Ryan cons a hotel worker. Kendall and Aidan's friendship grows. Tad and Angie learn something new from Mrs. Remington. Frankie and Jesse bond. Greenlee is jealous of Kendall. And Annie.

Greenlee and Zach meet at conFusion; he comments on her smell - which is horrible. She says it is the new Charm perfume they are developing. The waiter brings their drinks and Greenlee whines about no assistants and no Ava, who is in Hollywood screen-testing, and goes on and on. Finally she says, "And I hate your wife!" She says Kendall is having all the fun and she hates that. Then tells him about Ryan's break-through with Annie, wondering why he still can't remember her after she kissed him. Zach points out that since she has moved on with Aidan she should be okay with Ryan moving on with Annie. Greens says she doesn't want Ryan for herself but she still wants to have meant something to him. She is finally beginning to feel cheered up. Greenlee says she feels like she can talk to Zach about things she can't talk with Aidan about. She remembers him hugging her after the fashion show and wonders if that is bad. Zach says there are things he doesn't tell Kendall, too. Greens flashes back to the kiss but tells Zach she was thinking about Aidan. She leaves. Zach calls Kendall but gets her voicemail. He says he loves her and hangs up.

Aidan and Kendall return to her hotel room after the book signing. She is still a little freaked by the stalker and worries about Erica. Aidan reminds her that Erica wants her to stay on the book tour. As they are chatting a bellman delivers a lovely dinner and a violinist! Kendall begins to laugh. Aidan says room service got everything mixed up because he just ordered dinner not a romantic dinner. The violinist and bellman leave. Kendall uncovers the dishes and finds oysters and champagne. She talks about writing the book and asks Aidan what his hidden talents are, suggesting that maybe he's a closet poet. They talk about love for a while. When Aidan says he isn't sure how to make things great for Greenlee again, Kendall tells him to make her laugh, quote some poetry and keep her from getting bored. They are chatting and drinking champagne when Kendall asks Aidan to quote some poetry to her. Aidan comes up with a bizarre limerick about Kendall and candles and fires. She laughs. Kendall writes her own poem about Zach but nothing rhymes, not even a little bit. Still, what she creates to describe Zach is filled with love. "Zach is beautiful. He is where I want to be. Always," she says. She and Aidan start playing a soccer game with pillows and chairs. Kendall is horrible at the game so Aidan coaches her and she scores a goal.

Ryan arrives at the LA hotel and flirts with the desk clerk, trying to find out Kendall's room number. When the clerk says Kendall requested not to be disturbed Ryan tries to convince her otherwise. He pleads with the clerk but she won't budge. Finally Ryan says he is there to propose to Kendall! She still won't give in but when she is called away, Ryan tries to break in to her computer. That doesn't work. As Ryan is looking for a password he finds his picture and the note from Aidan! The clerk returns and orders him away from her station. Ryan turns on the charm and keeps trying to convince her to let him through. She won't. When she tries calling security Ryan grabs her hand to stop her. "Are you threatening me?" she asks. Ryan grabs the phone and says he just wants to keep the romantic plan going and shows her a picture of him and Kendall from the past. She isn't moved until Ryan shows a picture of Spike. She gives him a key! Ryan barges in to Kendall's room as Kendall and Aidan wrestle after her soccer goal.
Rob calls his contact from near Tad's office and tells his men to keep Tad under control. The goon draws a gun from his pocket as he watches Tad and Angie.

At Mrs. Remington's, Angie finally makes it inside. Tad steps up to the porch to keep watch but doesn't notice he has a watcher of his own! Inside, Mrs. Remington says Angie broke Remy's heart. Mrs. Remington grabs a shot gun and tells Angie to get out and leave her alone! Tad calls Jesse to check in. As they talk Mrs. Remington, her gun and Angie come onto the porch! Tad tries to explain about his connections to Derek and the investigation and then talks about Dixie's death. Mrs. Remington calms down and invites them back inside. The goon watches them through a window as Mrs. Remington tells Tad and Angie about the last time she saw Remy: it was early morning and he was leaving town on business. She believes Remy was a government agent! Remy gave her a stack of money and left. As she talks, Mrs. Remington remembers Remy left a necklace with a large crystal. She also remembers that soon after his disappearance someone broke in to her home. She reported the break-in but the robber wasn't found. Tad and Angie leave. As they walk to the car, Tad realizes they are being watched.

At the investigation office, Jesse is very jumpy. He leaves but as soon as the door closes, someone grabs him from behind! It's Frankie! He pushes Jesse back inside, reminding him that it isn't safe on the streets. They argue but Frankie won't let Jesse go anywhere. He says losing his dad once was bad enough; he won't let Jesse kill himself by stepping into danger again. Jesse is quiet for a while and Frankie plays video games. He loses and screams, telling Jesse that he is bad at all games because he didn't have a dad to teach him how to play. Jesse says he'll take all the blame Frankie can dish out because at least they are talking now. Frankie lightens up, asking Jesse to teach him how to play pinball. Frankie plays until Jesse sends him home. Jesse opens the door and Rob Gardner is on the other side!
