Now Tell Me The Truth!

Thursday, July 17 2008
Zach questions Annie, Kendall barely keeps the truth from Greenlee, Ryan and Tad talk destiny, Frankie tries to be Randi's rescuer and Jesse threatens Fletcher.

Annie looks at the wedding ring Zach tosses on the table and swears it isn't hers. He just watches her. She backtracks and says she lost her ring. Zach says he found it at a pawn shop, that the owner described her perfectly and asks why she lied about losing the ring to Kendall. He suggests she pawned the ring to pay off Richie and asks why. Annie says he doesn't know what he is talking about. Zach asks what she is hiding. Annie begs Zach to let things lie. She says Ryan has recovered his memories, Richie is gone and they can all move on now. Zach won't let this slide; he asks if she used the money from her ring to pay off Richie and she admits that she did! She says she couldn't face Richie going back to prison because of the things he told her happened in the past. She says Richie began blackmailing her at that point. "I just wanted it over," she says and cries. She says when she wouldn't give Richie more money they argued and he hit her. She begs him not to tell Ryan because she isn't sure he could forgive her. Zach comforts her for a minute - and then asks what really happened! She turns to go but Zach keeps peppering her with questions. She hears Richie voice, taunting her to tell him everything - and then she collapses!

Ryan runs into Tad at the Yacht Club. Tad is sailing a remote control boat in the pool. They talk about Greenlee's rescue and Tad says it was fate. He tells Ryan about his time as Ted Orsini and says what Ryan went through has to be worse than that. Tad brings up Annie but Ryan can't stop thinking about Greens. They start racing their boats and Tad brings up Ted again. He says it is normal to question life after a memory loss; this makes Ryan feel better. They race a while longer and Ryan wins. They talk about destiny and Tad says he believes there is a higher power in control. He tells Ryan not to worry about decisions he made in the past. Ryan says he is worried about making the wrong decisions in the future. Tad advises Ryan to take some time and they race boats some more.

Kendall tells Greenlee that Ryan has recovered all of his memories! Greens is thrilled. She is about to tell Greens that Ryan is still in love with her when Greenlee starts talking about Aidan and moving forward with her life. Kendall says things can't be like they were and brings up Annie's weird actions. Greens defends Annie, saying she has had a lot of stress. Kendall can't believe Greenlee is defending Annie. Kendall says Annie threw Zach under the bus; Greenlee questions her about this and Kendall admits that Annie only talked about Zach because Jesse was questioning her. Greenlee still doesn't see that Annie was doing anything intentionally wrong, angering Kendall. Kendall says they need to fire Annie! "What are you not telling me?" Greenlee asks. Kendall almost tells her about Ryan but holds back. Greenlee says they can all move on now that Ryan remembers everything. Then, she says she forgives Kendall! She asks Kendall to let go of her anger at Annie because things are finally getting back to normal. She says Ryan isn't in love with her but he can never be happy with Annie if Kendall gets in the way of things. Kendall thinks about what Ryan told her. Greenlee insists that she has moved on from Ryan and is over the moon about Aidan. Kendall agrees to move on, too. Greens leaves for work.

Greenlee is working at ConFusion when Ryan walks in. "Kendall told me everything," she says excitedly and hugs him.

At the police station, Fletcher asks an officer where he can find Jesse. Jesse walks up and thanks Fletcher for coming in. He says Randi just left - but he isn't going anywhere! Jesse tells Fletcher to get out of town and leave Randi alone. Fletcher plays the tough guy and Jesse threatens to arrest him and has an officer take him to holding.

Frankie is waiting at the back door of the police station when Randi walks up. She asks what he is trying now; Frankie says he is just trying to be a friend. She says his mom wouldn't like that but Frankie says Angie just needs time. They leave together. They walk to Randi's pay-by-the-hour motel. She says he can do anything since he paid for her time. Frankie says they just need to talk. Randi says the only talk she is up for is dirty talk. Frankie questions her about Fletcher and her past but Randi won't tell him anything. She comes on to him and tries to seduce him but Frankie won't sleep with her. She undresses but Frankie won't stop questioning her. Frankie says she can do and be anything she wants and asks why she keeps hooking. She grabs her clothes, dresses and starts for the door. He grabs her and she slaps him! He won't let go and she starts to cry. He says he found a safe place for her - if she decides she is worth it. He leaves.

Jesse arrives at home to have lunch with Angie. She is worried about Fletcher until Jesse says the man has been arrested. He says he released Randi, which worries Angie. She believes Frankie is in too deep. They argue for a while but Jesse convinces Angie that Frankie can make his own decisions. They make love and then Jesse leaves to find Frankie.

Once again, that deadbeat husband, Ryan spends the day at the yacht club and then goes to a bar (Confusion). He has no job and just gets into everyones business. Poor Annie, Zack figuered out the missing ring before her husband even noticed. Get that poor woman mental heath help. Her lousy husband drove her to desperation and she committed an accidental murder because Ritchie knew what buttons to push. Her 1st husband was a total Bast..d and he was verbaly abusive. Ryan is passivly-aggresive and abusive.
Frankin needs a place of his own or rent a cottage with Jake near the Pine Vally "ocean". Angie is out of control trying to be so very in control of everyone's life. Cassandra has been able to escape any Angie time, what's up with that?

