Adam and Tad face off, Greenlee cuts away at Kendall's confidence, Jake tells Joe he is no longer with Caroline, JR refuses to give up Chandler, Zach and Jake argue about Africa.
Greenlee arrives at Fusion; Kendall is there and brings up a magazine interview set for that morning. Greenlee snippily says she knows how to do an interview. She pokes at Kendall about the one night stand. The reporter calls in for their interview and Greenlee takes point, talking up the Fusion brand. The reporter flips the questions and asks how their friendship helped solidify their company. She keeps pushing, trying to find out how each woman would react if the other woman did something behind her back. Kendall cuts off the reporter. They go back to work and Greenlee begins cutting away at Kendall's confidence in Zach. She says they may not have slept together but they shared several very intimate moments in the bomb shelter. She keeps pushing, saying she is now Zach's best friend - not Kendall! "All we had was each other and total truth," she says. Kendall says she already knows everything about Zach and Greenlee just smiles.
Joe and Jake have a drink together at Fusion. Joe admits how worried he was for Tad and how grateful he is that Jake is back. He asks him to come by the house for dinner but Jake turns him down. He says he has to return to Africa as soon as possible. Zach walks up and says he won't be returning to Africa - at least not as a Cambias employee! "If you go back to Africa, you're dead," he says! Zach explains about the rebel leader's death and the bounty now on Jake's head. That doesn't change Jake's mind. Joe angrily tells Jake to listen but Jake won't. Zach takes Jake aside to ask about Caroline but Jake won't talk about her either. In fact, he says his family doesn't need to know anything about Africa - or Caroline! Jake goes back to Joe, apologizes but says he can't stay away from Africa. He finally admits to Joe that he isn't with Caroline any longer. Joe leaves as Greenlee walks in. Jake tries to brush her off but Greens won't take no for an answer and sits down with him.
Babe and Amanda meet at Amanda's yacht. Babe goes through the sleazy clothes from the Fusion supplier but doesn't find anything quite "hooker worthy". Amanda tries to change her mind but Babe plows right on, certain that she can get the goods on Richie from Treena. Babe gets dressed, using her black bob wig and the sleaziest clothes she can find. "You look cheap and easy," Amanda says. Babe programs their cell phones for emergencies and tells Amanda to call her Candy. Amanda keeps watch at the park while Babe fends off advances from a guy. He leaves and Treena walks up!
JR tells Adam to get out of Tad's room but Krystal intervenes, saying the men need to talk. She leads JR out as Adam tells Tad to let him have it. When Tad doesn't go on the attack, Adam tries to rile him up by saying he didn't deserve to find Kate because Tad stole Charlotte/Jenny from him. Tad still doesn't respond. Tad says Adam should trust his children and not try to turn them into Adam-Clones. Adam just keeps pushing, asking Tad how long he is going to keep coming after Adam's family. He goes on and on about Tad's sins - from keeping JR from Adam to keeping JR's child a secret to stealing Charlotte. Tad points out that all of Adam's children have practically run screaming from him before Tad ever stepped in, then he pulls back and tells Adam he wants to stop the fighting. Tad brings up Dixie and says he is glad she helped Adam do the right thing. "Thank you," Tad says and they shake hands. "But I still hate your guts." Adam smiles and walks out.
In the hall, JR worries what Adam might say to Tad. While JR is getting coffee, Krystal calls to check on Kathy. Ruth reports that the kiddo is doing fine. JR returns, still upset about Adam and all the craziness that has been going on. He brings up Richie suddenly and tells Krystal he has to make him pay. Krystal tries to convince him to leave Richie alone. JR believes this is the only way to clear his name and win Babe's heart. She says he should concentrate on just being a friend and not a lover to Babe. JR asks if she is really talking about Adam! Krystal returns to Tad's side to report in about Kathy. Tad talks about all the love in his heart for Kate and wonders how he can tell her the truth. Krystal tells him to rest but then Tad tells her about his conversation with Adam. He says he couldn’t be mad at the man, surprising Krystal. She says Tad can't just forgive and forget!
JR is at the mansion when Adam arrives. He says he won't forgive Adam but he will still work with him at Chandler. Adam says he is ready to take back the CEO reigns, angering JR. He says he won't let Adam take over! JR presses him about seeing Dixie and what will happen if and when she comes back. Adam says that isn't a problem. Just then Barry calls about a news article. The piece is about Adam's breakdown!
Kendall returns home to find Zach on the sofa. She throws her jacket and bag down. "I could kill her!" Kendall exclaims. She starts to tell Zach about Greens' insinuations but then doesn't. She talks about the interview instead. She kisses him, says she loves him and how lucky she feels to have him in her life. Kendall goes to get drinks but Zach is curious about what really went on, especially when she brings up her plans for the evening - going out for take out and then taking a bubble bath together. "Why are you trying to play me?" he asks.
