All My Children - DAILY UPDATES

Jonathan is at Confusion discussing Lily over the phone with Erica. She explains that Jack is bringing her home that night. Jonathan asks if she would mind if he called just to check on her. Erica doesn't mind at all. She apologizes for Jack taking so long to come around about him. She hangs up when Jack comes in with Lily.

Erica welcomes Lily home. Lily is not responsive. Erica mentions that Jonathan called. Lily freaks. Sean comes to greet Lily. Lily doesn't respond. Sean apologizes for his part in Lily's problems. Jack steps in when Sean mentions at least Terry is dead. He whisks her out of the room but not before Lily tells Sean, "You can be nice but you make my head hurt."

Sean tells Erica he is sorry. Jack filled him in on how to handle Lily. He tried his best but he's just "a red kind of guy." At least he won't be around to bother her any more. Erica assumes he is leaving town. On the contrary, he's enrolling into P.V. High. That's what he meant about being out of Lily's way. Erica is not amused.

Jack talks on the phone to the autism specialist. He explains that she is going to help them reach out to Lily. He senses something is bothering Erica. She is upset that Jack never mentioned Sean staying in town. She reminds him of their promise at their wedding about not letting their children interfere with their marriage.


Jack tells Erica he loves her and their marriage is everything to him. Erica feels the same way but their children are overwhelming their lives. Jack won't turn his back on Sean. Erica understand that and how Lily needs him now. Her children need her too. It's just that she feels like she's being swallowed up, one crisis at a time. She loves being a mother but it has never defined her. She doesn't feel like herself any more. The launch party for New Beginnings is coming up. She realizes Jack can't be with her because of Lily. She thinks this the perfect time to take a break. Call it a business trip. Jack is worried it is more than that.

Zach will not let Derek arrest Tad for perjury. He and Dixie will confess to the murder of Madden. That means Tad isn't guilty of perjury. And because of the double jeopardy law, he can't arrest them again. Derek is angry. He feels he was played by all three of them. He has no choice but to let Tad go. As he leaves, he ask how do they sleep at night. Zach answers "like a baby."

Zach want to celebrate. Tad feels nothing by remorse. The two men argue about the correct reaction for the events that have taken place. Dixie steps in to referee. "It's over," she says. The last thing they need is for the two of them to be at each other's throat. Tad politely shows them the door. On her way out, Dixie thanks him for everything he did for her.

At the casino, Dixie invites Zach in for a drink. He declines. She says she needs to talk with him because she knows he knows who did it. He comes in. She wants to know if he is the one who made the CD of Madden in the box. He did but he didn't plant it on J.R. She's glad. She offers to move out of the casino. Zach tells her it isn't necessary.

Ryan joins Kendall at her place. Kendall is ranting about Zach. After her big discussion with Zach, she now knows more about her husband than she cares or needs to know. If they stay together—and that's a big if—she doesn't know if she can handle it. She wishes she had stayed in denial. Zach will always horrify her. All Ryan wants to know is if she found what really happened on the night Madden died. Kendall admits she did to her horror.

Kendall doesn't like the kind of example Zach will set for her son. She doesn't know why she is so surprised. He was the one that caused the blackout that set everything into motion. Ryan won't defend Zach but he is glad about the blackout. If it wasn't for that, there wouldn't have been baby Spike.

The one thing Kendall is 100% sure about is that Spike is the love of her life. Ryan dittos that. She promises Ryan a drama free zone. Ryan likes that. He doesn't want to be involved in any of her marriage woe. Kendall confesses that she is "no where near done with Zach."

Her problem is that she still loves Zach no matter how horrible a person he is. The difference is that she always believed his motives were good. Ryan calls it "the heart behind the darkness." Kendall agrees but now she knows there is no heart, just pure hate and that makes her sick. It scares her until he looks at her. Part of her wants to hold onto the love she sees in his eyes. Another part of her wants to run far away and never look back. She asks Ryan for advice. He has none. It's all her decision. She doesn't know what to do. She hates what he's done but she still loves him. Ryan tells her she will know in time and leaves abruptly.

Ryan returns with food-a lot of food. He was hungry and he brought it back to share.

Josh questions Jeff about his new living arrangements at Pine Valley Inn. Jeff admits he moved there to be closer to him. Josh appreciates Jeff's support at the trial, but he isn't ready to bond with him. Jeff still offers him and ear if he wants to talk about anything—sports, politics, etc. Josh must have taken him up on his offer because they're in the hotel room and Jeff is telling him all about Tad the Cad and about his roller coaster marriage to Erica. Josh decides to ask him what would he do if he loved a married woman.

Jeff's advice is to find out more about the husband. If he is an ass, then he would fight like hell for her. Josh says for his first paternal advice, he nailed it.

As Jeff leaves the hotel room, he runs into Erica checking in.

Josh has returned to Confusion. He tells Babe he is going to fight for her.

Jamie drops in on his dad. Tad tells him it's over. Dixie is free. Jamie is worried about Tad. Tad says they will just have to live with it. He asks Jamie if he can handle that. Jamie says he can. He will be there for him. "Now what," he asks. It is obvious Tad and Jamie share the secret.
