leave. She says she has to stand by her friend. She tells him not to worry about her because she loves him - not Ryan. Greenlee, Aidan and Zach follow a nurse into the waiting room. Ryan opens the test results and quickly returns to Annie. Greenlee can't believe he is telling Annie first; Zach reminds Greens that Annie is his wife but she doesn't care.
Ryan hands the test results to Annie, who triumphantly looks at him. "I can still have children," Ryan says, shocked. She says she knew it before they got the test results back. She says a higher power must have been involved; Ryan points out that they aren't in the same place they were a year ago and can't stop thinking about Greenlee. Annie tells him she loves him but he still doesn't react the way she wants - so she asks if she should terminate the pregnancy! He says no and she tells him how great it will be to go through a pregnancy together. He leaves.
Greenlee walks down the hall and returns to her friends. She tells them that Ryan can have children. Everyone is shocked. Ryan walks out to his friends and says he is going home with Annie. Greenlee and Kendall tell him they know; Zach is happy for him and Aidan offers to help however he can. They all leave. Ryan watches Greenlee go; at the last second she turns and looks at him. Ryan sits alone for a while. Annie comes into the room and asks if they can go home.
Jesse keeps questioning Adam about the car; Adam angrily says the car was stolen before anyone had the chance to drive it. Krystal arrives and wonders what is going on. Neither man says anything. Adam takes Jesse on a tour of the garages. The more Jesse sees the more convinced he is that the car wasn't stolen. Krystal hears them and backs up Adam's theft story. Jesse leaves. Krystal asks why Adam is lying to the police and he asks if she can keep his family secrets. When she says yes, Adam says he won't tell her - because she isn't a member of the family! Krystal refuses to let him muddy the waters while Adam keeps insulting her for choosing Tad over him. She keeps pushing and Adam admits that the car wasn't stolen - but if he says that Colby will be in deep trouble! He clams up. Krystal puts two and two together and realizes that Colby may have hit Richie. She says he can't cover this up; Adam tells her to keep quiet for Colby's sake. She can't believe what he is asking but finally agrees to keep the secret.
In jail, Sable accuses Erica of sleeping with her husband! She grabs Erica and threatens her with a knife. Jack tries to talk her down as she talks about her rich husband. A SWAT team arrives with guns drawn! Jack gets the guards to leave but Sable won't release her grip on Erica. Erica swears she didn't sleep with Sable's husband. The woman refuses to believe her because her husband was found dead in the bed of an Erica impersonator. She says she has lost everything - her husband, her fortune and her life - because of Erica. Jack backs up Erica and says she never slept with Sable's husband. Sable still won't give in. Jack says he'll put a good word in with the warden but Sable won't listen. Erica fights back and breaks free of her grip. The guards and SWAT team haul Sable away. Erica tells Jack everything about Sable and says she isn't the same person who caved in to Sable in the beginning. "Get me out of here!" she exclaims. Jack leads her out of prison. She passes by the guard and several other inmates.
At the Hubbard apartment, Cassandra is still freaking out about Richie's hit-and-run. Colby and Dre try to calm her down. Colby says Richie deserved what he got and they won't accomplish anything by confessing. Petey arrives and tells them about Adam's threats. Colby defends her father and angrily tells Petey, Cassandra and Dre they need to get a grip. She says she won't let them ruin things for her - or for themselves. Jesse arrives and asks why they aren't out having a good time. They say they're on the way to a beach bonfire. He introduces himself to Petey, who immediately starts sucking up. Jesse brings up Colby's car. She says it was horrible not to get to drive her car before it was stolen. Jesse asks if they saw anything on the road to the lodge and everyone says no. Jesse says the police will find her car. Jesse leaves. Dre is worried that Jesse may be on to them; Petey thinks it was fun to put one over on Jesse.
In the hall, Jesse calls the police department and asks them to keep an eye on Colby and Cassandra!
Greenlee, Aidan, Kendall and Zach go to ConFusion. Zach and Kendall order drinks. She tells him that Ryan is in love with Greenlee. She goes on and on about Annie's pregnancy and Ryan's conflicted feelings. She believes Annie trapped Ryan! Back at the table, Greenlee reassures Aidan that she isn't in love with Ryan again and that she isn't upset about Annie's pregnancy.
