Annie makes a play for Aidan. Kendall turns down Zach's apologies. Ryan asks Greenlee for the truth. Rob spies on Jesse and Tad. Erica and Carmen have a close call.

Outside Greenlee's apartment, Annie thinks back to the harsh things Greens said and then knocks on the door. Aidan answers, shirtless, and Annie says he is just the person she wanted to see. She asks about Greenlee and the kiss; Aidan is uncomfortable, especially when Annie takes off her coat and describes in great detail what the kiss must have been like. "Are you coming on to me?" he asks. Annie admits that she is but only because Greenlee and Kendall are doing everything they can to steal her husband! She tells him to wake up and smell Greenlee running back to Ryan! Aidan gets her talking about Ryan so she'll remember her love for him. It doesn't work. "He doesn't make me feel anything," she says. Aidan quietly says Ryan will come back to her but she doesn't believe him. She doesn't believe that Ryan is trying to get his life back - she thinks he is just being the carefree, playboy Ryan who used to flit between Kendall and Greens. She gathers her things as Aidan apologizes for not being able to help. At the door, Annie warns him that Ryan isn't just being a friend to Greens. Aidan sits down to call Greenlee but then decides to let her call him. Outside, Annie says she deserves much better than Ryan.
In his casino hotel room, Rob locks the diamond away and then decides to let Jesse lead him to the even-bigger diamonds out there. He leaves the room.

Tad, Krystal, Angie and Jesse are celebrating at The Comeback but Jesse can't hide his on-going worry. The others try to convince him that the missing necklace doesn't mean anything but he isn't sure. Krystal gets their food. As they talk, Tad notices Rob across the room and asks Krystal to kiss him. Rob sees them and comes over to say hi. Angie thanks Rob for saving Jesse's life; Robert says it was all in the line of duty but that his duty is over now because he's retired from the Bureau. Jesse thanks him, too. Rob says he is just happy he was in the right place at the right time. Robert asks about the food and Krystal leads him over to the juke box, she apologizes for dragging him away but says Jesse is still uncomfortable. Rob says he'll leave. Before going, he apologizes for bringing up bad memories of Ray and hopes that someday Tad can separate them in his mind. Rob keeps watching them from a distance. Tad is still upset by his uncle until Angie reminds him that if it wasn't for Rob both he and Jesse could have been killed. Just then Samuel Woods calls and asks Jesse to meet him immediately.

In the delivery truck, Carmen points the gun at Erica and tells her to get rid of the truck driver - or she will! Erica begs the man to let them go, saying they were just trying to get home to their families. He recognizes her and remembers the media reports and decides to call the cops. Carmen threatens him but he picks up the phone anyway. Erica says if he calls the cops, he'll go to jail, too! She says the truck is filled with designer fakes, which he just transported over state lines. He gives in and sends them on their way. Carmen leads them to a store that is closing and they sneak in to spend the night. She is disappointed that she's wearing a designer fake; Erica says she's wearing the real thing!

Kendall returns home, surprised to find Zach there. She tells him about her date with Greenlee. Zach tells her about showing Ryan the tapes and revisiting the cliff. Kendall is upset and asks why he did it. Zach says he doesn't trust Ryan and that Ryan's memory is stuck in the past because he wants to be in the past. Kendall can't believe him and says Ryan is doing everything he can to remember. Zach disagrees. He tries to get her to focus on the kids and her mother but Kendall can't stop worrying about Ryan, too. Angry, Kendall tells Zach to stop trying to control her life. Just as mad, he says he wouldn't have to control anything if she would just be honest with him. Zach tries to make things right by apologizing but Kendall storms away from him, saying she doesn't want to be mean like him.

Greenlee is still drinking at ConFusion when Ryan walks in. Ryan's still in a daze. Greenlee is confused until she puts two and two together and realizes Zach must have shown him the tapes. She insists that nothing he did that night was his fault but Ryan disagrees. He says no matter what she did he shouldn't have turned violent. He says he can't remember the past because he doesn't want to remember the bad parts of himself. Greenlee tells him to forget about the tapes because that moment was only one bad moment in hundreds of good ones. He asks her to prove it - by telling him everything about their relationship. Greens says everything was great between them until Jonathan returned to town with the brain tumor. That, she says, is when Ryan decided that his family history was too dark to ever have his own children. This doesn't convince Ryan; he believes more than ever that Zach is right and he is a monster. Greens continues to blame herself for Ryan's actions that night at the casino. She wants to leave but Ryan begs her to tell him the rest. She tells him about the switched eggs and leaving town. Then, she says she returned for him but it was too late for their love. Ryan stands up to leave, ignoring Greenlee's protests that he should stay.
