Desperately Seeking Annie! Thursday, July 03 2008

Annie helps Richie escape, Aidan and Zach decide to search alone, Jesse questions Annie's loyalties and Colby gets really drunk.

Ryan arrives home, looking for Annie but she isn't there. He finds her note about the movies just as Jesse arrives. He wants to see Annie, too! Ryan asks about news on the Richie search; Jesse updates him and says he needs to talk to Annie because she is Richie's only link. Ryan can't believe Jesse still wants to question her; Jesse says it is just procedure. Ryan shows him the note. Jesse and Ryan take separate calls; Jesse doesn't believe Annie's note about the movie and decides to go to all the theaters to search for her. Ryan doesn't want to share information but Jesse keeps pressing him for answers. Jesse says Richie could have taken Annie, too, and implies that Annie might even be in on it with him! Ryan defends Annie over and over but Jesse still has doubts. He calls a uniform detail to begin searching theaters. Jesse leaves, saying it will help them find Richie if they can find Annie.

In the cabin, Annie cuts Richie loose. They make it to her car and Richie tells her that Zach was the one who beat him up in prison. Annie tells Richie to shut up and is very worried about being found out. She asks why he didn't just leave town. Richie says he was forced into Plan B - kidnapping Babe. They argue about who is more wrong. Annie tells him he is crazy to think Babe would want him again. Richie says she is just jealous of him! Annie drives off. Richie tells her to stop worrying about Ryan because he doesn't really love her anyway. He says he is the only person who ever loved her! They argue about who is to blame for their dysfunctional family. Frustrated, Annie orders Richie to get out of her car. Annie calls Ryan, who is about to leave the penthouse. She says she is fine and doesn't know where Richie is when he asks. She says she'll be home soon. When she hangs up, she looks at the empty seat beside her.

On the porch Kendall, Greenlee and Babe are none the wiser and still waiting for Zach to arrive. Aidan, JR and Zach arrive, relieved to see them okay. Kendall tells them about finding Richie and hearing Babe screaming from inside. They say they couldn't wait. Zach is very upset and so is Aidan. He wants to call the cops but Zach doesn't. JR takes Babe aside to tell her how relieved he is. She says she wants to see Little A. Zach and Aidan go inside - but Richie is gone! He and Aidan search. The women are stunned. Zach realizes the ropes were cut; Kendall looks for the knife but it is gone, too. Everyone worries about what he'll do next. Zach, JR and Aidan hurry out, leaving the women alone. They hear noises on the porch. It's Aidan! All three men return. Aidan calls Jesse to tell him about capturing Richie but then losing him again. Kendall and Babe want to go home so Aidan volunteers to drive them. Zach decides to stay behind; JR tells him to take care of Richie - for good! JR, Babe, Zach and Aidan leave. Kendall wonders if they did the right thing.

Colby drinks more and more as the night wears on. She and Dre dance in the living room as Corrinna and Cassandra watch, talking about their dating possibilities. Corrinna and Ren just started dancing and Cass is starting to think about dating Dre. Colby switches from dancing with Dre to dancing with Ren, upsetting Corrinna. Ren sits down and tells Colby to stop with the drinks; she doesn't want to stop. Dre takes Ren aside and tells him Corrinna is getting upset. Corrinna wants to leave; she and Ren prepare to leave but Colby says they can't leave so soon. Corrinna and Ren argue about what he was doing with Colby and she storms out alone. Ren follows. "More drinks for me!" Colby says happily. Colby wants to play drinking games but Dre and Cass aren't interested. She plays by herself and then makes a toast to lost loves. She gets dizzy so Cass leads her to a chair. Colby starts rambling about Dre and Cass liking each other. Dre and Cass try getting Colby to the car as Adam calls. Cassandra runs interference.

Adam searches the mansion for JR but he is missing. He runs into Carmen in her new maid's uniform - she fixed up his usual uniform by cutting a deep V-neck and adding ruffles. Adam says this is unacceptable but she says they can work with it. She follows him into the study and says she won't tell anyone that he talks to himself or anything else. Carmen asks if Adam's ever been locked up in prison, he says he's been locked up but not in prison and then says it is none of her business. Carmen says she was just trying to be nice. They talk about family; Adam says she'll see how much his family loves him. He sends her to her room. She returns a while later with another revamped uniform and begs for work. Adam has her pour him a drink and starts talking about Krystal. When he realizes what he did he tells Carmen to get out.

After talking to Aidan, Jesse rounds up the search crews and they head for the cabin. A uniformed officer calls in to report that there is no sign of Annie at any of the theaters. He puts an APB out on Annie's car.
