Tad tells Kathy the truth, Krystal admits her feelings to Adam, JR and Babe decide a course of action, Richie blackmails Annie, Kendall and Greenlee have problems on the tennis court.
At the Yacht Club, Kendall meets Greenlee for their tennis match. She is thrown by Greenlee's new, Zen attitude and good mood. She realizes Greenlee has slept with someone but Greens won't say who. While they are waiting for their other opponents, Kendall and Greenlee play against each other. Kendall can't forget about Greenlee's insinuations about Zach.
Across the way, Zach and Aidan meet. Aidan says he wants to quit the job with Cambias! He confronts Zach about his true reasons for hiring him - Kendall and the one night stand! Zach says he hired Aidan to figure out what kind of man he really was and then warns him to stay away from Kendall. They arrive at the tennis court just as Kendall serves - and hits Greenlee in the face with the ball! Zach and Aidan rush to help Greens but she will only accept help from Zach. Kendall apologizes but Greenlee is certain she wanted to hurt her; just like sleeping with Aidan hurt her! Greenlee goes on about being hurt and then turns the tables. She says her good mood was no accident and insinuates that she slept with someone. Then, Greens says she kept it all "in the family". Kendall wonders what that means.
At the Chandler manse, Adam turns around to see Dixie there. She says he has saved his soul; Adam doesn't care about his soul. He goes on and on about losing JR and Colby. Dixie brings up Krystal but Adam won't talk about her either. Dix says he has taken the hardest step and just needs to continue on the right path. Just then Krystal arrives. "Never give up hope," Dixie says and disappears. Adam tries to push her away but Krystal won't leave. She says she wanted to hate him. "But you came through for Tad and for Kathy," she says and tells him she heard him with Kathy at the hospital. She touches his face and says he helped her see the man she fell in love with! Adam is shocked. She says she still can't trust him, though, and that she does love Tad. Adam says they can be the way they once were but she won't listen. Krystal runs out. Adam hears Dixie, again, tell him to keep the faith.
Joe brings Tad into the chapel. Kathy arrives with Opal. Joe and Opal leave them alone. Tad helps Kathy pray for Julia; in the prayer, Tad thanks Julia for taking great care of Kathy and says he misses her. "I love you, Aunt Julia and I'm being good," Kathy says. After the prayer, Tad leads Kathy to the chairs. Tad talks about the day they first met and says they liked each other because they have a connection. He talks a little more about their past and then tells her about losing his daughter 6 years ago. "That little girl. . .you were right," he says, "I'm your father." Kathy asks who she'll live with and Tad says she'll live with him. She'll be Jenny's big sister and JR and Jamie's little sister and little A's aunt. Tad says she can call him daddy now and gets a little weepy. They hug. Opal and Joe return and are introduced to Kathy as her grandparents. Opal invites Kathy on a park outing so Tad can rest. When they are gone, Tad tells Joe how surreal this has felt. Joe tells him he needs to rest but Tad stays in the chapel to talk to Dixie. "Wherever you are, I hope you can hear me. We did it," he says. Tad thanks Dixie for helping them find Kate and wishes she was still with him. Dix appears and touches his face. Tad can see her!
JR meets Babe at her condo. They begin brainstorming ways of getting the goods on Richie. Babe wants to be very careful; JR says they should bring in Zach. He reminds Babe of Zach's accident and the bomb shelter, saying that Richie could have been behind everything. JR kisses her but Babe turns away, saying sex isn't the answer for their problems. JR agrees and then says he is moving back in! "No," Babe says. JR brings up Richie, saying she isn't safe as long as Richie is on the loose; Babe says they can't keep disrupting little A's life by moving in and moving out. JR agrees to step back and concentrate on the Richie issue. He leaves.
At the penthouse, Richie pushes Annie's buttons about her pregnancy plans. She says he'll never prove it. Holding her doctor's note, he says this is all the proof he needs. She threatens to call the cops about another break-in but he calls her bluff and says he is moving in - with her! Opal kicked him out for looking through her jewelry. Annie says there is no way she'll let him move in and there is no way she is giving him any money. Richie says she'll give him the cash and a roof over his head or he'll go to Ryan. Annie takes out her checkbook. Richie leaves.
JR finds Richie, hits him and then takes him to a warehouse.
