Jesse finds a stuffed elephant in his coffin. Zach burns his hand. Cassandra announces she is returning to Pine Valley. Erica is placed in solitary confinement. Strange things begin happening to Adam.
Adam is sleeping in a chair at the manse. He wakes and sees the curtains moving but no one answers when he calls out. Then he realizes that all the buttons are missing from his shirt. Adam takes the shirt off and is checking the doors when JR walks in. Adam tells him about the missing buttons but JR doesn't think anything of it. Instead he tells Adam that the board meeting went well but is annoyed when Adam doesn't praise his efforts. JR takes the papers from him, saying that the contract is fine. Adam takes a pill, which makes JR wonder what is going on. They argue about JR taking over some of Adam's duties. Seeing that Adam isn't going to give up any control, JR storms out. Adam pours a drink but the glass slides away from him - and then smashes against the fireplace! The stereo turns on and Adam can't turn it off!
In prison, Erica presents her plans to the inmates. As they are talking, Carmen hears raised voices. Outside the prison a protest is going on. "Freedom for Erica," the protesters chant! As the women watch, R&B group B5 begins to perform! The inmates begin dancing, enjoying the show. After the show, Erica is called into the warden's office. She goes over Erica's plans and then questions her about bringing Jack and Samuel in on the plans. Annoyed, the warden asks where Erica gets off saying she isn't doing a good job! She tells Erica that there have been more threats and that she is going to be kept in solitary confinement for her own safety!
Zach and Kendall watch as Sylvester's house burns. They walk to the bomb shelter and Zach tells her how badly he felt when he was away. He apologizes but she says there is no need. They watch the flames a while longer and then Kendall walks away. Zach takes a piece of burned wood from the ground as Kendall runs back and asks why he is trying to hurt himself. He can't answer. They go home and Kendall doctors his burned hand. She kisses his hand. They make love. After, Zach pulls Aidan's job file from his briefcase, then he looks at Kendall.
When Jesse's coffin is opened the only thing inside is an old stuffed toy of Frankie's that has been ripped open! Frankie remembers getting the toy the day Jesse was shot and says he placed it on the coffin at the funeral. Angie starts to freak out. Jesse calms her down but then asks Tad why Papel would have the toy ripped up and placed in the coffin. None of them notice Rob is still watching them. Jesse turns back to the grave marker and promises to have it destroyed very soon. They leave but Tad stays behind. He goes to Dixie's grave and apologizes for not being able to find Kate. He asks for her guidance. He returns home to find Jesse and crew waiting with Krystal. Rob arrives. Tad tells him to get out; Rob drops his keys and plants a bug before leaving. Angie confesses that the toy Frankie threw into the grave wasn't the toy from Jesse! She switched toys; Rob is listening. Krystal and Jesse ask where the real toy is. Angie remembers she gave the toy to Cassandra but doesn't remember if Cassandra kept it or gave it away. Jesse thinks they have to find the toy. Tad agrees to help. Angie tells Jesse to stop obsessing and seeing how upset she is he says he'll back off. Cassandra calls and announces that she is going to come for a visit! Angie is excited and Cassandra says she'll be there tomorrow.
In her Paris apartment, Cassandra packs up a few things - including a stuffed toy elephant.
Back at the cemetery, Robert turns off the bug and swears they won't cheat him!
