Krystal tells everyone Richie deserved what he got, Dre and Cassandra realize they may have hit Richie, Babe makes a big decision, Zach begins to have doubts about Annie and Jesse investigates Richie's death.
After sleeping outside her door, Aidan lets himself into Greenlee’s apartment with coffee. She is relieved he is still there. Jake arrives to move in. Aidan helps move Jake’s boxes in. Greenlee says he should check in on Kendall about Zach. Jake walks in and listens to their exchange. He thanks Aidan for helping with the move. Aidan leaves. Jake asks where he can put a trophy and Greenlee says he can put it away. Jake brings up Aidan and asks why she has been able to give so many people second chances but can’t do the same for Aidan. She doesn’t answer and instead helps him unpack. Aidan arrives a while later with a message.
Jesse and Angie are discussing Richie’s death at BJ’s when Krystal walks in. She says Richie deserved to die and sits down with them. She says Babe isn’t doing well but she’ll be fine now that Richie is gone. They chat for a bit and then Krystal stands to leave. She sees Dre with Cassandra and points the couple out to Jesse and Angie. They watch Cass for a while and then Jesse brings up the case, saying there are still a lot of questions – like who did it! Angie decides to check out the autopsy at the hospital.
Cassandra and Dre arrive for breakfast; both are nervous because of the kiss. Krystal comes over and asks about the lodge visit. Dre says they got bored and came back early; she says she is proud they didn’t make it a big house-party. She says she has to get to Babe and leaves the morning paper for them to read. Cassandra rattles on about their party as Dre reads. He says they may not have hit a deer – they may have hit Richie! Cass freaks out but when Angie comes over manages to hide her distress. She says the lodge was boring so they all came back early; Angie says what good girls Cass and Colby are! When she leaves, Cassandra calls Colby and says they have to talk.
Colby slowly makes her way downstairs but avoids the sitting room where JR and Babe are talking about Richie. Babe is still out of sorts but JR reassures her as Adam walks in and basically blames Babe for all of Richie’s bad deeds. Colby walks in and tries to get away before Adam sees her but she isn’t fast enough. She says she has a bug and then Adam goes off on a tangent about Richie being killed and Babe being kidnapped. Babe tells her about the hit-and-run. JR interrupts and sends Adam out. He tells Colby to get some water and go back upstairs and he will take care of her. Then he tells her not to do anything like this again. Krystal arrives as Adam returns to the room. She says little A is fine. She is very tense with Adam and Babe wonders what is going on. When JR takes Adam from the room, Krystal tells her about the kiss. She says it was a mistake and won’t happen again. She turns the conversation back to Richie and says he deserves what he got. She convinces Babe to come back to Tad’s for a while but JR doesn’t like that idea. Krystal gives them time to talk and JR asks why she wants to leave. He says he isn’t Adam but he understands that Babe staying at the mansion would make Krystal unhappy. He decides to help her pack. She says she isn’t leaving!
On her way out of the mansion, Krystal runs into Adam. He says their kiss was not a mistake and asks for another kiss!
In the penthouse, Ryan calls the airport to set up pick up times for Richie’s body; it will be sent back to Chicago where Walter lives. Annie listens sadly and then says he didn’t deserve that kind of death. Kendall and Zach arrive to offer their support. Annie plays the victim a little bit and Kendall hugs her. Ryan asks Zach about finding Richie. Zach says he didn’t kill the man. They return inside and Zach begins to wonder why Annie is acting so strangely. Kendall tells him about Annie’s missing ring and he says it isn’t a big deal. The more Kendall talks and the more he listens to Annie, though, the more questions Zach has. When Kendall and Ryan leave, Zach tells Annie she can tell him anything. She says there is nothing to tell. Kendall and Ryan return and Annie says she has to go to the hospital. They all go together.
Jesse runs into Angie a while later at the hospital. She tells him about a nurse who left the hospital right after working on Richie and wonders how the woman could have retired so quickly. Jesse wonders, too, and when Angie returns to the autopsy room, he calls for an update on the case.
