Jake and Frankie bond over war stories. Greenlee may not want children. Kendall and Zach visit Erica, who makes a mistake with Jack. Cassandra grows distant with Angie and Jesse. Rob focuses his attentions on Cass. Annie refuses to believe Ryan.

Ryan pulls away from Annie at the stables. She wonders what is going on. "I remember you," he says! He describes the night they made love in the stables but Annie is afraid to believe him. He has another memory flash, this time of her falling off the saddle and into the water trough. Annie realizes he is really recovering some memories of her. Ryan asks what finally convinced her that their love was perfect. She says it took some time but she finally just gave in. He wants to remember more but the flashes stop. He kisses her and they make love. After, Ryan thinks about their relationship.

At the hospital, Frankie catches up with Aidan. They continue on to Jake's room and hear Greenlee calling for help. Frankie rushes in and with Aidan's help gets Jake back in bed. Frankie asks for more tests as Aidan pulls a few beers from a bag; Frankie joins in as they make a toast. The tests return and show that Jake's vitals are all over the place. He tries convincing Frankie that he's fine. Jake wants more to drink but Frankie cuts him off. Aidan and Greenlee leave, saying they'll continue the celebration once Jake's back on his feet. When they are alone, Frankie asks what is really going on. Frankie tells him about Iraq, saying the longer he stayed there, the more he felt he was going to die. Jake talks about trying to save the people wounded by the rebel raids; he says it turned him into a robot. Tired, Jake asks Frankie for some time alone. Frankie tells Jake to give his family some time because they just might save his life. Jake dreams of bombs exploding and then a woman's voice tells him goodbye. He wakes up.

In the hall, Greenlee asks Aidan if he noticed that Jake wasn't all there. Aidan says he just needs time but Greens is very worried. She says he better not get the same look in his eyes that Jake has. Aidan says she has nothing to worry about. They begin talking about children and Greenlee tells him she isn't sure she wants kids. Aidan is thrown. She says she isn't saying no, but she needs time. He hugs her.

Jack arrives at the prison to see Carmen; his briefcase is searched as Kendall and Zach arrive to see Erica. The guard takes all of their cell phones as Jack asks about Aidan and Jake. Zach assures Jack that Aidan is now off the payroll - thanks to Greens. All three are taken to the meeting rooms. Erica and Carmen are waiting. Carmen flirts with Jack and Erica tells Jack to watch out. Jack takes Carmen aside to discuss her case as Erica asks about Jake's rescue. They assure her that things are fine with Jake and on all levels of their relationship. Kendall shows her mother's day cards from the boys. Across the room, Jack tells Carmen that she has a real shot at beating the charges against her. Carmen says Jack has a chance to win Erica back! He tries to tell her about the case but she won't talk about anything but Erica. Kendall and Zach gather their things and leave. Jack follows them. From inside the prison, Erica calls Kendall - but Jack answers! Their cell phones were mixed up! Erica doesn't wait for Jack to say anything, she just rattles on about putting the past to rest and making sure Greenlee never finds out about the one night stand. A guard makes her hang up. Jack is stunned by the revelation!

At the penthouse, Cassandra is searching for the stuffed elephant but can't find it. Rob is watching from across the street and listening through the bug he planted. Cass walks into the kitchen to find Angie and Jesse kissing. She turns around but Angie asks her to stay. Cass tells them she is searching for something but won't tell them what. Angie gets into wedding planning mode and asks for Cassandra's input on centerpieces and table settings. Cassandra doesn't have an opinion, annoying Angie. Finally, Cass makes a decision. Jesse wonders what is going on. Angie asks about Cass's dress. Cass changes the subject, saying she knows where to look for the missing object; she walks out. Across the street, Rob calls his diamond broker and promises to have more jewels soon. Angie and Jesse look at a few more dresses but then she is called away. Cass returns and still hasn't found the elephant. Jesse stops her on the way out, asking for her opinion on a wedding song. Cassandra doesn’t want to give her opinion so Jesse goads her. Angie leaves for the hospital but Jesse won't let Cass leave!
