How Do I Like My Eggs? Monday, July 14 2008

Krystal and Carmen dish about Adam, annoying Tad, Jesse and Zach go to the crime scene, Kendall and Annie argue, Petey says he knows about the hit-and-run and Richie's body is released!

Tad and Krystal are having breakfast with Kathy when they bring up camp. Kathy doesn't want to go and Tad sticks by her even though Krystal thinks camp is a good idea. Kathy insists she won't go and runs off saying Krystal can't make her! She tells Tad they have to stick together but Tad won't listen. He says Kathy can go to camp later on. Krystal insists that since they made the decision, they should stick with it or Kathy will start manipulating them. Tad finally agrees to talk to her. He is headed upstairs when Carmen stops by. She introduces herself and says they need to talk about Adam! Krystal finally remembers Carmen walking in on the kiss; Carmen doesn't bring that up, she asks how to run Adam's house. Tad goes upstairs to check on Kathy. When he is gone, Krystal brings up the kiss but Carmen says it is already forgotten. Krystal says Adam is bad news for her and she is moving on. They talk about Adam and Krystal advises Carmen to anticipate Adam's needs and make him think the ideas are his own. She tells him about Adam's drinking problems and anxiety attacks.

Upstairs, Tad talks to Kathy about respecting her elders - especially her family members. She asks if she has to go to camp. Tad says she can skip today but tomorrow she is going to camp. She takes his deal. Tad returns downstairs and listens to Krystal tell Carmen how to deal with Adam. The more the women talk about Adam the more annoyed Tad becomes. He tells Carmen to keep a sharp stick, some garlic and a mallet handy! After Carmen leaves, Tad asks her how he likes his eggs. He is surprised that Krystal knows. They kiss.

Ryan sees Greenlee go overboard and yells for help. Then, he takes off for the boat. He runs to a dingy and remembers the pool fight with Kendall and Greens. He reaches the sailboat and sees Greenlee lying over the side. He remembers when she fell from the rocks. He remembers when he chose Greenlee over Kendall, when he proposed to Annie and everything else. Most of his memories, though, are of Greenlee and their love. He finally gets to Greenlee and says he'll never let her go again! He gets her back to shore and a clubsman goes for help. Greens is unconscious but breathing. "I love you," Ryan says!

Jesse and Zach stop along the road. He asks Zach to walk him through what happened the night of Richie's murder. Zach says Richie was tied up but someone let him go and then he left alone. Zach says he planned to hurt Richie but Richie was already dead when he found him on the road. Jesse begins brainstorming with Zach about what could have happened. Both notice that there are no skid marks, that Richie had no defensive wounds and that the only blow was to his head. He suggests that Richie wasn't killed by the hit-and-run; he believes Richie was killed and then run over. Zach likes that scenario, too. Jesse decides to go see Richie's body again.

At the Chandler mansion, Petey says he wants to know what secret they have! Colby tells him about the party at the lodge but they all insists they didn’t hit anything except a small bump. "Uh, logs don’t bleed," he says. He offers to check the blood on the fender but Colby tells him not to because they only hit a squirrel or something. Petey disputes that saying the amount of blood on her fender had to come from something much larger than a squirrel. He says he knows the blood is human. Dre angrily tells him to back off and then lunges for him when he says they hit Richie. Petey says he can help them beat the charges. Dre and Cassandra leave; he says he has to talk to his dad. Petey stays with Colby, ignoring her when she tells him to leave. He pats the sofa beside him.

Annie asks Kendall how she knows Zach is innocent, saying Zach has kept secrets before. Kendall can't believe what she is hearing. She wonders why Annie is against her all of a sudden. Annie insists she didn't tell Jesse anything he didn't already know or suspect. Kendall says it doesn't matter who killed Richie because he was horrible; she doesn't understand why Annie is trying to find someone to blame. She storms out. Annie starts crying. The hospital calls about Richie’s body and Annie leaves the office.

Kendall arrives at the police station and learns that Jesse never showed up with Zach. She wonders what is going on. Jesse and Zach arrive. Kendall asks what is going on. Jesse says Zach isn't under arrest but he had to be cuffed or he wouldn’t have gone with Jesse. Zach says they just did a walk through of the crime scene. Jesse calls the morgue to see Richie’s body. He hangs up angrily and says, "I can't believe this!"

Annie arrives at the morgue and a technician hands her Richie’s ashes!

Ryan and Greenlee are taken to the hospital. She wakes briefly but then falls back into unconsciousness. A nurse says she will be fine. Ryan can't believe how clear everything is now and he tells her how much he loves her. He says he has always loved her and always will. He kisses her. Greenlee wakes up and Ryan fills her in. She remembers that he told the paramedics they were married. He is about to tell her he loves her when she thanks him for saving her - for Aidan!
