What Are You Hiding? Friday, July 11 2008

Jesse questions Annie again, Ryan and Zach make a pact, Greenlee has a sailing accident, Petey Cortlandt drops in on Colby, Angie doesn't want Randi in her home and JR makes Babe an offer!

Jesse tells Annie they need to talk; Kendall asks if she can handle it. Annie says she can so Kendall leaves. Annie is very defensive which makes Jesse wonder about her. She digs through her purse to find her movie ticket stub and an early pregnancy test falls out! She is even more nervous but finally finds the ticket stub. She even tells Jesse the plot of the movie. Annie tells him that the night at the Pine Cone, she never really talked to Richie. When he keeps pressing her, she says Richie did tell her that Zach beat him up in the jail. She doesn’t want to say more but Jesse keeps pushing her. “Zach threatened to kill him,” Annie says as Kendall walks back in the room! She says Zach didn’t do anything wrong and that Annie is confused and that Richie was a liar. Jesse isn’t so sure.

Greenlee sails from the Yacht Club and tells Alphonso they need to think about Aidan. Kendall calls, worried about Annie and the questions Jesse may have about Zach. Greenlee says they have nothing to worry about because Zach is innocent. After talking to Kendall, she thinks about the trials she has been through with Aidan and wonders if they really can start over.

Ryan invites Zach to the Yacht Club. He says no matter what happened, Zach’s secret is safe with him. Zach says he didn’t kill Richie. They talk some more about Ryan’s amnesia and Zach advises him to stop sending mixed signals to all the women involved and just stick with what is working. He leaves. Ryan walks back to the boats and sees Greenlee through his binoculars. He calls her on a walkie-talkie and she invites him out. He says shore is safer. He is watching as Greenlee waves; he recovers a memory of her from years ago. Ryan wonders why all of his memories are of her. In the boat, Greenlee realizes she is completely over Ryan - and in love with Aidan! She calls Ryan back on the walkie and says she’ll be right in - and then falls overboard!

Babe runs into Colby and her friends, who act nervous but go on upstairs. She asks JR what is going on and he brushes off Colby’s mood. He asks about work and Babe vents about Kendall and Greenlee ignoring the company lately but still not trusting her enough to give her more control. Kendall calls, upset because Babe isn’t at work. She yells at Babe, who says she is working from home and everything is up to date. Babe hangs up on her and vents to JR some more. JR pretends to make a joke about Charm, which makes Babe defend the product. JR says she is too good for Fusion - and says she should take over! He offers to buy the company for her. Babe says she can’t do that to the other women but JR insists they are walking all over her. She still won’t go against the other women. Babe and JR get close and nearly kiss but she pulls back and hurries from the room.

Upstairs, Colby, Dre and Cassandra worry about what may happen because of the hit and run. Dre still thinks they need to keep the secret but Cassandra is beginning to crack. She says Jesse can’t stop talking about Richie; she worries that he’ll figure everything out. Colby tries to make them feel better by saying they probably only hit a tree branch. Dre suggests lunch. Then, they agree not to talk about Richie again. They kids have lunch by the pool. Petey Cortlandt stops by! He walks right in, annoying Colby, who isn’t happy to see him at all. He notes that her new car is very dirty and should be cleaned up. He says he knows a guy. Colby tries to get rid of him and eventually Petey takes the hint. On the way out he says she should really have her fender checked because it looks like blood is on it!

Angie can’t believe Frankie brought Randi to her home and says it is completely the wrong thing. Randi makes things worse by saying she didn’t want to come there anyway. Angie and Frankie argue about what happens next. Angie says Randi needs a place to go that isn’t Angie’s home; Randi says she wouldn’t care if Randi had a more pristine past. Angie walks out of Cass’s room. Frankie follows her, saying she needs to let him make his own decisions. She says he is off base with Randi. Randi comes from the bedroom and says she is leaving. Frankie tries to stop her but she won’t listen. When he returns to Angie, she says Randi can stay. He says it is too late.

Zach arrives and Jesse says he has no choice but to arrest him. Kendall tries to stop him but Zach insists he’ll be fine. Jesse leads him away. Kendall turns back to Annie and demands to know why she pointed the finger at Zach! Annie says she didn’t implicate Zach, she only said what Richie told her. Kendall doesn’t see the difference. Annie says she had no choice because Jesse wouldn’t leave her alone. Kendall says she should have kept quiet. “Zach protected you!” Kendall exclaims, wondering if Annie is protecting herself!
