Kendall worries about Erica. Erica has the chance to ditch Carmen. Ryan tries to talk to Annie. Aidan surprises Greenlee at the beach. JR has Hepatitis A. Opal gives Richie a Tarot reading!
Outside JR's hospital room, Babe talks to Krystal. Angie returns and says JR has Hepatitis A. Babe is more worried than ever. Angie says they still need to know about the punctures in his hip but that the real worry is that the antibiotics aren't working yet.
In the hospital room, Adam visits JR, who believes Adam has ulterior motives and tells him to leave. Adam won't go. JR, delirious and agitated, asks for Dixie. Babe and Krystal hurry in as he begs to see his mom. Babe takes the lead and tells him Dixie can't come to him right now. JR thinks Dixie is staying away because she doesn't believe in him either! Babe tells him she believes in him. JR finally sleeps. When he wakes again the worst of the delirium is gone. He tells Babe he loves her as she cries. JR says they should go back to San Diego and get married again. "I'd do that every day if I could," he says. Babe says it sounds perfect. JR swears things are different this time and that he hasn't had a drink since that night at The Comeback. JR goes back to sleep and dreams of that night at the bar. He remembers someone else being there!
Back in the hall, Angie tells Adam and Krystal that JR's infection is making him delirious. She tells Adam about the Hepatitis. Krystal tries to keep Adam calm but he is busy beating himself up over not believing JR from the beginning. Adam returns to JR's room as he wakes from the dream. JR loses consciousness again before he can tell what he remembers.
At Opal's, Richie tries to charm her. She says she can't be charmed and Richie changes his tune quickly. Opal gives him a tarot card reading. He is hot and uncomfortable. She reads, telling Richie the cards are very interested in his past. She says something from the past was stolen and something else was buried. Richie pushes the cards away and angrily tells Opal she is full of it. Opal blows out the candles.
Ryan returns to the penthouse with Emma in tow. Emma asks him to stay for a while. Annie invites Ryan in for a few minutes. He apologizes again for lying. Annie coldly says it doesn't matter. Ryan tells her about his visit with Zach and says he can't believe how horrible he was at times. Annie can't believe he is still focused on Kendall and Greenlee. She says she can't let him pour his emotions out to her and get nothing in return. Ryan realizes Annie isn't wearing her wedding ring and is hurt. She says she won't wear it again until he remembers their life together. Annie says the most important thing now is to protect her daughter; Ryan reminds her that Emma is his, too. "No, she's my daughter," Annie says. Emma returns downstairs with her latest drawings, distracting them. He asks if he can keep the drawing of Erin and then leaves. Annie distracts Emma by talking about her pictures. Emma says Ryan is missing from her pictures and she'll draw him back in when he comes home to stay. Emma goes back upstairs. Annie takes her wedding ring from a box and says she'll always love Ryan.
Ryan, meanwhile, has gone to the cemetery to visit Erin's grave. He wonders what their relationship was like before she died but can't recall anything. Crying, he asks what he is supposed to do now. Ryan remembers their father verbally and physically abusing him as a kid. He promises Erin that he won't give up until he remembers everything.
Greenlee tries to reach Ryan by phone but he doesn't answer. A little panicky, she begs him to call so they can talk again. Aidan walks in, grabs her coat and tells her to follow him. He takes her to the beach where he has recreated their first date! She is touched. They kiss. Greenlee wants to make love but Aidan stops her. He pulls her to her feet and then stoops to one knee. Aidan pulls out a velvet box - and asks Greenlee to marry him! She is stunned. Before she can answer, her phone rings. Greens ignores it but Aidan grabs it and sees that Ryan is calling. He hands the phone to Greenlee.
At the Slater's, Zach tries to get Kendall to talk to him but she is still angry. She doesn't want to talk about Ryan and tries to focus on Erica.
Erica picks the lock of her handcuff with the nail file and then grabs the gun. "And the tables have turned," she says when Carmen wakes. Carmen is stunned and believes Erica is betraying her by trying to get away. Erica points out that she was never along for the ride willingly. Carmen emotionally wishes Erica well and she leaves. In the hall, though, Erica has second thoughts about leaving. She returns and says she is willing to give Carmen a second chance - if she agrees to make some changes. Erica leaves for a second and calls Kendall and Zach, who are ecstatic to hear from her. She promises that she is fine. Zach offers to come and get her but Erica says she wants to stay lost for a while. Kendall can't believe it. Erica hangs up on them. She turns to Carmen and says they have work to do. They go up and down the aisles, looking for makeover items. Then, Erica sits Carmen down and says a new woman is right around the corner.
Kendall hangs up the phone, believing Erica has lost her mind. Zach calls one of his men to trace the number from which Erica called. Zach says everything is going to be okay and kisses her.
