Greenlee offers Aidan an expensive gift. Kendall and Zach are still uncomfortable around one another. Joe offers Tad advice. Angie diagnoses Adam's attacks.
JR and Babe arrive at the hospital. They hear him yelling for a "real" doctor when Frankie tries to help. Angie goes inside as Adam is berating Frankie, and tells him to calm down. Angie returns to lead them inside so they can all talk to Adam about his latest episode. JR says Adam is at fault because he didn't follow doctor's orders the first time. Angie cuts in and asks what Adam has been doing lately and Colby chimes in that he has been lounging around in his jammies most days. Angie turns to Adam and asks what is really going on with him. He admits that he thought he was having a heart attack and it's happened before. Angie says he is likely having panic attacks. He angrily says he isn't afraid of anything and then has another attack! Angie medicates Adam and while he is feeling no pain says he has to do something to deal with the stress in his life. Colby goes outside with Frankie, who warns Colby that Adam needs to take the stress diagnosis seriously. Back inside, Adam tells Krystal, JR, Colby and Babe to get out. JR and Colby stay with him but Krystal and Babe leave the room. They commiserate about not being able to leave the Chandler men behind. Back in the hospital room, Colby and JR offer him a deal: if he'll follow doctor's orders to the letter, they will stop being so hot-headed and stressful for him. Angie returns and gives Adam the name of a psychologist who can help him. Adam wads up the paper and tells JR to take him home. Krystal grabs him and begs him to try the psychologist. He runs his fingers along his jaw and then tells JR to drive him home.
At the penthouse, Greenlee and Aidan are talking about the guest list. They agree it should be a family event but Aidan wonders if she doesn't want a big wedding because of Ryan. She says she wants the day to be all about them. He kisses her. She runs off to get a gift - a very expensive watch. This brings home to Aidan the difference in their economic status and he tells her to get a prenup! Greenlee is stunned. He says he doesn't care about her money but a prenup still makes good sense. They kiss.
Annie finds Ryan working on his motorcycle and offers to help. He says he likes getting to know her this way but when he brings up Greenlee's first motorcycle driving lesson, Annie gets quiet. Ryan apologizes and Annie says there is no need because it doesn't bother her any longer. "Any memory you get I consider a godsend," she says and asks him to tell her more about biking. As they are chatting Corrinna brings Emma to the garage. Ryan suggests that all three of them take the bike to the beach for the day. She agrees to the plan. They arrive at the beach a while later with a picnic lunch. Emma goes to play in the sand while Ryan starts a fire. After toasting marshmallows, Emma leaves to finish her sandcastle. Annie is stiff after riding the motorcycle so Ryan gives her a neck massage. "You're trying really hard to love me," she says softly.
Zach brings Kendall coffee as she is waking. He is about to leave for the office when she says they need to talk. He doesn't want to talk anymore. She asks about Greenlee. Zach says Greenlee is Aidan's problem and she doesn't need to do anything. He goes on to say that nothing can make him stop loving her. He leaves for work but Kendall is still upset. She has just arrived at work when Greenlee walks in on cloud nine. Kendall jabbers on about the Charm sales numbers. Greenlee hints about the engagement ring but Kendall's oblivious so Greenlee tells her that she's engaged. Greenlee chats about her plans, including having Kendall and Zach as the attendants. This upsets Kendall, which Greenlee finds odd. Kendall covers, saying that she's just overly emotional lately. Greens starts to call Zach for a double-date. "Don't," Kendall exclaims!
Josh walks in to Zach's office, upset that he has been taking so much time off. He says it is starting to annoy their business partners, especially those in Darfur. Zach strikes back, saying he doesn't need an assistant or a babysitter. Josh realizes something big is going on and offers to take some of the load off Zach's shoulders. He leaves. Zach pours a drink and stares at his family photos. He folds the pictures together and then throws his glass at the wall! A while later Aidan walks in and says they need to talk. Aidan tells an angry Zach about the engagement. He shows Zach the watch and says he wants to be able to give Greenlee gifts like that. "And that is where you come in," he says and asks if Zach's job offer still stands!
Tad and Joe are having lunch at BJ's. Joe asks what is really going on with Tad. He says things are fine but Jesse returning from the dead has him thinking about Dixie. He is also worried about Robert. Joe says Rob is nothing like Ray and could be a good guy but Tad remains wary. Tad changes the subject to the kids and wonders if he'll ever find Kate. Joe reassures him, saying that he is a fine father. Tad realizes that his marriage to Krystal is strong even though it isn't a love-match like his relationship with Dixie. Joe leaves for work. Jesse calls.
