Rob gives Opal a gift; Opal gives Rob the town history. Richie convinces his doctor's to move him. Joe checks on JR. Colby likes Frankie. Angie meets Mrs. Remington.

JR runs into Colby outside the Martin home. He is woozy and incoherent and then falls over! Colby wants to get JR inside or to the hospital but he insists he is fine. They talk for a while on the porch and Colby asks about his drinking. JR says he hasn't had any alcohol in months but because of his physical state Colby doesn't believe him completely. Colby feels his head and realizes he has a fever; she grabs his arm and takes him to the hospital. At the hospital, Julia checks on JR and says he needs to see Joe. Colby makes JR promise to stay until Joe arrives and then leaves. Joe walks in and begins to check him over. JR tells Joe about how Babe found him but swears he wasn't drinking. Joe doesn't believe him at first but then wonders if JR is telling the truth. He leaves for a second.

In his private hospital, Richie asks his doctors if he can leave yet. The doctor says he has to stay in their care for a while longer, annoying Richie. Treena arrives and tries to flirt with Richie. When she won't leave he grabs her, twists her wrist painfully and says she better watch out! Treena apologizes and when Richie releases her,she backs out of the room. When he is alone, Richie gets out of bed but before he can leave the doctor returns and warns him that he could get sick if he leaves their facility. Richie says he'll only stay in one hospital - in Pine Valley! The doctor agrees and a few hours later Richie is wheeled into Pine Valley Memorial - and right past JR's hospital bed! "Howdy, partner," he says with a smile.

At the hospital, Angie congratulates Frankie on his new physician position. Frankie says not to give him any special treatment and then asks about Jesse. Angie will only tell him that Jesse and Tad are working together on the case. Julia walks up and shows them the newspaper - with Remy's picture and a story about Jesse! Frankie remembers Remy as a nice guy. He and Angie talk about the past and he asks again if he can help Jesse. "I was a soldier. I can handle myself," he says. Angie says no. They argue. Finally Frankie appears to give in. When Angie leaves to check on her patients, Colby comes over to talk to him. She chatters on about her hospital volunteer work and then offers to help him; Frankie blows her off. "Since when did I become invisible?" she asks when Frankie walks off. Frankie returns as Colby is refusing to take a "COW" to the third floor. When she hangs up the phone Frankie explains that a COW is a computer-on-wheels. Colby feels stupid. She tries to break the ice with him again by mentioning Liza but Frankie remains very reserved and kind of unfriendly. He finally tells her that he just wants to work, not make friends and walks off. Joe runs into Frankie a few minutes later and tells him about a new intern/volunteer program. He matches Frankie with Colby!

At the investigation firm, Tad tells Jesse that the headlines aren't necessarily a bad thing. Jesse agrees but wants to move very fast to keep ahead of the bad guys. Tad says Derek doesn't have any leads on Remy's killer or why he was placed in the bomb shelter. Together they go back through what happened after the shooting and decide that Remy dated Angie because he wanted the same thing that Jesse's captors did. Unfortunately, Jesse can't remember any old cases that might help them. Jesse goes to the hospital and sneaks up on Angie in a darkened lab room! He says they need more information about Remy and asks Angie if she'll help them find Remy's mother. Angie looks up Remy's information in the hospital database and finds her address. Jesse turns to go but Angie says it is a better idea if she goes. Jesse doesn’t like the idea but realizes Angie is right.
Jesse returns to Tad's office and impatiently waits for Angie and Tad to call. As he waits he remembers origami birds falling to the floor.

In the park, Rob calls an associate and says he never dreamed Remy's body would be found. He says to keep Angie under surveillance and hangs up. Rob arrives at Tad's where Krystal and Opal are waiting. Opal doesn't recognize Rob at first and when she realizes who he is tells him to get out! Rob turns on the charm and tells Opal that he knows all about Ray and ran as far and as fast as he could. He shows Opal some old scars from Ray; Opal apologizes and asks about his life. Rob says he lived in Atlanta with his wife, who has died, and now he just wants to reconnect with the rest of his family. Rob folds an origami bird and gives it to Opal. Opal stops him from leaving by introducing him to baby Jenny. He holds a fussy Jenny who calms down as soon as she is in his arms. Krystal asks about Rob's plans and he says he's been gambling for a few months and visiting casinos and says he might stay around Pine Valley for a while. Rob subtly asks about Remy's death. Opal begins to go on about Jesse and Remy; Krystal tries to change the subject but Opal just keeps talking. She tells Rob all about Angie and Frankie and their lives since Jesse died. As they talk Tad walks in and asks what Rob is doing there. Opal tells him about Rob's history but Tad isn't as gullible as Opal and wonders why Opal has told Rob the history of the Martin and Hubbard family. Opal says Rob has been under the weather but Tad doesn't completely buy it. When Opal shows Rob to the kitchen Tad begs Krystal to take Jenny out of town for a while. She refuses. Before he can argue more Tad gets a call. He gives Krystal one last warning - to keep Jenny away from Rob - and leaves. Opal and Rob return; Rob wonders what case has Tad leaving the house so suddenly. Rob leaves a while later. Opal is certain that Rob is 100% different from Ray and hopes Tad will like him, too.
Tad and Angie meet at Remy's mother's house. Angie goes to the door alone and Tad waits in the shadows. Someone is watching them! That someone calls Rob to report that Angie and Tad are together - and Jesse is alone!

At Fusion, Annie returns with some snacks. Babe is there feeling sorry for herself. Annie brings up JR and asks if JR's drinking is the problem or if the hooker is. Babe talks about JR's set-up theory and Annie says JR might not be lying. Babe says there is no chance of that and says she believes JR took his "first drink" because of the bone marrow donor plan. Annie is stunned that JR and Richie were matched and even more stunned that Richie decided not to use JR and instead went to Austin. They talk about Richie and the transplant for a while. Annie says Babe "asking" JR to be the donor could be the reason JR fell off the wagon. The more Babe tells Annie that she and Richie are just friends the more worried Annie gets. She warns Babe that Richie won't take her "no" for an answer. Babe refuses to heed Annie's warnings and so they won't keep fighting Babe changes the subject. Annie leaves to call Richie and wish him well. When she is alone, Babe pulls up pictures from the fashion show and thinks about that night.
