Aidan reacts badly to Zach's assignment; so does Greenlee. Erica begins to freak out in solitary confinement. Kendall wonders what Zach is really up to. Cassandra gets comfortable at the apartment. Adam is losing his mind - or is he?
Cassandra says she has thought of Jesse as a hero but now she can see he's also just a normal guy. Jesse says he has a few stories about her, too, and things settle down as they all get acquainted. In her room, Cassandra makes Frankie promise not to do anything crazy - like joining the Army and going to Iraq - again! Angie leaves to check on Jesse's dinner-making skills. Alone, Frankie says Jesse is the best medicine for Angie. He asks about Jacob and Cassandra says his music career is going well. She won't let him see her poems or sketches, insisting that the more adventures she has the better artist she will be. Back in the kitchen, Angie breaks down a little because their family is whole again. The mail arrives and Jesse learns he is officially back from the dead - complete with a back taxes request from the IRS and a driver's license. Angie says the only thing missing is a marriage certificate. The kids come in and Angie asks them to take part in the wedding.
Erica, in solitary confinement, is beginning to feel the stress. A guard delivers food but won't speak at all. With no one else to talk to, she distracts herself by pretending to tape an episode of New Beginnings. She then daydreams about being on the French Riviera with Kendall. Erica changes the daydream to one of Jackson, telling her he still loves her. They kiss and he leads her to a dance floor. She wakes, more stressed out than ever. Pacing, Erica sees a ladybug and begins talking to it. She names the bug Gwendolyn. The bug flies away and Erica starts to freak out. She begs the bug to come back and cries.
Aidan can't believe his first job is in the Sudan region of Africa. He asks why it is so important that he lead the search and rescue team. Zach reminds Aidan of his special ops training but Aidan still thinks there is another reason. Zach says he can always refuse but asks him not to.
Greenlee meets Jack at the Yacht Club. He has flowers and a blank check for her to pay for the perfect wedding. He asks if anything might hamper the wedding and Greenlee says Ryan is just her friend! They talk about her plans a little and then Jack mentions Erica, which sets Greenlee off. She says Jack is still too wrapped up in La Kane! Aidan arrives and is shocked to see Jack's blank check. Jack is distracted by a phone call and leaves quickly. When they are alone, Aidan says he can't stay for lunch and tells her about the hostage situation. "You're not going," she says, worried. He says he cannot refuse the assignment. He swears he'll come back to her.
Carmen calls Jack's office. She tells him that Erica has been sent to solitary confinement.
Josh visits Kendall at Fusion. She teasingly asks who he is. He apologizes and says work has been hectic. Kendall is stunned when Josh says a worker has been kidnapped from their relief project in the Sudan. He asks about Erica and Kendall updates him. After, she asks about the hostage situation and is startled when Josh says Zach is sending in Aidan! Kendall goes to see Zach and asks why he is sending Aidan. Zach insists Aidan's special skills are needed. Reporters call but Zach holds them off. Greenlee bursts into the office and asks why Zach is trying to kill Aidan!
Adam has an electrician come in to check his stereo. The worker says there is no way the stereo turned itself on. Colby suggests that it was a different stereo but Adam insists it wasn't. JR walks in and is surprised to learn that Adam's has been hearing "You Are My Sunshine". He thinks Adam is making it up. Adam freaks when JR pours a glass of water; he tells the kids about the glass moving across the room on its own. JR tells Adam to get out; to soften the blow, Colby reminds Adam that he needs to call Chandler Enterprises. Colby turns on JR, but he brings up Dixie and says Adam is just trying to get to him. Sadly, JR says he visited Dixie's grave. Colby says Adam isn't lying; she believes he might be crazy! Adam returns and sends JR off to talk to Barry. Colby tells him about JR's visit to Dixie's grave. Adam goes off on a tangent about how Dixie poisoned JR against him! JR returns and goes over the business dealings; Adam agrees with everything that is said. Colby follows JR out and asks him to give Adam another chance. Back in the sitting room, a picture of Dixie falls from a table.