OMG! Now it is Ryan's fault that Annie killed her brother? Kind of like it is Zach's fault that Alexander murdered all those women, right? I mean, Zach faking his death drove Alexander crazy, so it must be Zach's fault, right? Just like Ryan drove Annie crazy enough to commit murder..

What! Ryan was trying to talk Zach into helping him murder Ritchie. He is by far not innocent. If he would have supported his wife instead of trying to cheat on her at every turn, she would never had been there in the first place. He didn't make her do it but he's responsible for his actions, and his actions drove her to desperation.

Annie, please turn to Zach and let him help you he's been there for you all along when your husband hasn't been.

LOL at you jumps...

I'm am firmly in the Ryass-haters camp, so I'm inclined to agree that Ryass drove Annie bonkers. (*wink*) Think about it... Kendall had a breakdown after Ryass, so did Greens... See the pattern? The only one to escape the madness was Gillian, and she had to DIE in order to escape it!!

HAH!

On a more serious note, no, Ryass didn't MAKE Annie kill Ritchie, but I gotta say, he sure did his part in driving her nuts - what with his chasing around after Kendall and Greens. It's pretty clear that Annie was already insecure and borderline unstable - but was he paying any attention? Nope! How come other people notice that she's losing (has lost) it, but her own hubby can't see it?

So while he's not responsible for her actions, he sure contributed to her going over the edge.

Shepmajor, I agree whole heartedly! Ryan you promised to love through sickness and in health, FORSAKING all others. I wouldn't wish him on any woman in Pine Valley, not even Janet in the coo-koo bin.

to safire8645 - I just started my posting about 3 weeks ago and find it comforting to know there is someone out there thinking like me! Thanks...I thought I was the only one that sees Ryan as a jerk, loser capital "L". At least we know what a husband should be doing right. Let's not forget with Annie, it was an accidental murder, not pre meditated. He was pushing all her buttons & threatened her with a life of never-knowing when the letter would come to Ryan or the phone call to Ryan, she would never have a moment of peace. She lost it long ago and at that moment "snapped". Is Zack playing Annie or really caring about her?

TGF DVRs, I too just started posting even though I have been coming to this sight for 2 years and reading the posts. I just couldn't take it any longer either. You and I see things eye to eye. It makes me sick the way the writer have destroyed Annie's character. I use to like Ryan and Annie, but now I don't want her with him, she's too good for him. I don't want her character killed off, or sent to prison. Kendall, Greenlee and Ryan have all done bad things. I almost fell out today when I read Greenlee defended Annie. She should, she knows she's been wrong flirting with a married man.

I love Zach, and I think if Annie confided in him he would help her cover this up and help her out. He told Ryan earlier this week to quit throwing mixed signals. I think he can see clearly where Ryans is concerned.

Haven't posted for awhile because of the frustrating and stupid storylines this show has been coming up with lately but couldn't resist today! How can Ryan love honor and cherish ANYONE thru sickness and health if he can't remember the current woman he's said that to lately? He's so confused he doesn't know if he's in love today with Kendall, Greenlie, Annie, Gillian or the baby sitter. "Bull!"

Everyone has told him for months that he loved Annie yet he chose not to give their marriage/love a fair chance. Memory loss or not - He's been to busy chasing women who were already in committed relationships rather than truly trying to get back on track with his wife, Annie - no wonder she has gone bonkers! I have had issues with Ryan for a long time - especially when he got a "secret" vasectomy and he faked his death. IMO you don't do those kind of drastic things to people you say you care for. Then to adds insult to injury he comes back and expect everyone to forgive and forget....please.

I am sick of the flip flpping Kendall. One minute she hates Greenlie with a purple passion and the next she can't live without her friendship. Kendall needs to mind her own business and concentrate on her own man and the company she is suppose to be running.

First of all, I don't know how someone who hits someone else over the head with that tools to change tires (I have no idea what it's called, LOL) commited an ACCIDENTAL murder. No offense but that's just plain MURDER!!

And if saying that someone made you commit murder actually worked in a court of law, we'd have lots of WWII officier for the Reich still alive and kicking instead of being executed. That excuse doesn't work. The beauty of the humanity is free-will... Annie did what she did because of Annie. Not because Ryan pushed her to it.

Which leads me to my final point. Ryan didn't notice the ring missing because he doesn't care! OK it's partly because he wasn't looking for something suspicious about Annie since all he knew about was what he was told (which is that she's saintly and she's persecuted by all the men in her life except him), and because since he got his memory back (3 days ago for us, yesterday in soapland) all he's been thinking about are his feelings for Greens. The REAL question is, if everyone noticed that something was off with Ryan and his feelings for Annie, why hasn't she? Pathetic much?

To sum it up: Annie has gone psycho because she's crazy and she's clearly suffered from lack of love in her family, and she has abandonnement issues; saying someone else pushed you to commit murder because they didn't care about you enough in your sick and twisted mind, doesn't make you any less guilty of that murder than you really are; learn to cut your loses when the man who supposedly loves you doesn't remember loving you because he never did.

Okay - then 2nd degree murder. I did say murder though. Ryan is a jerk, he comes home, hugs Annie and is all smiles about remembering. From her perspective she thinks all is right with the world ---he's going to pull the rug out from under her! I never said he was going to be held for murder, I just said he contributed to her state of mind, a little guilty for being a unempolyed, married - skirt-chaser!
